Marc Short, the Chief of Staff for former Vice President Mike Pence, admitted there were “significant concerns” about the 2020 election Sunday during his appearance on “Meet The Press.” When discussing Pence’s recent comments about his legal authority to challenge the results of the 2020 election on Jan. 6, host Chuck Todd pressed Short as to why the former Vice President didn’t take it a step further and admit that Donald Trump lost the election.“I think there were significant concerns about what transpired in Pennsylvania, what transpired in Wisconsin, what transpired in Georgia …

Pence may not have had the legal authority to deny the 'results' but his cowardice cemented the election in history. Courage would have demanded that he take every procedural opportunity to discern the truth BEFORE allowing ratification to take place. He did not. So hearing of his 'concerns' NOW only proves he wasn't worthy of the office he held.

The concerns about the results in all the swing states was well known before Jan.6th. Pence chose to ignore them. Therein lies the anger toward Pence. Pence chose to go along with the courts that refused any evidence be presented to prove fraud has taken place in a number of states, and Pence also ignored court certification of the election results in key states which was in violation of state constitutions and the U.S. Constitution. By doing that, Pence certified the fraud in the election of 2020. Pence should have sent the state certifications back to said states and refuse to admit them until the election certification was approved by the state legislatures which the constitution requires.

If Pence had no doubts about the legitimacy of the electoral results, he would have been forthright and told John Eastman and Peter Navarro that he was going to certify the results regardless of their concerns. This would have made the Jan 6 rally moot and Trump would not have bothered to rally support for a state review. It is clear that both Pence and Short knew full well that the election results were suspect and yet they failed to defend the sanctity of one-man-one-vote as proscribed by the Constitution when their moment in history came up. This was not courage but cowardice under fire. History does not view people who go along to get along very kindly. Pence also destroyed his political future in a single act.

Pence (and all other elected officials) had a sworn duty to protect our election process.
They all failed, miserably.

Yes, significant concerns, and Pence, the Meek, just rolled over and let the fraud pass.

They bring out the same tired straw man argument every time - he wasn't asked to challenge the results, he was asked (even via letter from some state's legislatures) to refuse the electors of seven swing states sent due to obvious improprieties in seven states elections. He refused.

Time for President Trump to jump on this bigly and declare Pence did not accomplish due diligence in addressing voter fraud. This is a huge opening to take down Pence as a contender in 2024. Move it people! Call President Trump and tell him to jump on

Pence was too much of a coward to challenge the election results. His threshold of proof is laughable, seeing as how the Democrats hurl accusations around with absolutely no proof. Its the accusations that people remember, not the actual facts. Somehow they always get swept under the rug. Mueller? Mueller? Is there a Ferris Mueller in class today? Mueller?

Marc Short is Pence's brain and not a good one.
In February 2016, Short led a group of political advisors in an effort to convince the Koch's to oppose Trump's presidential
campaign. Short is a swamp creature and a never Trumper who became Pence's Chief of staff. His animus goes back to the beginning of President Trump's 2016 campaign.

Pence was a traitor from the start. It was Pence who advised PDT on his cabinet picks and appointments. Remember, Pence was present for all of Trump's interviews with prospective hires. At the time I thought this was great. At the time I still trusted Pence, the only elected official invited to speak at the D.C. 9/12 rally in 2010. Was he a traitor back then, or co-opted later? May he never be elected again! Go home to your mansion and ill gotten gains, Pontius Pence.

Sorry, but there is no question 2020 was stolen in an electoral coup, that China Joe has been in on the G**k Flu or that Bidet, Osamaobama, and George Soso purposefully began destroying Amerika on Day One of this illegitimate regime.

I'm glad to see that Pence's staff is starting to throw him under the bus. They all knew there were problems with the election. We did not want Pence to over turn the election, we wanted him to send the electors back to the states with problems to resolve them before it was final. He did not have the stomach to do the right thing. NOW all the proof of fraud is surfacing about the 2020 election and everyone is pointing the finger at each other.

You know, the press has been successful in changing the topic. Pence wasn't supposed to overturn the election or stop it, he was supposed to make sure the voting was done correctly in the face of over 1000 sworn affadavits of fraud... and all the fraud that we saw (the 'water main break' in the Georgia counting location for example) He had the power to say: Hey, there are citations of serious problems. We don't have to rush this. Let's examine some of the allegations.

Short has an entire chapter in Peter Navarro’s book, In Trump Time. And it’s not complimentary…..I believe he is a real snake.
