China: MI5 and FBI heads warn of ‘immense’ threat

The heads of UK and US security services have made an unprecedented joint appearance to warn of the threat from China. FBI director Christopher Wray said China was the "biggest long-term threat to our economic and national security" and had interfered in politics, including recent elections. MI5 head Ken McCallum said his service had more than doubled its work against Chinese activity in the last three years and would be doubling it again. MI5 is now running seven times as many investigations related to activities of the Chinese Communist Party compared to 2018, he added.

Sounds suspicious to me. I don't believe them. This is some kind of set up, since even an idiot has known that China has been a threat for decades.

MI5’s McCallum has probably read Michael Pillsbury’s 2015 book The Hundred-Year Marathon in whidh he detailed what he knew from CCP documents and others written in Mandarin, in which Pillsbury is fluent. It is Xi’s and the CCP’s plan to be the #1 global power - supplanting the United States - by 2049, and Pillsbury lays out just how they have been working toward this goal for decades. The reader is stunned to find out just what has been going on, how they are pulling it off. As for feckless Wray, he is just doing his “me, too” and trying to pick up a bonus with the bit about their tampering with our elections. We know who is more likely to have been doing that.

Dems do not intend to have an election. They will NOT allow a "red wave". In the next election (NOV) 2 things will happen either 1) biden will declare a "national emergency" and instate Martial Law so there will be no election or 2) he will say "citizens" should vote but "residents" should get to vote too. Thereby letting all the new millions of illegals to vote. He will give them money from the taxpayers to bribe them and they will dutifully vote dem in return. And, of course, repubs will do nothing as they usually do and dems will win forever. Or we can get out and watch every poll site, day and night, during the counting and watch every drop box. Take video. If the box is outside it is public and no one can stop you from videoing in public. Maybe THIS is the threat that they will use to shut down elections. Is this the first effort to send up the "trial balloon"?

I can't imagine that Joebama would let them say this unless there is some other plot afoot. I dunno, maybe China missed a payment of 'The Big Guy's 10% or something. And I also can't believe that they downgraded their 'threat level' for white conservatives.and glowbull warming as the most immense threats to the 'Liberal World Order'.

I can’t imagine why Chris Wray has his panties in a twist. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelousy constantly keeps tabs on the Chicoms latest hijinks through her trusted employees (although it was unfortunate the driver had to suddenly return to the birthingpersonland, Paul could have used him the other night). Also, Congressperson Swalwell occasionally has Chinese contacts on his staff as well.

Tokyo - U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday that China will not isolate Taiwan by preventing U.S. officials from traveling there. She made the remarks in Tokyo on the final leg of an Asia tour highlighted by a visit to Taiwan that infuriated China. The Chinese have tried to isolate Taiwan, Pelosi said, including most recently by preventing it from joining the World Health Organization. “They may try to keep Taiwan from visiting or participating in other places, but they will not isolate Taiwan by preventing us to travel there,” she said.

Rep. Mayra Flores is getting right to work on following through on campaign promises. One of the main focuses of her campaign was border security. The first bill she co-introduced in Congress is one on border security. It’s a bipartisan bill. That’s important during this time of record-breaking illegal immigration and drug trafficking. A press release notes that Flores, along with Republican Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14), Democrats Susie Lee (NV-03), and Chris Pappas (NH-01), introduced the Advanced Border Coordination Act. Companion legislation was introduced in the Senate by Senator Cortez Masto (D-NV) earlier this year. The bill focuses on strengthening border security by improving law enforcement communication and coordination

Americans are no strangers to “times that try men’s souls,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Paine. By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic. That sense of anxiety and the widespread desire to return to normality brought to mind how World War II was suddenly – and to many, unexpectedly – resolved.
