Hurricane Canada, a category 5 political storm, has made landfall on the country’s capital city in the form of a massive truckers’ strike protesting illegal COVID mandates and vaccine passports, a phenomenon that has galvanized the attention of the world and inspired similar demonstrations internationally. This has become common knowledge, and commentary pro and con has been proliferating with abandon.
What is most surprising in a tepid and unadventurous country like Canada that habitually votes left is the degree of popular support the truckers’ Freedom Convoy has garnered from ordinary citizens across the land. Convoys have assembled in several Canadian cities, the Alberta-Montana border has been blockaded

There’s bad news for the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa Sunday.
The government has been trying to figure out how to do in the Freedom Convoy movement. They’ve tried to go after their support, by getting GoFundMe to pull their ability to raise money. While they headed off GoFundMe, which went along with the government’s tyrannical aims, the truckers were able to get another fundraiser started with a different site, GiveSendGo. Plus they’re receiving all kinds of donations from food to gas, personally, right on the front line in Ottawa.
Now, the police are trying to go after those donations of gas and propane

One of my heterodox positions on climate change is that many of our scientific efforts to improve our grasp of the earth’s climate system since it became a hot topic (no pun intended) back in the 1970s have actually moved our knowledge backwards. That is, we actually understand it less well than we did 40 years ago.
This is especially true of the heart of the matter: the computer climate models we use to make predictions about future changes in the climate. But as our computer climate models are refined with more and more raw data and endless tweaks of the climate simulations, the uncertainties

The liberal activist group Code Pink is galvanizing its antiwar activists in more than 60 U.S. cities to rally this weekend in opposition to President Biden’s war footing against Russia, though prominent Democratic groups such as MoveOn are shunning the protests. Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin said some of its liberal allies are giving the antiwar movement the cold shoulder now that Mr. Biden is in charge and Democrats are running Congress.
“I think that the Democrats are very afraid to be labeled as pro-Putin and they see everything through the lens of U.S. good, Russia evil,” Ms. Benjamin told The Washington Times.

The suicide bombing in Kabul that killed 13 US service members and over 170 Afghans in August was 'not preventable,' the Pentagon announced on Friday following a probe into the attack. The terror attack, which ISIS claimed responsibility for, occurred in the early morning hours of August 26, during the frenzied evacuation near the US embassy. 'Based on our investigation at the tactical level, this was not preventable,' General Lance Curtis said during a briefing Friday. 'And the leaders on the ground followed the proper measures. And any time there was an imminent threat warning they followed the proper procedures: they lowered their profile, they sought cover and, at times,

Everything we ever needed to know about Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski we saw firsthand in 2010 when she lost the primary race to Republican Joe Miller and refused to give up her seat.
Senator Murkowski lost the 2010 primary, then abandoned her party affiliation and ran on a write-in platform permitting thousands of Democrats to vote for her in a subsequent three-way general election. A hearty welcome was not enough, however, for Mike Kaplan, the liberal white CEO of Aspen Skiing Company. He found it necessary to issue a memo to all employees instructing them how to behave around black people.
Kaplan instructed employees to greet the black guests “lovingly and intentionally.” He says employees ordinarily treat all guests this way but instructed them “to make an even greater effort” with the black ones. He goes on to tell employees the reason for this special effort for blacks.

The Left has a word for misinformation that turns out to be true. They call it, “misinformation.” Over and over again, the tech giants, cheered on by power-drunk government officials, have censored and deplatformed people who have contradicted the official narrative regarding COVID and heavy-handed public health measures that restrict freedom with dubious health benefits.
Tellingly, the demands to censor Joe Rogan rarely identify the supposed “misinformation” he peddled. Even more tellingly, the censors totally fail to acknowledge that Rogan-promoted “conspiracy theories” have a better track record than many of the articles of faith his critics promoted.

She also allegedly failed to disclose past unpaid federal taxes on the mortgage applications, the indictment said. She pleaded not guilty to all four counts, FOX 45 of Baltimore reported.
Mosby, 42, has refused to resign and has claimed the charges are politically motivated.

The book, which documents the cozy financial and political relations between the Chinese government and some of the most powerful people in the West, revealed decades of both ideological and financial ties between Beijing and the Trudeaus, beginning with the elder Trudeau visiting China in 1960 and meeting Mao Zedong, among other communist leaders.

In this installment of their weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative discuss six conclusions we can draw from the anti-vaccine mandate protests sweeping across Canada.
#6: Canadian establishment conservatives are just as worthless as their American counterparts.
Parker: I am a big Jordan Peterson fan, and he finally gave me an opportunity to bring him into our discussions. I can usually never do Peterson justice; he’s just a uniquely gifted thinker and orator. As always, he captures what so many people feel innately but often can’t communicate.

