The Duke of York is understood to have got his way after lobbying to take his 95-year-old mother to her seat because she 'couldn't say no to her favourite son' despite objections from William and Charles, sources claimed. The Dean of Westminster had been expected to take the Monarch to her seat while the Prince followed behind, but footage captured shortly after they entered the Abbey shows the shamed royal clinging to his mother's arm.

Madeleine Albright, the first woman to be Secretary of State, died on Wednesday from cancer at age 84. The mother of three served under President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001 and was a longtime diplomat.
Albright was born in 1937 in Prague, Czechoslovakia and immigrated to the United States with her family in 1948 as a refugee in the aftermath of World War II.

A California task force has released a report calling for 'comprehensive reparations' for African American residents, that include free four-year college, payouts, and raising the minimum wage in predominantly black industries, such as agricultural. The more than 500-page document consists of 13 chapters and breaks down reparation suggestions for the eligible black community in California to compensate for the 'racial terror' they've endured. The task force voted in March to limit reparations to descendants of slaves, overruling reparations advocates who wanted to expand compensation to all black people in the US.
Yellowstone National Park, Wyo. — A bison gored a 25-year-old woman in Yellowstone National Park. The bison was walking near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, just north of Old Faithful, when the woman approached it on Monday, according to a park statement. She got within 10 feet before the animal gored her and tossed her 10 feet in the air. The woman, from Grove City, Ohio, sustained a puncture wound and other injuries. Park emergency medical providers responded and transported her via ambulance to a hospital in Idaho. Park officials say it's the first reported bison goring this year.
