My husband, our son and I all came down with Covid this past week-end. My husband had a horrific cough but is doing a lot better today. Our son and I have the typical flu symptoms, fever, chills, achiness and just plain feeling punk. We did do the covid test thing and we all came up positive. The bad thing is our daughter and her husband are flying in to visit us tomorrow and they were going to stay with us for the three weeks they were going to be here. Fortunately they have a really, really good friend who has a BandB and is letting them stay there free.

#12 try Coq10 and zinc every day. It may help you fight off the virus. Coq10 and hydrochloroquine, which works with the zinc to reduce virus replication, are both synthetic versions of quinine. Coq10 is better than hydroxychloroquine. (None of the ‘debunking’ studies used zinc with hydroxy).

Black hole: First picture of Milky Way monster 7 replies

This is the gargantuan black hole that lives at the centre of our galaxy, pictured for the very first time. Known as Sagittarius A*, the object is a staggering four million times the mass of our Sun. What you see is a central dark region where the hole resides, circled by the light coming from super-heated gas accelerated by immense gravitational forces. For scale, the ring is roughly the size of Mercury's orbit around our star. That's about 60 million km, or 40 million miles, across. Fortunately, this monster is a long, long way away - some 26,000 light-years in the distance - so there's no possibility of us ever coming to any danger.

California Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday unveiled a proposal for a series of tax incentives in an effort to “provide additional consideration for companies leaving states that have enacted restrictions on reproductive rights and anti-LGBTQ+ laws.” The proposal would update tax credits, employer grants and other business incentive programs, according to the New York Times. Newsom’s announcement comes after a leaked majority draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization revealed that the Supreme Court could be poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, returning the question of abortion to the states.

Howard Lake, Minn. — More wet weather is making it hard for farmers across the state to start planting their crops. Some of them say they're at least 10 days behind. "I'm hoping we can dodge the rain events for the next couple days," said longtime farmer Brad Dehn. "If we get upwards of an inch, inch and a half, we could be delayed another week." He says a cool and wet April, coupled with recent storms, means he can't plant corn or soybeans yet on his 2,400 acres of fields outside of Buffalo in Wright County. "I’m a little bit nervous about what could happen," said Dehn.

The dramatic move by Finland was announced by President Sauli Niinisto and Prime Minister Sanna Marin. It means that Finland is all but certain to join NATO, though a few steps remain before the application process can begin. Neighboring Sweden is expected to decide on joining NATO in coming days. “NATO membership would strengthen Finland’s security. Joe Biden tried to lay the blame on his never-ending list of failures on Republicans when he delivered that really weird speech about inflation on Tuesday. He blamed everyone but himself and his inept policies, as is his habit. The Wall Street Journal labeled him “President Constanza”. The speech was that bad. One person singled out as the boogeyman standing in the way of Democrats was Senator Rick Scott from Florida. Scott has been reaping the rewards of Biden’s attack ever since that speech. Scott was interviewed on several shows on Fox News Channel yesterday. Each interview was a chance to rebut Biden’s speech and he took advantage of that.

Let it be known that the politicians of the Democrat Party in Washington are either evil or cowardly with the exception of one. Reports say that Democrats had brought Roe v Wade to the floor in order to codify it into law. The goal was to legalize abortion nationwide up until birth with what would be no limits. As you can imagine, every single Republican voted against this and they were joined by none other than West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin who had indicated that he’d vote against it earlier in the day. It appears that newsroom managers have warned reporters against voicing their personal views on abortion as the Supreme Court potentially stands on the cusp of overturning Roe v. Wade. For instance, during the height of the protests/riots of 2020, Axios chief executive Jim VandeHei told employees in a company-wide memo that they were encouraged to exercise their “rights to free speech, press, and protest.” In recent days, however, the company has been singing a different tune

In a 2-1 ruling, a panel of the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Wednesday the law violates the Second Amendment right to bear arms and a San Diego judge should have blocked what it called “an almost total ban on semiautomatic centerfire rifles” for young adults. “America would not exist without the heroism of the young adults who fought and died in our revolutionary army,” Judge Ryan Nelson wrote. “Today we reaffirm that our Constitution still protects the right that enabled their sacrifice:
