Manchin Busts Biden's Energy Lie and Lays

Joe Biden has said that he’s doing everything he can to work on the issue of rising gas prices. At the same time, he’s also said there wasn’t much he can do, and has blamed it on Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Biden tried to blame it on oil companies, too, claiming they have permits but aren’t drilling enough. Talk about completely not taking the blame or the responsibility for anything. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) – the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee chair – busted those lies, saying there’s a lot that can be done — starting with getting stalled pipeline permits approved.

Comments:

Unfortunately for Manchin, Dementia Joe is completely beholden to the far left on this issue. They stole the Presidency for him and they expect results!

Manchin can do a lot. Threaten to become a Repblican (and turn the Senate over to the Republicans) unless US drilling is permitted.

Manchin will never become a republican. He is a true democrat. I have my doubts about him and can not trust him. We need WV to get a true republican in his seat. I'm tired of watching which way the wind blows how Manchin will vote.

Leaders don't make excuses, blame others, or say "I can't do anything about it". Leaders solve problems and admit their mistakes. Biden is not a leader, and it's infuriating and frustrating that he's the president.

FACT: High energy prices serve a democrat purpose, it gives the government power over us and adds another form of control over the American people, just like COVID did. If people are worried about high energy and food costs, it takes their focus away from incompetent, corrupt government. FACT: Everybody knows that electric vehicles will not effectively replace ICE vehicles anytime in the next thirty years, even the democrats, but that excuse keeps the greenies happy and voting for wasteful spending while it infuriates those of us with actual functioning minds. FACT: The democrats can not win a fair election anytime in the next six or eight years so there WILL be cheating and threats used. Count on it.

WV will ALWAYS vote for Manchin no matter which Party he is with. He's a God to those folks! Personally, I think he's setting himself up to be the Democrat Nominee for President. Many Democrats are NOT happy with Biden or where his Party is heading. Manchin seems to be the more Moderate member of their Party. Going against Biden and Pelosi has put him in the perfect position to Run for President! JMHO!

If the Oil industry wanted to start their own form of protesting, they would start their own operations on lands they have already been drilling on. Let's see Biden and Pelosi send the military after them on this one. That would be an interesting choice for a trigger from democrats would it not?

Someone should ask Biteme why he thinks that increased oil production in Saudi Arabi, UAE, Iran, or Venezuela can reduce the market price of a barrel of oil, but if the US increased production it would have no effect. He has sent diplomatic envoys to those countries to beg for an increase in production. Trump would have called the CEOs of US oil companies to a meeting and worked with them to increase production, here. Then work with Canada and Mexico to increase production. Just the announcement of such plans would move the futures market and the current prices. He could even invoke the War Powers act to require US producers to act and provide them credit and resources as part of the energy version of Operation Warp Speed.

Biden is not approving any pipeline permits, making it useless to drill. Why aren't Democrats driving electric cars? Why aren't Democrats heating their homes with solar? I want to inspect Biden and the rest of the Democrat member of Congress's homes and vehicles to see if they are complying with their energy recommendations. I would add the Democrat judges as well. We need to take a closer look at these judges that are lecturing us.

Up, up and you pay. The average U.S. price for regular-grade gasoline at the pump soared a whopping 79 cents over the past two weeks to hit a record $4.43 per gallon on Sunday. That exceeds by 32 cents the prior all-time high of $4.11 set in July 2008, AP reports. Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey said Sunday the new price is still some way from the inflation-adjusted record high of about $5.24 per gallon. The price at the pump is $1.54 higher than it was a year ago, with plenty of consumers pointing directly at President Joe Biden and his policies.

Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey, a Democrat, has claimed that, despite an abundance of evidence showing that “clean” energy is currently neither as reliable nor as efficient as traditional energy, America should invest in it right now instead of the latter. He made this bold but dubious assertion while delivering a speech this weekend at the Democrat National Committee’s winter meeting. “Republicans and their oil-soaked cronies … want to feed the American people one of the biggest lies of all – that drilling for more oil and more gas is the path to energy independence,” he said during his speech. “Republicans say that they have an all-of-the-above plan,

In 2020, President Joe Biden declared war on oil and gas in America. In a Democratic primary debate, Biden declared, “No more subsidies for the fossil fuel industry. No more drilling including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period. It ends.” High gas prices are all part of his plan. The other day, Biden declared that there was nothing his administration had done to raise prices or restrict drilling. Actually, there have been plenty of regulatory measures taken and offshore leases curtailed. More importantly, Biden declared war on fossil fuels. If you were an investor, would you invest in a company

The shifting sands of Democrat gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke’s gun control plans have solidified, for now, into a pledge to buy back AR-15s and AK-47s from Texans if the state legislature will support doing it. O’Rourke spoke with Texas Tribune CEO Evan Smith on Saturday and KVUE reported O’Rourke’s comments. Smith asked O’Rourke to clarify his position on confiscatory gun control. O’Rourke stressed his belief that citizens should not be able to buy a AR-15s, then said: “And if I can find the consensus within the Legislature to have a law in the state of Texas that allows us to buy those AK-47s and AR-15s back, we will.

No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period, ends, number one." (Candidate Joe Biden, Democratic Presidential debates, March 15, 2020.) Well, whatever else we might say about Biden, we can’t say he fudged on that campaign pledge. One consequential calamity stares us in the face every time we pump gas. One calamity Greenies often trumpet in support of Biden’s Green New Deal is the BP oil spill off the Louisiana coast in April, 2010. For those who only remember the hysterical headlines of the time,

Democrats have got nothing to run on for re-election. And that’s eating at the politicians who’ve been casting about for a catchy slogan that would fit on a bumper sticker and sweep the country. Originally, the Biden people thought that “Build Back Better” would carry them to victory. But it’s become apparent that BBB is the punchline to a joke and wouldn’t be useful. Some Democrats hit upon the brilliant slogan “Democrats Deliver!” but the White House polled the tagline and found it came in near the bottom of other suggestions. Given what Democrats have “accomplished” so far, Republicans could easily make a mockery of that slogan. “Deliver what?” they might counter.
