The CDC is advising travelers to wear masks as it confirms there are now 31 cases of monkeypox in 13 states in the United States. Monkeypox is now found in 27 countries worldwide, and the threat level on Monday rose to two out of three—'practice enhanced precautions'. Level one is 'practice usual precautions'; level three is classed as 'avoid non-essential travel'. The CDC says travelers should avoid close contact with sick people, including those with skin lesions or genital lesions, and steer clear of dead or live wild animals including rats, squirrels and monkeys.(Snip)'Wear a mask,' they state. 'Wearing a mask can help protect you

Comments:

Does anyone believe that facemasks will somehow prevent gay men from having sex with one another in public toilets, parks, and parking lots, as they do, and especially during Pride Month? Pull the other one, CDC; you have no credibility. Maybe we'll need mail-in ballots again to protect us from contaminated voting levers that we might lick or shove where they do not belong.

The ratcheting up of fear intimidation obedience and submission gets kicked up a notch. Monkey gaypox is transmitted by close physical contact of bodily fluids and that’s why it is spread in the gay community. It is not an airborne respiratory disease and masks will do nothing at all. This is another phase in the psyop that’s been in place for over two years. I had a doctor today that knows all about say that world wide there are less than 1500 cases. Oh my gosh stop the world! Lock down everything now! But since it’sSiddom and Gomorrah month they can’t say quit having gay sex because that would be a hate crime. Ignore all of this.

Maybe they need masks to help discourage/prevent certain gay oral activities. Maybe the CDC needs to remind those in the pool of potential Monkey Pox patients to wear condoms or not be sexually promiscuous. Of course, they won't because it would not be PC to call out gays as the most likely victims of Monkey Pox.

Buried deep at the end of the article; ''People should reduce their number of sexual partners to help fight the spread of monkeypox, the World Health Organization urged on Wednesday. Dr Hans Kluge, the head of WHO's European division, has warned the current outbreak of the tropical disease 'may not be containable'. He warned Europe had become the new epicenter of the virus, with the outbreak linked to sexual transmission at raves and festivals on the continent.'' So, this is a non-event for normal people.

When the run-up to the November election begins, the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats will begin their campaign to mask up the public, and again shutdown the country, using the excuse that it is necessary to protect the proud LGBTQI population from catching Monkey Pox. Therefore the Democrats could well decree that the November election will have to consist only of mail-in voting, with ballots mailed out to all potential voters, and that those ballots will be considered to be legal votes if those ballots are received up to 30 days after the already announced November Election Day. Obviously the wimpy Republican response will consist of writing complaint letters to whoever as the Democrats do their thing.
