Swapping animal products for future foods such as insect protein or cultured milk could reduce global warming, water and land use by over 80 per cent, a new study suggests. Researchers used computer modelling to find the optimal diet combination to meet nutritional needs, while also minimising global warming potential, water and land use. They found that if people in Europe replaced meat and dairy with foods produced through new technologies, such as making fake steak out of bovine cells, it could significantly reduce all environmental impacts. Not only that, but it would be nutritionally adequate and meet the constraints for what can be feasibly consumed, according to experts

I like knowing what the demons are planning. Jives nicely with Bill Gates buying up farmland he does not intend to use, mysterious fires at food distribution outlets, poultry diseases, and other such coincidences including them saying how we'll own nothing and we'll like it, while they enjoy unimaginably vast wealth made more enjoyable by knowing the rest of us live like medieval peasants toiling until we keel over.

Over the centuries, the United States has, for the most part managed to constantly improve the quality of life for their citizens. Yet we are faced with left wing dingbats committed to making us feel guilty about our advancement level as compared to those folks running naked in the African jungle still trying to invent the wheel.
I am not going to fall for this at all. We should demand that our leaders work to improve out quality of life, and give up on this crazy Green New Deal that has yet to demonstrate tangible metric-based outcomes yet results in moving us toward being a third world country.
God blessed us with an abundant supply of gas, oil, and coal, and we need to return to energy independence and use such natural energy to produce electricity and to cook a great steak. We are Americans!

If it is so good, start serving it to all levels of government offices and government employees. Then add to handouts of all of the illegals, then to those getting food stamps or whatever freebies are called today.
Leftists already probably eat Cream o' Critters anyway.

Is this why they're burning down the food processing plants? Starve till we're begging to eat bugs? Well, it won't be the first time communist murdered millions via starvation.

They don't even understand their own theories. The idea behind ''global warming'' or ''climate change'' [as they now call it] is that burning fossil fuels releases carbon that had been [millions of years ago] trapped deep below the surface of the earth, raising the net carbon in earth's atmosphere. Gases and carbon given off by animals and plants is already in the surface atmosphere and is not a net increase. Animal and plant life is made up of, produces, and consumes carbon. Whether plants rot in the ground or are broken down in the stomach of a farm animal does not change the amount.

If so, someone should break the news top them...

Cultured milk? Is that like almond milk? Cause I love me some almond milk, it tastes better to me than real milk. It IS harder to milk an almond than a cow though.

These geniuses don’t have a clue that insects perform an important part of the food chain. Without bees, there would be no pollination and our plant life would dwindle. Without spiders to eat other insects, the planet would be uninhabitable for the rest of the animal world. Decimate the insect population and what happens? Or are they planning to farm crickets, roaches, beetles, etc?
Count me out.
