More than the highest, intentionally absurd, estaminets for a border wall. The root cause is that they have to come across the border to collect US Welfare checks. So now they can collect them without breaking into our country? We will have to expand this program to every other country soon.

It is not rocket science to see what is wrong with lots of countries in Latin America. It is corrupt government and drug cartels influence. You can pour all the money in the U.S. Treasury into most of these countries as foreign aid and "investment capital" and it would be ripped off by political hacks and the criminals who support the drug trade. If there was a level playing field many more American and other international corporations would invest in the region. Think of the result if Apple assembled IPhones in Honduras instead of China. They would do it if the labor force was there and there was responsible government.

Build a completed and reinforced fence across the entire Southern border with Mexico. Vigorously enforce laws that prevent enemy aliens from invading. Deport, without exception, all invaders who entered illegally, no matter how long ago.
Impeach and convict the national assassin Biden of the treason he has committed.

I honestly don't think we have as much money as Biden has spent since he stole the presidency. Tens of Billions all over the world. If his goal is to leave us broke and desperate, vulnerable to any country with even a small army that could over take us, then he's on the right path.

Done properly, investing in these countries could keep them from coming here.
But, you can be certain that with Dems in charge it will NOT be "done properly", and will be just wasted money on corruption, and probably helping the local Communist party to organize and expand.

More money for the cartel and corrupt Black Royalty running the countries. No money for Veterans Benefits to increase and expand but let’s make sure those off shore bank accounts of the Biden Global Crime Syndicate are maxed out.

Not one red cent will reach the people. Every penny will be sucked up by the corruptocrats in these 3rd world governments. With a few hundred million kept in the hands of our own Democrat corruptocrats.

How much of that money will be sucked off in Central America by way of public corruption? Maybe 60-70%. After that someone with some go-power should check the off-shore bank accounts of the DC “UniParty”.

Much of this is private funds pledged by companies, like Visa and Gap, as noted in the lead sentence.
The US ought to take a page from China's Belt and Road playbook: Finance, develop, build and manage needed infrastructure. It's time to end the dictator payoff game and start being smart about the money we see tossed into these "developing" countries that never seem to develop anything beyond their own poverty. That's exactly what Gap is supporting when the company pledges "to increase the materials sourced from the region for the products they produce and sell."

Sounds like Visa wants to get more people indebt paying the monthly minimum and The Gap wants more slave labor. Looks to me like ugly American companies creating more poverty to our south so more will invade the US.

Now Kamala has a source to get her 10%! We the taxpayers are funding this money laundering scheme to send $1.9 billion dollars to Central America and then right back to the Harris Foundation. She’s learning quickly along with those who sent the money and will also profit. Kamala is now a member of the top 1 percenters!

every South American dictator will have 4 or 5 Bentleys after they get this payoff - what a joke but, the worst thing about this is: it's our tax money they're sending down there, where is the justice ... for us!!!

Finish the walls! When you have a major leak in your basement, you don't remodel your house, nor redesign landscaping, or throw your neighbors elaborate parties.
