Rock star Neil Young has posted a message on his website encouraging Spotify employees to leave the company and criticizing its CEO over the ongoing controversy centered around coronavirus misinformation on "The Joe Rogan Experience." "To the workers at SPOTIFY, I say Daniel Ek is your big problem — not Joe Rogan," wrote Young, who has removed his music from the platform. "Ek pulls the strings. Get out of that place before it eats up your soul. The only goals stated by Ek are about numbers — not art, not creativity." "You must be able to find a better place than SPOTIFY

Comments:

Yeah right - just quit to make some aging rock star happy. Is Young going to pay everyone's bills while they are unemployed?

What right does Neil Young have to tell me what i can view or listen to on Spotify? I don’t particularly care for Young’s music but I wouldn’t think of protesting that music so that nobody else could hear it on Spotify. But then, I’m not a lefty. The left has special rules for us. Kinda like East Germany, Cuba, and N Korea. Maybe Young will move to one of those places. Don’t hold your breath.

Rogan sells out, and Rumble wants to give him $100 million. If Rogan leaves Spotify while Spotify donates $100 million or whatever to white or sellout leftist voices due to Joe's crimes against black people, maybe Rumble pulling over Joe is a winner. The 1980s TV crime drama Hunter featured an eponymous main character who popularized the catchphrase, “Works for me.” Today’s crime drama surrounding Hunter Biden evokes a different repeated utterance: “Who did Hunter work for?” The troubled presidential scion is in the news again and raising questions about his father, President Joe Biden. This unwanted attention has also renewed questions about the media’s relative lack of interest in the younger Biden’s highly questionable business interests during the 2020 presidential election. Earlier this week, Politico reported: “The New York Times is still digging into Hunter Biden’s business relationships.” The Gray Lady sued

Canada’s capital declared a state of emergency Sunday as police struggled to rein in ongoing protests against vaccine mandates. Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, who declared the emergency, said in a statement that the increasingly rowdy demonstrations posed a “serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents.” Hundreds of trucks continued to occupy the downtown area near Canada’s parliament with no sign that the protesters planned to leave. The protests started in reaction to Canadian and U.S. laws that went into effect in January, requiring truckers crossing the border to be fully vaccinated. They have since morphed into

Canadians have done as they were told during the pandemic. They lined up for shots until the country had one of the developed world’s best vaccination rates; they endured some of North America’s longest lockdowns; and they’ve complied with a wide assortment of curfews and quarantines. But even in a society known for its civility and deference to authority, many are reaching their limit. Pent-up frustration and rage have burst into the downtown core of the nation’s capital, with hundreds of truckers and other protesters occupying Ottawa’s streets for nearly a week to oppose vaccine mandates.
