Disgraced Prince Andrew strong-armed the Queen into letting him take centre stage at a memorial service to his late father Prince Philip yesterday, insiders have said. The Duke of York is understood to have got his way after lobbying to take his 95-year-old mother to her seat because she 'couldn't say no to her favourite son' despite objections from William and Charles, sources claimed. The Dean of Westminster had been expected to take the Monarch to her seat while the Prince followed behind, but footage captured shortly after they entered the Abbey shows the shamed royal clinging to his mother's arm.

Comments:

I suspect the RF will continue to have problems with Andrew's pushiness as long as QEII is alive.

Andrew's next opportunity to "push in" is during the Queen's platinum jubilee in early June.

It doesn't speak well for Charles's fortitude that he didn't see what was happening and cut in. Alas that he will be on the throne soon.

I didn't see Andrew escorting his mother from the side door to her seat was so awful. He is family.Andrew only has a couple more public appearances to make: the Jubilee and his mother's funeral. Charles will be able to keep him away from the funeral. He will not be seen at Charles's coronation. We may never see Harry with the family again.

Rumor has it Andrew is not Phillip's child. He is the child of one of the Queens best friends. It's also rumored Phillip had a 'love' child. I tend to believe both rumors.

At this point, I’m beginning to doubt the queen’s ability to judge character. Harry is her favorite grandchild. If Andrew is indeed her favorite child, then she is lacking.

Last year, the United Methodist Church accepted Isaac Simmons, who regularly preaches dressed as a drag queen under the name Ms. Penny Cost, as a candidate for ordination. Since that time, Simmons, who serves as an associate pastor at Hope United Methodist Church in Bloomington, Illinois, has challenged basic theological concepts, projecting a worldview where divinity rests not in God but in queerness. In a church preparing to split over LGBTQ issues, the drag queen pastor, who embraces queer theology while barely attempting to plaster on the basic tenets of Christian theology, has become a lightning rod. Conservatives argue that Simmons’ role as a celebrated figure

The research, carried out by YouGov on 1,692 adults earlier this month, asked whether they held a positive or negative opinion of the Duke and Duchess. The Columbia University Center for Justice titled the obituary of its cofounder “Kathy Boudin: A Great Life and a Great Loss.” Not until paragraph three does the reader, after first learning of “her lifelong work as an activist, organizer, teacher, and champion of social justice,” encounter an indirect reference to Boudin’s murder conviction. “In 1981, trying to raise money to support Black revolutionary organizations, Kathy and her partner David Gilbert participated in the robbery of a Brinks truck in Nyack, NY,” the obituary explains.

Just days after President Joe Biden’s Centers for Disease Control ordered yet another extension of the federal mask mandate, a Florida judge ruled that the agency had no authority to impose it in the first place, saying that “our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully even in pursuit of desirable ends.” To public cheers, the TSA, Amtrak, the Washington Metro system, and other public transportation systems immediately ditched their mask requirements, even though the Biden administration is appealing the ruling in hopes overturning it. No one, it seems, trusts the CDC anymore. But all of this comes as COVID cases appear to be on the upswing.

A California task force has released a report calling for 'comprehensive reparations' for African American residents, that include free four-year college, payouts, and raising the minimum wage in predominantly black industries, such as agricultural. The more than 500-page document consists of 13 chapters and breaks down reparation suggestions for the eligible black community in California to compensate for the 'racial terror' they've endured. The task force voted in March to limit reparations to descendants of slaves, overruling reparations advocates who wanted to expand compensation to all black people in the US.

The bison was walking near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, just north of Old Faithful, when the woman approached it on Monday, according to a park statement. She got within 10 feet before the animal gored her and tossed her 10 feet in the air. The woman, from Grove City, Ohio, sustained a puncture wound and other injuries. Park emergency medical providers responded and transported her via ambulance to a hospital in Idaho. Park officials say it's the first reported bison goring this year.

Those flying throughout the United States may soon have to put their masks back on, as the Department of Justice has filed an appeal of an April decision that ended the unpopular mask mandate on planes and public transit. The Centers for Disease Control had first implemented the mandate in February 2021 amid rising COVID cases, but as the number of cases started to drastically decline the mandate became unpopular among both passengers and crew members. In fact, during a Senate hearing about the financial support airlines received in 2020 and 2021, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker and Southwest CEO Gary Kelly spoke out against the mandate.

The Biden administration has tethered federal school lunch funding to compliance with gender identity ideology, including whether a school allows boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms. The move comes as the Biden administration is using heavy-handed measures to enshrine gender ideology into federal law. Biden’s Department of Agriculture announced earlier this month that in order for schools to receive funds for student lunches, breakfasts, and other food items, it must comply with its interpretation of the ban on discrimination based on sex in Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other food-related programs, which includes sexual orientation and gender identity.

Former President Donald Trump has signaled he will announce his presidential intentions after the November midterm elections. Yet his record of endorsements is quite mixed. By the sheer numbers of winning primary candidates his stamp of approval is impressive, but in a few of the most important races, not so much. The disaster that is the Biden Administration has been a godsend for Trump. Had President Joe Biden simply plagiarized the successful Trump agenda, there would have followed no border disaster, no energy crisis, no hyperinflation, and no disastrous flight from Afghanistan. Had Biden followed through on his "unity" rhetoric, he could have lorded over Trump's successful record as his own,
