CDC Drastically Alters Key Measure That
Influences Mask Mandates Across US

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Feb. 25 drastically changed a key measure that is used by officials across the country to determine whether or not to require mask-wearing. The federal agency now says nearly three-quarters of Americans don’t need to wear masks because they live in areas with low or medium community risk from COVID-19. The dramatic switch comes because the CDC switched from only using COVID-19 cases as a factor and are taking into account other metrics, including hospitalizations. “This updated approach focuses on directing our prevention efforts toward protecting people at high risk for severe ailments and preventing hospitals and healthcare systems from being overwhelmed,”

Comments:

More CDC mumbo-jumbo as it slithers away from the mandate mess. Anyone with a functioning brain knew that the “cases” they were counting were, at best, positive results from tests performed with questionable/often faulty tests. Let the whole thing go, you silly fools. Masks have never been the answer… Give it up!

I haven’t listened the CDC edicts in almost two years. So they are going to “allow” us some freedom from their useless masks. They are completely irrelevant now and any thinking person will ignore them.

The bureaucrats assume that the people will forget the misery they have inflicted for months and months. Sadly, history says they might be right. The funniest story yet is liberals whining that we should keep wearing masks. If they really believed masks do any good, they would trust their mask and go on with their mask wearing life. Wear them, skip you botox, work from home....we don't care what you do! But it is not about them feeling safe - it is about them controlling what we are allowed to do.

The CDC realizes that The MidTerms are Coming. They want to relax their Foot on our Necks long enough beforehand that the Media can convince the Fools to vote for the 'Rats...again. THAT's what's really driving the lifting of ANY restrictions.

I really can’t recommend Tom Luongo’s latest analysis highly enough: Putin Ushers in the New Geopolitical Game Board There’s so much involved, but Luongo hits on some of the basic and very important issues, especially how Putin’s strategy is likely to be a global game changer. I’ve already cited other analysts saying this is likely the end of Globalism as Davos knows it. That should be good news for the world and for the US—if we’re smart enough to react accordingly, in line with the reality of human nature. Political leaders in the US, Canada, Germany, and France – all NATO countries – got back on script yesterday. They could not wait to get to the microphones. They all seemed to have new energy and purpose in life. Politicians are made for this moment! They are vastly more talented at dishing out righteous opprobrium directed at foreign beasts, which make far more compelling enemies, than inveighing against invisible viruses. As Russian bombs rained down on Ukriane, Western leaders – having spent the better part of two years bullying their citizens and quelling protests – spoke in soaring tones about freedom, democracy, peace, and human rights.
