Donald Trump lashed out at the media and Republican 'warmongers' in an angry statement on Tuesday for 'misrepresenting' his comments calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a 'genius' for invading Ukraine. The former president blamed 'Biden, NATO, and the West' for Moscow's unprovoked attack on its neighbor and accused them of doing nothing while Putin declared two breakaway separatist regions of Ukraine to be independent republics, which then allowed their pro-Russia leaders to invite the Kremlin's troops. It comes as reports indicate President Joe Biden will close United States airspace to Russian planes

When those responsible for our stupid and dangerous policy toward Russia and Ukraine over the past few and current administrations, policies that might yet get us into a nuclear war, to try and dismiss any criticism as being an apologist for Putin is to betray how vulnerable they are to such criticism. It is deflection on the part of the guilty when their guilt is exposed.

#6, It’s a whole other ballgame now. If he had said nothing the media and democrats would say he was hiding because of his support of Putin. Donald Trump cannot win with these yahoos. The fact of the matter is that he spoke the truth. Putin was smart to wait until the most incompetent boob in the history of the country had to deal with the fallout of his actions. Putin knew Biden was unfit and that corruption had tainted him. I am sure he knew about every deal Hunter made on his behalf all around the world and those his old dad as VP had enforced. Putin knows who Joe Biden is. While I agree President Trump does make some unforced verbal errors, more often than not, he is on point. One word of caution to him. Lighten up on the whining. Just remind the people how their lives were going under his leadership. Take “I” out of your lexicon. Spread the praise around. Give the people a positive take on getting the job done again. Many people out here are fearful that Biden has done too much damage. They need hope. Lay it out there for them. Running the country is a team effort that requires a focused America First leader. Assure them you have the team and the determination to make this country great again. Ragging on about what could have been is pointless. Tell us what will be. Be a happy warrior.

Trump made it very clear a long time ago what he thinks of the msm and the left in general. He could care less what they think of him. While I, too, would like to see him roll back on the whining a bit, his recent tirades are meant to be attention getters and to rile up the msm. But yes, when he formally announces post-CPAC that he is running for reelection in 2024, he would be very well-served to start articulating his vision for restoring American greatness and values. During the current dark days, folks just need something, anything, to hang their hat on. He has to because few other pubbies are except for DeSantis.

I’m very weary of parrots. Even bad criminals have some good strengths . Putin while devious is very shrewd. Biden took and poked the bear for his continuing kubuki theater of ‘look at me, The greatest president whoever lived, trust me I’m from the government’. Putin has said no to NATO and don’t ask again since the early 2000s however the NWO crowd emboldened by gains from Covid lockdown feel like they can mask Putin. Foolish. They caused this mess with climate nannyism and we’re all suppose to shame Putin for their provocation. Bah humbug.

Trump is, in my view, the kind of flawed hero we see in Classical Greek theatre. His list of accomplishments as president is magnificent. He is both highly intelligent and bold enough to act on what he envisions. If he had tamped down the self-aggrandisement, the narcissism, and simply ignored the Hollywood ignoramuses who goaded him into childish outbursts, he would have won re-election at a walk, won by epic margins too big for cheating to matter. But like a tragic hero, he really could not help himself. If a janitor in Sheboygan called Trump a name, or a nincompoop in Beverly Hills, Trump had to run to Twitter and name call right back. About half the country could forgive him this debasement of the office of the presidency and focus instead on the brilliance of his policies. The other half focused on his narcissism, his meanness, and in the course of four years came to utterly loathe him. Was he misrepresented by the media in his comments about Putin? My first reaction was "fake news." But I listened to what he actually said, and all I could think was, as another poster here put it, "Donald shut up!" This psychopath in Russia is about to murder innocent civilians, men, women, and children, on a horrific scale-- you don't under any circumstances call him a genius! You are only doing that to insult Biden by an implied comparison. In other words, you are giving in to the most immature impulses of your ego-- hubris-- as you did over and over, much to the impairment of your impressive record.

I have one more comment. For the four years of Donald Trump's presidency, we listened to Democrats bash him with continuous impeachment proceedings. First one had to do with Russian collusion and second one had to do with a Ukraine phone call. I am tired of people's assessment that Donald Trump is whining. His character was attacked time and time again in the public eye. Covid hits and the sham of an election and he should be silent. Yesterday, it was revealed in the Wisconsin Election hearings that nursing homes were used for election fraud. A 100+ year old voted for Biden but hasn't recognized family in ten years. I don't know if it isn't Russia, Ukraine, or China, I really don't think the media will know what to do. . .

President Joe Biden drew ire from Democrats and Republicans alike during his first State of the Union address, and it was surprisingly on the same issue.Pivoting off the topic of COVID-19, Biden attempted to transition into a plan for the future that would unite Americans.
