Former President Donald Trump made it clear that he has not endorsed anyone, including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), for speaker of the House.
Toward the end of a recent interview, Trump interjected to correct conservative talk show host Wayne Allyn Root after he said Trump endorsed McCarthy for speaker. "No, I haven't," Trump said. "No, no, no. I haven't," he added through some cross-talk. "No, I endorsed him in his race. But I haven't endorsed anybody for speaker."
Indeed, Trump endorsed McCarthy in his reelection bid in California's 20th Congressional District just two weeks ago.

That’s an improvement and it on the record. Probably no one else that could win in that CA district.

True…I read it a few times. We need the seat to stay in the Repubs column.
Wonder who he may be thinking of for Speaker of the House?
Hhhhmmmmm…6’3” blond hair? All MAGA? 😀

I like the idea of Trump as speaker. Just consider a vibrant Trump meeting the MSM with articulate observations and a conservative dynamism lacking in many house RINOs. Two years and off to the presidency with Di Santis as vice president. Could such a heaven-on-earth happen. Lets all dream.

Hmmm. Who do I want to be in charge of the Capitol police?
Originating any budgeting bills?
Initiating any impeachment votes?
Sitting behind FJB during the State of the Union Speech?
third in line to be potus?
Passive aggressively orchestrating a 'squad' meltdown?
Challenging the weak McConnell?
Swatting down any bill that doesn't comply with the 10th Amendment?
Overseeing the federal budget and eliminating useless people.

Oh #4, we must all start burying our individual Congressperson and Senators in emails, letters and calls that we will not accept Repubs promising us the moon again and then voting for wimp leadership like Kevin and Mitch.

I'm not a fan of bee-gots , raysiss or haters. So au revoir , gophair.
The Turtle isn't Irish or Catholic...and proves himself un-American as well. He's redstar and greenback.
Whatever else may be wrong w/ McCarthy, he is what passes for conservative--in Crazyfornia. God help us.

I will guarantee you, if Kevin McCarthy is speaker, he will take the house down in flames the same as Paul Ryan and John Boehner. As for Mitch, he had his time as Majority, now is the time for him to go. Rand Paul is a good choice for Majority, but I see Rick Scott (FL) is trying for Mitch's seat. I do not recommend him. He did nothing about the voter crap that was going on in FL, it was DeSantis that did the firing and got it running well. As for the House, I would LOVE to see Trump as Speaker; Jim Jordan as the Republican House Whip.

I agree with #4. Jim Jordan and Rand Paul would be a great team. Kevin McCarthy would be a weak, cowardly duplicitous doofus who would be afraid of his own shadow. Mumm-Ra Pelosi would still run things through him. Addison McConnell has also proven to be a duplicitous backstabbing jerk. He’d be in the senate bar making deals with Schumer on how to screw Conservatives. If I were PDJT I’d never support those two cowardly worms again.

Good choice by #4 for House Speaker. I'd like to also add in Rep. Scalise to the list of House Speaker candidates.

No doubt the Dems are disappointed that they have been denied a campaign theme that Trump wants to take over Congress. Our candidates should not have to deal with a McCarthy issue.

I'm warming up to Trump as Speaker of the House. It would be a lot harder for the communists to destroy him in that position than if he regained the presidency. So, Trump as Speaker, I like either Rand or Ted Cruz (brilliant Constitutionalist) as Senate Majority and Ron DeSantis as President. I could be very, very happy with that line up. Just imagine.

Trump knows KMcC is Mitch McConnell's margarita boy and needs to make sure he gets nowhere near the Speakers gavel. Kevin is Mitch's bi$tch.
