Oh... people need to be sued of their last dime personally by parents, fired by the school district, and prosecuted for child abuse. I think that covers it.

All of the fair-skinned kids need to be pulled from that school immediately. With only 524 pupils at the school, that would massively affect their funding. And, sadly, money is the only thing that gets these brain-dead lie-beral administrators' and teachers' attention.

Showing high school students the Spike Lee documentary would be worthwhile but elementary age children? And to stigmatize children, even for an experiment, is abusive. This should be positive messages of treating everyone with respect. BTW, my daughter worked In a school with 90% minorities. The white children were racially abused constantly. No one addresses that.

In my northern NJ high school back in 1968, we had a guest speaker in our Civics class come in and do an exercise where she separated the kids with blue eyes and brown eyes. The blue eyed kids were told they were inferior, inherently so, and were allowed few rights. We were made to sit in the back of the class room and were cut off from any discussion and told to remain quiet. 1968, folks.

They are trying to start a race war as a vehicle to the Bolshevik uprising. When you combine sick in the head w not too bright you get the woke teachers movement. Strategically speaking, the minute you broach the topic of violent crime you put minority communities that have a serious violent crime problem at a disadvantage. That is not too bright. Showing children autopsy photos is sick in the head. Welcome to the revolution.

There are hard truths in life that we all have to learn. However, teaching in this manner is age inappropriate. Children are very sensitive at that age and trying to equate skin color, hair color, eye color or any other immutable characteristic a child has to make a point in this way is cruel. History should be taught by facts not with the goal of using emotional abuse to make a point. Teachers want to present the horrors but rarely present the bravery of those people who fought hard in so many different ways to end discrimination. This is a lopsided accounting that indicates that it still exists today and it is somehow their fault. This gives kids no hope that we can ever be better which is such a horrific lie to burden children with. Think of the missed opportunities to show children that from great horror and misery good things can be realized. They never want to present the other side of the coin which would be a healing balm to show them there was good decent people working hard against this discrimination. Giving them a lopsided picture of history is a tactic of the left that guarantees hard feelings and guilt. Only a cruel sadistic mind would approve of this. Children are the future. Why send them out with racism in their hearts and minds? Why not tell them a story of redemption of how a country worked, bled and died to right this terrible wrong. Allow them to be proud of their history even if bad things happened. Show them how we overcame evil with good. Allow them to be proud of the progress they have made and encourage them to be part of it going forward. What they are doing now is just instilling hate and racism in their hearts where none exists.

The late, first Mrs. Lakerman was an elementary teacher, and used the eye color segregation effectively, with her 5th grade all white class. It showed the irrationality of racial segregation, still around in that era. The children got the message. I'm not sure if it would have been as effective, if she had had black or brown students in her class- it would have been much more difficult to manage the exercise.

In junior NCO school they brought in a local businessman to talk about employee types and leadership and whatnot. Eventually his talk got more and more anti-black, how they were unreliable, lazy, combative, etc. It got to the point where the black guys were losing their military bearing. He was trying to bait the white guys into agreeing with them. We knew better. The military doesn't have a speaker without knowing exactly what he is going to say. Turns out he was a very fair skinned black guy. Whenever the subject is race, its best not to engage. It is always a set up for whitey.

I believe the idea was to show the blue eyed students that such behavior was wrong. If it had be foisted on me or my children I would have left and sued the pants off the school. This type of exercise is entirely inappropriate for kids at this age. Leon Springs elementary is arguably the best school in the district. It has a diverse student body and is located in one of the most affluent areas of San Antonio. My two children, both blonde headed boys, attended school at LSE. Their friends came from many ethnic backgrounds. I cannot imagine this type of education being necessary, unless the school is trying to indoctrinate the kids.

These people are mentally ill. Besides which, this, “segregation,“ exercise is not really demonstrating anything that’s actually happening now, in the real world. If anything, especially when it comes to African-Americans, they are self-segregating. Appearances suggest a lot of African Americans don’t want to act, “white.” Angela Davis derided the, “melting pot,” of American society as, “getting melted DOWN!” To stand apart from the social contract is a choice people make. And that choice has consequences. Starting a riot because Micky D’s ran out of McRibs, knocking down Polar Bears, and looting a Louie Vuitton store in the name of social justice isn’t caused by all the little blonde kids huddled in one corner, and all the little dark haired kids huddled in another. Just another educational knee jerk one size fits all “zero tolerance,” oversimplified overreaction to an enormous social problem that exercises like it make worse instead of better. I’m just so over it. Black Lives Matter annihilated billions of dollars worth of property and killed people for almost a year and a half. How does an exercise like this, heal the wounds that caused that?

