In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com she did not address claims she was a drug addict who saw the boy ditch her and go to live with his grandmother Celia Gonzalez.Reyes was speaking from the bedside of Gonzalez, 66,

I'd really like to ask her if he spent a lot of time playing violent video games and what kind. This has been a common behavior of previous mass shooters. If she doesn't know that's even worse.

Yes, he was violent. And it is a good thing that he is now dead. Crazy kids likely have crazy parents, although not always.

A teacher in adjoining classroom said it happened so fast they didn't even have time to lock the door.
THAT's one of the problems. After the Florida school shooting it became policy in ALL Florida schools that all classroom doors are locked at all times. As a Florida teacher, I can vouch that this policy is taken very seriously and administrators when walking through campus do random checks as they go.
It's a simple policy that might have saved a classroom of kids in this case. Why aren't those simple policies in place country wide.

One common denominator with most of these young shooters seems to be there was no father involved with their families.

RIght. The kid had a 10-star mother (not) and an 11-star father (not)! Both of these parents should be put through a wringer and toss the remains. Self-absorbed trash who could not be bothered with the shooter.

well, we've lost 19 children, 2 adults and 1 teen ager, all for what? nothing is going to get any better in the United States of America until our corrupt government is unseated and certain people either dispatched or sent to Leavenworth forever

Your boy shot grandma in the face because he was lonely?
Sorry, ma. That explanation sounds delusional.

Look. I did a background check on all the people mentioned in this article. ALL of them have thick felony files...from theft, to minor drug possession, to aggravated assault of a family member, to drug dealers...hard core drugs (cocaine). This is not a "poor" family contrary to what has been said. Drug dealers are not poor. They have lots of assets...primarily vehicles. The grandfather owns several properties. Grandmother has a felony file involving intent to deliver several hundred pounds of cocaine. The mother is not that sweet young mother, and the father may be in prison as I write. This family is a small scale crime org. The murderer is a product of his family. Of course, none of them "knew" he had weapons. Convicted felons cannot be around weapons...if they are on probation, and caught with weapons, to prison they will go. This kid is mean. He is a coward. If he was bullied by his peers, why didn't he go to the high school? And oh, look up another incident in 2018 at the Uvalde junior high school with 2 boys, 13 and 14 yrs. Is the murderer one of these 2 boys?

Why wasn't he living with his mother? Sounds like she did not know her son or did not want to acknowledge there were problems.

Still more questions.
Ma'am, if he was not violent, why is your mother like she is? Why are these children and teachers dead?
I'd be interested in a conversation with your mother if she wakes up. What brought on the argument before she was shot? Where did he get around $4000 to buy the guns and armor? Was something going on?

EVERY Principal and EVERY school board in this country has had DECADES to prepare a security system to protect children inside the school. With the amount of money and power in our educational system, this is on them. Sandy Hook and Columbine should have set a minimum standard of preparedness. Lots of well paid 'professionals' should lose their jobs over this.

Local news here said the kid liked to pick fights, and was in effect, the school bully. A boy who was in his class also said that Salvador liked torturing animals. That tells you all you need to know. PSYCHO.

She must have been an incredibly rotten parent if he abandoned her in favor of living with grandma. If the rumors of drug addiction are true for mom, it could explain a lot.

Don't people realize that it is impossible to truly know another person's heart & mind completely? Even your own child.
