Oreo Cookies joined the woke corporate trend this week by celebrating Pride Month with special packaging. Partnering with the organization PFLAG, Oreo created its own limited edition “Pride Pack,” which comes “covered with words of love and support from real allies of the LGBTQ+ community.” (snip) Oreo has been pushing corporate wokeism since 2012 when the company released a gay pride Oreo cookie ad. “We are excited to illustrate what is making history today in a fun and playful way,” Basil Maglaris, a spokeswoman for Kraft Foods wrote at the time.

Euphemisms are always meant to sound true, not be true. In fact, they intentionally try to prevent people from knowing the truth.
Reproductive Freedom. Women’s Healthcare. Reproductive Justice. Women’s Right to Choose. Abortion Care. It’s all just clever but cunning branding. But it has fatal consequences.
“Right to life is short, catchy, composed of monosyllabic words — an important consideration in English. We need something comparable. Right to choose would seem to do the job.” These are the words in a 1972 memorandum from the late Episcopal priest, Jimmye Kimmey, who is credited with coining the deceptive phrase “pro-choice”.
Starbucks is considering an end to the “open bathroom” policy at its stores due to mounting concerns about public safety, CEO Howard Schultz said.
Schultz said Starbucks was exploring whether to alter the policy, which allows non-customers to use store bathrooms, due to a nationwide “mental health” problem that was posing difficulties for the coffeehouse chains’ employees. “There is an issue of, just, safety in our stores, in terms of people coming in who use our stores as a public bathroom,” Schultz said during a New York Times DealBook event Thursday. “We have to provide a safe environment for our people and our customers."

Rice, who joined Disney after the media giant acquired 21st Century Fox in 2019, was replaced on Thursday by his number two, Dana Walden, in what many have described as a “shocking” shakeup. “It’s not good for the company. Morale is terrible,” a Disney insider told The Hollywood Reporter.
No reason was given by Disney as to why Rice was let go, but sources buzzed Thursday that Chapek sharpened the axe before it fell on him after he butted heads with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

A Christian art student is suing an Illinois college, claiming the school censored her conservative views after complaints from classmates.
"I was alarmed when I had received three no-contact orders that prevented me from having direct or indirect communication with these three students. Essentially, they were restraining orders that applied to on and off-campus," graduate student Maggie Dejong said on "Fox & Friends First" Friday alongside Tyson Langhoffer, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom.
Dejong said at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, she routinely participated in classroom discussions on contentious issues such as race relations and religion, often expressing a conservative viewpoint.
A Stanford law professor attacked Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez in a series of scathing tweets accusing her of "sucking up to male power."

What do people mean when they identify as pro-choice? In the Gallup survey, 67% of Americans say abortion should be “generally legal” in the first three months of pregnancy. But it falls precipitously to 36% in the second trimester and 20% in the final trimester.

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today.
The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.

According to audio of the meeting obtained by CNN, the Trump-endorsed candidate was asked if he would support an investigation into the U.S. Intelligence operations to reveal the government’s motives in the protests, to which he replied “absolutely.”

The Democrat roster is, by all accounts, dramatically uninspiring. Biden, who speaks in tongues, is plainly beyond redeeming; the question is whether he will manage to survive the year, let alone stumble, lollop, and whiffle to the end of his first term. Kamala Harris belongs in vaudeville or farce, given her talent for provoking laughter. Both will have to be retired in favor of an electable candidate. But who?

He not only opposed Cheney’s approach to war, but he also mocked it mercilessly. As the former Vice President’s oldest daughter, with her own dose of less charm and less savvy, Liz Cheney has now entered on her own crusade. She stands athwart the House floor denouncing Trump, all his pomps, and all his evil works. Instead of Holy Water, she will sprinkle the tears of fellow Republican failure Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on the TV cameras.
