CLAIM: During his State of the Union (SOTU) address on Tuesday evening, President Joe Biden claimed his administration is “actually” ensuring that “taxpayers’ dollars support American jobs and businesses.”VERDICT: MOSTLY FALSE. Biden’s infrastructure bill signed into law last year provides giant federal carve-outs for industries to outsource and offshore American jobs.“When we use taxpayer dollars to rebuild America — we are going to Buy American: buy American products to support American jobs,” Biden said: The federal government spends about $600 Billion a year to keep the country safe and secure. There’s been a law on the books for almost a century

Democrats want to crush the middle class. Easiest way to do that? Offshore manufacturing. Any good little Marxist wants the middle class wiped out leaving only the elites and the poor who are dependent upon the government. They believe they can control the poverty stricken with their largesse. They certainly do not want free men and women determining their own futures.

I don't usually watch Democrat Presidents give their State of the Union. Lets face it, Biden was worth watching just for the laughs! To say Buy American with a straight face proves he doesn't have a clue what he is saying, he's just reading what someone else pub into the Prompter! Apparently nobody has told him where we get our OIL now! Over and over he said things that everyone, but him, knew was not happening. To say we NOW have safe Borders was the big one. TRUMP HAD safe Borders until Biden came in and opened them wide and let in MILLIONS of Illegals. The whole Address was a Hoot, but best of all was watching NANCY's Facial expressions. That woman looked like a woman hoping he would say something that would release her from the Nut House. Several times she actually started to stand to clap when nobody else did. She's Crazy! Her mouth never was still, always moving! She has a problem! And how come only five of the Supreme Court Justices showed up? Talk about a Dog and Pony Show! And how about the Clown Faces that appeared after the Speech while he was walking out. Have you EVER seen so many Ugly Women trying to get the President to smell their hair? UGH!

Biden the cheater speaks (on occasion) with a forked tongue. Our household had no interest in listening to his memory-challenged babbling last night. But, I'm willing to wager he didn't speak to the number of small businesses he destroyed last year with his covid scam and his silly mandates. The collapse of American leadership in government just in one year's time is appalling and frankly pretty disgusting. Are we moving toward a two-class totalitarian society? You think?

Amazingly, Biden spouted the tired mantra that corporations must pay more income taxes and added a new twist that there must be a global equivalency of corporate tax rates imposed so there is no incentive to move manufacturing offshore. Wonderful (but a tad unrealistic?)! Unfortunately, the veiled truth is that corporate taxes are a pass-through tax on the people who buy goods and services. Corporations maintain their profit margin by adjusting their consumer prices according to expenses, and taxes are an expense.

Where to even begin................. ( and covered by most posters here because it is SO obvious): why are we buying oil from Russia? Why is Keystone closed? Why are there regs that stop almost all new (or continued) drilling? And why could the redoubtable Juan Williams state that we are "energy independent" on Special Report last night? Thankfully, Bret Baeir corrected him at once, and Juan looked mystified. Is JUAN also one of the low info voters that Biden & Crew are aiming at? Only thing more laughable last night: after that laundry list of promises with NO hint of how anything would be accomplished (in this upcoming election year, of course.) was watching the Dems push each other aside to CONGRATULATE Biden on his wonderful speech, while he gave his fixed smile and slowwww movements toward each of them.

I’ve been out most of the day visiting an elderly friend but I had to get back on and make one more comment… Due to supply chain issues and the uncertainty of everything happening in Ukraine, I’ve been keeping my gas tank filled. My car uses mid-level gas and when I filled it last week the price was $3.69. I stopped today on my way home and filled my tank at $4.07. The price probably jumped those 38 cents after TaliBiden’s clown show last night. Thanks, Joe. FJB

President Joe Biden drew ire from Democrats and Republicans alike during his first State of the Union address, and it was surprisingly on the same issue.Pivoting off the topic of COVID-19, Biden attempted to transition into a plan for the future that would unite Americans. He brought up the deaths of New York Police Department officers Jason Rivera, 22, and Wilbert Mora, 27, who were killed in the line of duty after being ambushed on a domestic disturbance call.Biden left out the ambush stating, “They were responding to a 911 call when a man shot and killed them with a stolen gun.”

President Biden said Wednesday that he’s open to banning Russian oil imports as he accused Moscow’s invading troops of intentionally targeting residential areas in Ukraine. Biden, facing calls to sanction Russia’s lucrative energy exports, indicated his willingness to go further after claiming Tuesday night in his first State of the Union address that “we prepared extensively and carefully” to respond to Russia’s attack.Critics slammed Biden last week for implementing initially limited sanctions as tanks rolled across Ukraine’s borders and as Russian jets bombed targets across the former Soviet republic.