The Black teacher had her favorite students and I wasn't one of them even though I was a good student and never caused any trouble. I found out later on that she was a racist who didn't like the fact that I was friends with an "evil" White person. I have no doubt that if it were today Mrs. Howard would be one of these teachers doing this in her classroom.

Geesh! I went to Elementary school in 1946 to 1955. I was aware of Black kids and where they lived and how their ancestors were Slaves without my Teachers putting on a Play about it! I went to High School 1955 to 1959 and had several Black Girlfriends who ran in my circle, went to Slumber Parties and Birthday Parties and Pizza Parties with the rest of us and nobody thought anything of it. The PROBLEM is there are Blacks who can't LET IT GO! Everyone was taught what happened to Blacks and yes, it was horrible (we all agree), but WE didn't do it! The Blacks now want to bring it back so they can get REPERATIONS. They want money from US for something we didn't do and they don't deserve. Black History can be taught in upper classes, but they also should be highlighting those Blacks who went out and became Millionaires, who run companies they started from nothing, who are Airline Pilots and Doctors and other professions to be proud of. The Blacks who are Lazy and Stupid are the ones who keep pounding the Slavery thing. They need to get a JOB!

When I taught the third grade, I put arm bands on half the children. Those children were singled out to be last and not given the same "privileges" as the children without arm bands. It did not take long before the children with arm bands became psychologically distressed at which point I stopped the experiment and let the other half of children feel what it was like to be singled out. It was not based on anything besides who had an arm band. The class then discussed what it would have been like before civil rights movement to be singled out. To single anyone out based on a characteristics that they were born with such as pigment in skin or hair color was and is wrong and could leave lasting emotional damage.

So, is this school going to talk about the self segregation happening in large parts of the minority community any time soon? Does this mean they segregated the minority kids who dye their hair in various colors like the white kids do? Problem is, this bullying of vulnerable students has been going on for decades, since the late 60's actually. I could tell you stories about the things that used to happen to one of my younger brothers when he was in grade school. I remember Mom going round and round with that school too. What we are seeing is evil in this profession, coming out to play. And they are targeting our precious children in their evil games too. Parents of these kids need to start organizing and dealing with their school districts. Don't tell the rest of us you don't have the time. This are your KIDS we are talking about here. Surely they deserve some protection from these bullies? We got a real eyeful the past couple years thanks to the national lockdowns and online teaching. New York Democrats voted to give themselves a 29 percent salary increase just days before Christmas, potentially making Albany the highest-paid state legislature in the nation.  Members of the state Assembly and Senate would make a base salary of $142,000 under a bill they passed during a special session, a $32,000 raise from their current $110,000. Their new salary is three times the average New Yorkers' salary of $43,208. Their last pay raise was in 2018, when they went from $79,500 to $110,000. It was the first time in 20 years New York Legislators received an increase. Their pay in 1998 was $57,500.

The Keystone Pipeline runs from Alberta to Houston, almost in a straight line south down “Tornado Alley” in America’s midwest, running from North Dakota to Texas.  The overall pipeline is 2,687 miles long, is owned by TC Energy, and carries 860,000 barrels of oil per day through its 30 inch diameter tubes. The current price of oil per barrel is roughly $80. So the pipeline is moving roughly $68.8 million worth of oil through its pipeline every day, or $25.1 billion per year.

Despite Trump not being present at the Capitol on January 6th and never telling anyone to become violent, the report was almost singularly focused on his supposedly culpability, to the point of appearing parodic. The House passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill Friday by a vote of 225-201-1. Nine Republicans voted for the bill, which was released just days earlier. The 4,155-page bill will now be signed into law by President Joe Biden before Friday night’s deadline for a government shutdown. “This bill is further proof that Republicans and Democrats can come together to deliver for the American people, and I’m looking forward to continued bipartisan progress in the year ahead,” Biden said about its passage. Many of the GOP “yes” votes came from outgoing members who lost their reelection bids in the 2022 cycle or are retiring.

