The Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Senate primary election is still too close to call, the Associated Press reported Friday. The AP, which is the official source the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and several media outlets use to call races, said Friday it would not be making a call in the race that will likely head into a statewide recount between celebrity heart surgeon Mehmet Oz and former hedge fund CEO David McCormick. As of 5 p.m. Friday, just 1,079 votes separated Mr. Oz from Mr. McCormick. Mr. Oz was leading Mr. McCormick by 0.08%, which is well within the requirements for an automatic

Comments:

Oz is up by 1,079 votes with some absentee/military ballots still outstanding.

When an election is delayed, Democrats are cheating somewhere. And I'll bet Trump has all the pictures and information to prove it. Remember, Space Force was for two things, Outer Space and Cyber Space. Can't wait to see the videos after Oz looses to a Democrat. Trump promoted Oz probably to show us this and what really happened.

McCormick, like Abrams will never concede....sorry I don't trust AP as a reliable news source...the fake media & McConnell are for McCormick ... so I'm for Oz!!! Pa has become Georgia...another state with severe unreliable, untrustworthy voting problems....this used to happen in 3rd world countries & the State Department investigated...now....

In this case #1, the state of PA really screwed up. Mail in ballots that were unable to scan in the machines. They will have to hand count each and every one of them. As for Oz and McCormick. I pray that McCormick pulls it off. Allegheny county is McCormick territory and the military may carry him. It's a tight race and wish to hell that Trump would have stayed out of this race.

I am truly tired of Specter clones. McCormick will just be another RINO in the herd. Oz is turkish first, from what I've seen of him. Turks believe laws are merely suggestions to work around, and that bribes are the oil that keep the machine running. So I'm not much for Oz, either.

Oz is going to win unless McCormick finds 1,000 ballots in the trunk of some car. The printer's error ballots in Lancaster have been counted; McCormick picked up 45 votes. There is not going to be any treasure trove of military ballots from Allegheny County. The swing rate per 1,000 votes s miniscule. Votes are trickling in. In the past 24 hours or so, Oz has increased his lead by 109 votes. As of 7:56 AM, May 21, 2022, OZ is leading by 1,170 votes. Below is an excellent PA voting map that's updated every second as the votes trickle in. https://www.politico.com/2022-election/results/pennsylvania/

No agency, media or government, should "call" an election, ever. That ain't news; it's a "look at me, I'm so smart I figured out who will win" meme to be used for later propaganda purposes. You can report the number of people voting, maybe even the numbers voting for the various candidates, but "calling" the election should only be the authorized election entity.

In related news, Summer Lee, black socialist, of unknown pronouns, has won the dimocrat nomination for the House, from a Pittsburgh/suburbs redrawn District, after some complications at city polling places were 'worked out.' She will join the squad in the House, and is as big a loudmouth as AOC is. (The redesigned district is a lock for dimocrats.)

Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes entered the Wisconsin Democratic Senate primary with all the makings of an automatic front-runner: statewide name recognition, a national profile, big endorsements and a cushy lead in early polling. Then a multimillionaire opponent plowed more than $5 million into a flood of TV ads — all while Barnes was dark. (Snip) It all culminated this week in a burst of activity as Barnes and his allies moved to reignite the star power that once made the only Black candidate in the field the early favorite to face Republican incumbent Sen. California energy officials issued a sobering warning this month, telling residents to brace for potential blackouts as the state’s energy grid faces capacity constraints heading into the summer months. And since the state has committed to phase out all new gas-powered vehicles by 2035 — well ahead of federal targets — the additional load from electric vehicle (EV) charging could add more strain to the electric grid. “Let’s say we were to have a substantial number of [electric] vehicles charging at home as everybody dreams,” Ram Rajagopal, an associate professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, who authored

OREGON CITY, Ore. — — Thousands of ballots with blurry barcodes that can't be read by vote-counting machines will delay results by weeks in a key U.S. House race in Oregon's primary election, a shocking development that is giving a black eye to a vote-by-mail pioneer state with a national reputation as a leader on voter access and equity. Progressive Democrats caught a much-needed break on Tuesday night, after coming up short in an earlier spate of elections this cycle. The progressive left is claiming victory in three key House races in Oregon and Pennsylvania, though votes are still being tallied. Should their candidates prevail, it would give them momentum heading into a busy summer of primary elections, in which Democrats from across the party's ideological spectrum are fighting to ensure their side has the upper hand. The Democrats that surged ahead on Tuesday night "were unashamed in defining that they are progressive," said Kristal Knight, a Democratic strategist

The Biden administration privately acknowledged late last month that a mathematical error is delaying the federal government’s offshore oil and gas program. In an April 29 letter to industry leaders obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says that a subagency “discovered a miscalculation” that has caused a massive backlog in permitting. Richard Spinrad acknowledged in his letter that the National Marine Fisheries Service—the subagency tasked with analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife—has used faulty computer modeling on such impacts. As a result, Spinrad wrote, the subagency overestimated wildlife effects, delaying permitting on existing leases.
