God save the Queen. When she passes the crown on to whoever in her family is supposed to have it, the Brits will no longer be in a position of making fun of an America under Biden's circus.

The Queen has done an exemplary job her entire reign. I know she cannot live forever, but I would like her to continue to reign for the sake of her country. She is looking very frail unfortunately. Once she is gone, I fear the country will implode. It is so close to self-destruction since it has been overrun by immigrants and with the wokester class, it won’t take much to finish it off. Charles does not have the strength to be King and William seems a little too woke to save the country. Upon the Queen’s death, anti-monarchists will push to get rid of it and may be successful. Unfortunately, when the Queen dies, Great Britain will go with her. She is the end of an era that we will not see again. God bless her, she has more than done her duty to her country and its people.

A Kansas state lawmaker has complained publicly about having to share women's restrooms with a "huge" transgender colleague whom she describes as a potential threat to young children who visit the Statehouse. Republican state Rep. Cheryl Helmer on Tuesday stood firmly by her comments in an email to a University of Kansas graduate student while defending a bill she co-sponsored that would make it a felony for doctors to provide hormones or do gender transition surgery for children under 18. She also decried what she called the "in your face" approach to promoting transgender rights by Democratic state Rep. Stephanie

LONGVIEW — In 2019, Washington created one of the most generous college financial aid programs in the country. Compared with a program it replaced, the Washington College Grant allowed many more students to qualify for free or subsidized tuition. No longer would eligible students be denied aid because of caps tied to limited funds. By all rights, the state's colleges should have seen a rush of applicants. Instead, enrollment plummeted. Community and technical colleges experienced a combined 24% drop between fall 2019 and fall 2021. Public four-year institutions saw a collective drop in undergraduates of nearly 7% during that time period

The Utah Democratic candidate vying to face incumbent Sen. Mike Lee won’t appear on the November ballot after state party delegates voted to back independent candidate Evan McMullin instead. In a 782-594 vote, the move marks the first time Utah Democrats have opted not to advance a candidate from their own party as delegates booted Kael Weston from the ballot, who was uncontested but needed the state party to vote to advance him during its convention on Saturday to become the nominee. Rent prices across the U.S. climbed to record highs in March largely because an increasing number of potential buyers are being pushed out of the market, according to a new report. The median monthly asking rent increased 17% compared with a year ago, to $1,940, according to real estate brokerage Redfin. This marked the largest annual jump since February 2020, according to Redfin's data. The price and demand for rentals have surged as "many potential first-time homebuyers are quickly being priced out of the market by record-high home prices and fast-increasing mortgage rates," Redfin chief economist Daryl Fairweather said in

Swapping animal products for future foods such as insect protein or cultured milk could reduce global warming, water and land use by over 80 per cent, a new study suggests. Researchers used computer modelling to find the optimal diet combination to meet nutritional needs, while also minimising global warming potential, water and land use. They found that if people in Europe replaced meat and dairy with foods produced through new technologies, such as making fake steak out of bovine cells, it could significantly reduce all environmental impacts. Not only that, but it would be nutritionally adequate and meet the constraints for what can be feasibly consumed, according to experts