“Entrenched systemic racism” is a significant risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in non-white Americans, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) claimed in its 2022 update on how to fight the disease. The HHS’ “National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease” said black, Hispanic and low-income populations are more likely to face health-related risk factors that contribute to Alzheimer’s and said this disparity is due to “structural inequities” that are the result of racism.

A furious Joe Biden was 'dropping f-bombs' throughout the White House as his team scrambled to find answers to the migration crisis, according to a new book on his presidency. Biden's aides told author Chris Whipple that the situation on the U.S.-Mexico border 'made his blood boil'. Along with vaccine misinformation, it was the problem that most aggravated Biden. Whipple's book, The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden's White House, details how the Biden administration struggled to deal with surging migrant arrivals from Mexico throughout 2021 - and faced mounting criticism.

Who needs those icky rank-and-file Republican voters who ring the doorbells, make the calls, and write the checks? Not the Republican Party! At least that’s what some at the top of the party pyramid think. Some of this elite cabal is utterly disregarding what amounts to the base’s effective unanimity that current GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel needs to go away. After three terms of ignominious failure, she is pushing for a fourth go ‘round as the Republican National Committee (RNC) head honcho

A stunning pre-print study by the Cleveland Clinic published Monday at medRxiv shows that MRNA vaccines raise the risk of contracting COVID-19 and that each MRNA vaccine booster increases the risk of contracting COVID-19, while those who have not received any MRNA vaccine have the lowest risk of contracting COVID-19. While the increased risk was relatively minimal, the result is the opposite of how the vaccines have been sold and mandated by government authorities. The highest risk was for those who received more than three vaccines.(Snip)ABSTRACT: Background The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine protects against COVID-19.

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah said Thursday that he backed a $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill because he did not trust House Republicans to handle crafting a budget in light of Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California’s difficult campaign for speaker of the House. “House Republicans say that they want to craft a budget, but they haven’t yet been able to select a speaker,” Romney said, referencing the fact that several House Republicans came out in opposition to McCarthy’s bid for speaker. Romney noted it would be very difficult to sort out budgets for the current fiscal year and the following fiscal year.

In a famous exchange in the The Sun Also Rises, Ernest Hemingway wrote: "How did you go bankrupt?" Bill asked. "Two ways," Mike said. "Gradually, then suddenly." "Gradually" and "suddenly" applies to higher education's implosion. During the 1990s "culture wars" universities were warned that their chronic tuition hikes above the rate of inflation were unsustainable. Their growing manipulation of blanket federal student loan guarantees, and part-time faculty and graduate teaching assistants always was suicidal.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell laid blame on former President Donald Trump and a segment of his base for critical losses in key states during last month's midterm elections. McConnell told NBC News on Wednesday that Republicans failed to take the Senate due to Trump's hand-picked candidates, and promised to back "quality candidates" in the 2024 primaries. He also said Trump's "political clout has diminished." "We lost support that we needed among independents and moderate Republicans, primarily related to the view they had of us as a party—largely made by the former president—that we were sort of nasty and tended toward chaos,"

The WHO doesn’t mess around. At least when it comes to spreading propaganda. I will assume for the sake of civility that the WHO genuinely believes that the COVID vaccine is safe and effective. I will even assume that for most people the vaccine is safe, and at least somewhat effective in reducing the likelihood of severe disease in people likely to become deadly ill from COVID, such as the very old and very sick. But I will not concede that critics of the vaccine are spreading misinformation nor stoking unreasonable fears. Quite a few sober scientists and even the health officials of many OECD countries have expressed real and reasonable skepticism

Fallen FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried will be released on a $250million bond, according to a deal struck today in a New York City courtroom.  The disgraced financier had recently claimed to have just $100,000 to his name.  He was arrested in the Bahamas last week on a range of fraud and money laundering charges for what prosecutors described as one of the biggest financial crimes in American history.  They allege that he used his crypto-trading platform as a 'personal piggy bank', convincing investors to mark their billions with him only to funnel their assets into his own company.

Here’s one part of the nearly $2 trillion American Rescue Plan passed last year that few people apparently read. The bill included more than half a million dollars in grants for tech researchers to develop artificial intelligence algorithms capable of identifying and suppressing “microaggressions” in social media posts. Part of the money was quietly gifted to researchers at the University of Washington earlier this year and they expect to receive the rest of it in coming years as the development work proceeds. You may find yourself wondering how the federal government wound up handing out taxpayer money to develop ways to automatically censor the free speech of its citizens.
