Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed fellow Democrats who won’t use the umbrella term “Latinx” to refer to Hispanic people and Latin Americans. The New York Democrat said those in and out of her party who question the validity of the term are making other peoples’ self-identification about themselves. “There are some politicians, including Democratic politicians, who rail against the term Latinx, and they’re like ‘this is so bad,’ ‘this is so bad for the party,’ and like blah, blah, blah, and it’s almost as though it has not struck some of these folks that another person’s identity is not about your reelection prospects,” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, who is

I’m Hispanic. Every Latino and Hispanic I know, including me, hates Latinx. The phony woke are the only weirdos using Latinx. It’s a joke to everyone else.

It's not just that AOC is stupid but that she is utterly clueless on such matters. What is tragic is that she will likely be re-elected by even more stupid voters for the next 30 years.

I am sure that the Demon-Rat politicians that refuse to use that stupid "Latinx" term have heard loud and clear from their Hispanic constituents that they hate it!!! And poll after poll of Hispanics backs up that hate for that nasty term.
Of course, that is because those Demon-Rat politicians actually listen to their constituents. AOC has a "god complex" like most radical lie-berals where she knows so much better than the mere ignorant peasants that she rules over!!!

Latinx = they all look alike to me.
Is Latinx a Spanish speaking Peruvian of Japanese descent?
Spanish speaking Chilean of Irish descent?
Argentinian with German ancestry who speaks Spanish?
And what of the Brazilians?

No worries, liberal code words get replaced every year or so when they fall out of favor.
I prefer Chiquita, as in, November is coming Chiquita.

In regards to #4’s post; how else does Sheila Jackson Lee, Hank Johnson, Frederica “Ride-em cowboy!” Wilson, Cory “Spartacus” Booker, and the rest of the democrat party stay in office?

This is old, anecdotal evidence bit, may be of interest to some of you.
Nearly 40 years ago, I arrived at a new teaching position at a large state university, in the field of Human Resources/Labor Relations.
The university had a large Modern Languages combined department, which proceeded to separate out into a Spanish department, German, and French. The Spanish faculty members didn't get along, academically. All were native Spanish speakers - Puerto Rican,Cuban, or Mexican.
And while there was some level of personal animosity, the conflict had to do with nuances of pronounciation, speed of coverage of material, because the courses were integrated into 4 levels of Spanish, and one Puerto Rican professsor was advancing her students beyond Level one and Level two, too far ahead of the syllabi.
That meant when another professor taught Level 3, the students were too advanced.
I was baffled by the conflict, finally turning to my Mexican American bilingual friend, Hubert, who taught at a community college in NY State.
Hubert scoffed at my naivete. 9i had always been a language barbarian by his standards.)
He made it clear to me that it was just plain silly to expect commonality of modern SPanish languages and nuances..
And in the end, aftet a long effort, I helped one Puerto Rican Spanish Professor negotiate a large settlement with my university, and help her to get a much better faculty position at another, bigger university.
Is there a point to my story?
I don't know.

#6, and what about the Roumanians, and most especially, the Italians?
Are they not "Latinx", too? Seems to me you can't get much more "Latin" than Italian without personally conversing with Gaius Julius Caeser.
