CNN’s Enten: Polling Shows GOP Will

CNN’s senior data reporter Harry Enten said Monday on “The Lead” that Republicans will win a massive majority in the U.S. House of Representatives in the November midterm elections. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “If you’re a Republican running for re-election or trying to unseat a Democrat, things are looking pretty good, right?” Enten said, “I would say they’re looking very good from the historical context. Basically, I took the best Republican positions on the generic congressional ballot at this point in midterm cycles since 1938 — that generic ballot basically is, ‘Would you vote for the generic Republican or generic Democrat in your district?’ And guess what, since 1938,

Most excellent news! But don't hold your breath waiting for it to come true. Leftist conspirators still have a lot of criminal machinations, violent thugs to turn peaceful processes into wreckage, and dark-money backing to rig the elections and turn the tables on honest voting. The right might have to have and 80 percent voter turnout advantage to pull off a 51 percent victory. It ain't over yet, people. Not by a long shot.

I really, really hope that this is correct. We need enough to overcome the RINO factor, where a significant portion of "Republicans" are actually leftists pretending to be Republicans....like Romney, Snow, etc.

Don’t count on it. Democrats know what the Republican response will be to their thievery by their response to the 2020 election. I don’t believe they fear us and they certainly do not fear our elected public servants. Election fraud is the strategy democrats will use going forward. It gave them the Presidency and both houses of Congress with no adverse consequences. Why would they stop?

1) Polls can be biased and inaccurate 2) Polls may be accurate and the "election" process may not reflect the will of the people as accurately reflected in the polls 3) GOP winners may very well not be any more inclined to follow let alone restore the constitution than the democrats who they may defeat. Other than that this is great news.

How many times have we seen professional sporting teams over confidently pull their starting players when the contest is “in the bag” only to see their competitors fiercely continue to play and win in the last minute. I have been concerned for a while about this supposed “Red Storm” hubris, wondering if generic Republicans might stay home thinking it’s “in the bag”. Agree #14. The Youngkin victory gives me hope as well. And don't forget, the democrats clearly understood how critical that race was and pulled out all the stops, brought in all their (so-called) big guns, even the jug-eared Kenyan, indicating how important that race was to them. Let me quote myself from a post published May 8 about the danger of people showing up at the justices’ homes: “[I]n the current political context, a fanatic has more motive to kill one of the Court’s conservatives than just satiating his or her rage. Doing so would provide a strategic benefit to the pro-choice side. Congress should give them all the bodyguards they need, and then some.” When you have reason to believe that five justices have signed onto overturning Roe but the decision hasn’t been handed down yet, that’s an incentive to take one of those votes away by any means necessary. Especially since a Democratic president

President Joe Biden popped into the press cabin during an Air Force One flight Wednesday afternoon, surprising reporters with an off-the-record appearance. But the president spent most of his time complaining about their negative coverage of his administration, according to Politico’s West Wing Playbook, citing “multiple people familiar” with the meeting. Biden spoke with reporters on his way to California for the Summit of the Americas, even as some of the leaders of prominent Latin American countries refused to attend. The establishment media has grown more skeptical of Biden’s efforts to help reduce inflation, lower gas prices, and solve the baby formula shortage that has plagued his administration.

Among them were such heated topics as debates over the coronavirus pandemic and efficacy of vaccines, and what Homeland Security described as “conspiracy theories about the validity and security of elections.” The documents also suggested the board would play the role of policy cop at Homeland Security,

Whenever I look at a poll regarding Joe Biden, I keep saying he has to hit a bottom — that he can’t just keep going lower, can he? Of course, he keeps doing things to deserve going lower, so yes, the polls keep getting worse and worse for him. He’s already lower than all modern presidents who held the office. In the last poll, I covered the ABC/Ipsos poll, he was hitting now, in the high 20s, approval on inflation and gas prices, and over 70 percent disapproval. It’s hard to get much worse than that. That was similar to the poll covered on CNN a few days

Roughly 83% of respondents said the state of the economy was poor or not so good, according to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal and NORC at the University of Chicago. In addition, more than a third of respondents said they are not satisfied at all with their financial situation. Forty-six percent said they have no chance at improving their standard of living this year
