The National Archives was forced to retrieve boxes of official White House records from former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida - including letters from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un - that had been improperly removed by the ex commander-in-chief.The documents and gifts, which should have been turned over to The National Archives and Records Administration at the end of Trump's presidency, were retrieved by the agency last month, three people familiar with the visit told the Washington Post. Trump and his team took the documents because they reportedly were not following document preservation rules.

The proper procedure for removing any documents, in a precedent set by one Sandy Berger, is to stroll off premises with documents stuffed in one's socks and underwear, done purely by accident. If asked the whereabouts of said documents, say you realized you had them, and then responsibly shredded them in the interest of national security and bing, you're off the hook (and so are the Clintons and Democrats for whatever role they played in the 9/11 attacks).

Is this the best you've got? WOW the Clintons tried to take everything that wasn't nailed down, remember all the furniture they tried to wisk off in their moving van? This is a joke and just goes to show how desperate these nitwits have become/

But Clinton can destroy government computer files , have 1thousand fbi files on political opponents in her bedroom and steal thousands of dollars in Whitehouse furniture and zilch zero nada is done about it.

As long as that man is alive, and maybe even beyond that, they will NEVER stop digging. They do not
realize that he is 1) smarter than all of them put together and 2) he has had his life 'investigated'
many times before and 3) maybe, just maybe, there is NOTHING to find !
The, in my opinion, corrupt Washington insiders simply cannot believe that Mr. Trump could possible
be clean. They project that he must be AT L:EAST as dirty as some of them. For your amusement,
comparison or just contemplation I give you Pelosy, Clinton ( all three of them ), Schumer just for starters.

The "Daily Mail" is a nasty rag sheet from Great Britain that is about 50 steps below "The National Enquirer" for journalist integrity!!!
They have always hated Donald Trump, and go out of their way to print story after story -- almost always quoting "unnamed sources" -- to trash him. Like in this fairy tale, people such as "three people familiar with the visit told the Washington Post" and "One former Trump aide" -- are quoted without ever naming names.

This is getting really tedious. When are you going to investigate Hunter, Joe, Obama's and the Clintons. It's getting to the point that no one believes you anymore.

OMG!!!! "Some documents were TORN! and had to be taped back together, documents that were supposed to be part of the National Archives!!"....UHm...ya mean like the State of the Union Report Trump handed to the House Speaker at an official televised Govt Function??
The story is written as if a search warrant had to be issued, and a SWAT team kicked down the door, searched the entire complex and found secret hidden panel rooms containing this stuff.Rather than...The Trump folks packed up and moved rather rapidly from a place they were convinced they would be remaining, sorting the stuff later and then transferring it as inventory was complete. Obama's and Clinton's were warehoused for YEARS with no one given access except for their personally chosen teams.STILL to this day Obama's are completely unavailable.

Seized? The headline makes it sound like the Archives SWAT Team descended on Mar-A-Largo and kicked in the doors and searched for hidden top secret documents of vital national importance. Maybe it was as simple as the Archives calling Trumps and reminding him he needed to return specific items due to the records laws and he complied. Of course, it needs to be sensationalized because it is Donald Trump. It is not like he hid documents in his pants and physically took them out of the archives. Its not like he used bleach bit to wipe subpoenaed information from his computers. Its not like boxes of records that had been subpoenaed for a court case that had mysteriously disappeared mysteriously appeared in Trumps private residence months after they disappeared but nobody knows how they got there.

Regarding the headline did they really have to “seize” that material or did they explain to Trump’s staff that some of the material was covered under federal archival laws, and then went to Mar-a-Largo residence and retrieved that material?

Not remembering too well, but wasn't there an issue with Sparklefarts' presidential documents and whether they would be included in his presidential library in southside Chicago if it was ever built on the city owned park property???

the DM is so slanted it keeps falling over on its face.
in ancient egyptian cancel culture, they'd obliterate a leader's written history, to erase that person's very existence.