Germany, as we well know with its Russian gas capers, is a highly industrialized society in need of a lot of energy.
Fine and dandy. But how they get it presents increasingly bad options.
They got rid of their nuclear power in the wake of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear meltdown after a big earthquake in Japan, (despite Germany not being in a quake zone), driving themselves to dependency on foreign suppliers. That's presented problems for them what with Russia filling that role, so their other recourse has been the one Joe Biden is touting for America: Green energy -- like wind and solar power.
It's costly, requiring state subsidization,

What do the Lincoln Project RINOs (basically Democrats at this point) do besides make fools of themselves in their never-ending quest to defeat the bad orange man with some ridiculous, pro-Democrat scheme or another?Very little. Sexually harass minors, I suppose. But, other than the whole pedo thing, all the Lincoln Project does is try to help the Democrats by slandering Republicans, as we saw when it staged a fake white supremacist rally to try to bring down now-Governor Glenn Youngkin’s campaign in Virginia.None of those attempts have worked,

Awkwafina returned to Twitter after a two-year absence on Saturday to address longstanding criticism over her use of a blaccent and appropriation of Black culture.
In a statement that also indicated she would be “retiring from Twitter,” the Crazy Rich Asians and Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings star denies that her use of AAVE, or African American Vernacular English, as well as her “blaccent” — a voice that stereotypically imitates forms of Black American dialect — were meant to mock Black people.
Early in her message, the actress acknowledged the sociopolitical and “historical context of the African American community”

Buck passing is a time-honored tradition in American politics. A former Minnesota Governor once wryly observed that successful leaders have perfected the ability to take credit for things that they don’t deserve and avoid the blame for those things which they do.
Harry Truman had a sign on his desk that famously said, “The Buck Stops Here.” By the time Mr. Biden arrived at the Oval Office that sign was long gone. Rumor has it that Donald Trump had a sign that read, “I kick buck and take names! (You got a problem with that?)” The current clueless Commodore of our ship of state should have

Earlier in the week, I reported that there was a “growing chorus of politicians and health experts” in Canada calling for an end to COVID mandates, after the protests by the Freedom Convoy. While we’ve been focused a lot on the occupation in Ottawa, they also had a blockade going on at the border in Alberta as well as protests in other areas.
The RCMP apparently thought they could tow the truckers away, by calling up the local tow truck operations. But they got rejected big time, with the tow truck organization telling them they supported the peaceful protest. We previously reported on a similar effort in Ottawa which also failed.

“Every word he says he is a lie. A nose as long as the trucker‘s convoy.”
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson
When thousands of truckers drove toward Ottawa in protest against the vaccine mandates, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described them as “the small fringe minority” holding “unacceptable views.”
As the movement gained momentum and the truckers were joined and cheered on by scores of their compatriots objecting to Canada’s regime of Covid oppression, Trudeau implied that they were racists and Nazis. This he added on top of his earlier characterization of those who object to his policies as misogynists, science deniers, purveyors of misinformation and conspiracy theorists.

Joe Biden’s approval rating among African-Americans has dropped significantly during his presidency, as his approval overall continues to slide.A focus group of African Americans in the states of Michigan, Texas, and Georgia, conducted by Democratic surveyor Navigator Research, found that Biden’s approval among black people fell 10 percentage points over the course of the year 2021, from 86% in January 2021, shortly after Biden took office, to 76% in 2022. Even more surprising, Biden’s approval among black voters under 35 declined by a full 25% over the past year, from 88% in 2021 to just 63% in 2022.

When you look at the people on CNN the absolute last thing to come to your mind is “sex.” Now that I’ve planted that thought in your head you’ve probably thrown up in your mouth a little bit, sorry about that. But while “CNN” and “sex” are the brushing your teeth and drinking orange juice of cable news, it turns out the network founded by Ted Turner was pretty much an unaccountable key party that appears to have come to an end.
For those who haven’t seen a movie featuring one, or didn’t live through the 1970s and attend one, a key party was a wife-swapping party where men

Corporal Charles Galloway was brutally murdered during a traffic stop in Harris County (Houston) on January 23. This week the behavior of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo at Galloway’s memorial service is being called “disruptive and disgraceful.” Sgt. Roy Guinn’s account of her behavior has been made into a YouTube video by a local radio show host.Galloway is one of several law enforcement officers who have been shot in the line of duty in recent weeks in Houston. Crime has escalated and thanks to soft-on-crime Democrat leadership in Houston and Harris County, criminals are emboldened.

There are actually a few animals in nature that display sequential hermaphroditism – the ability to switch from male to female, or vice versa. Clownfish are a prime example. They school around a dominant female. When the female dies, the dominant male changes sexes to become the dominant female. Maybe Adam Schiff has hermaphroditism (in addition to his clownfishyness). He’ll have to wait a bit longer for his big switch. San Fran Nan just announced she has no intention of giving up her dominant female throne anytime soon. Regardless, the LGBTQ movement has decided that adding humans to the list of hermaphroditic species

In the process, Kennedy exposes Fauci as a self-serving, manipulative bureaucrat who "implemented a system of dysfunctional conflicts and a transactional culture" that enabled Fauci's National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases to become "a seamless appendage of Big Pharma," Kennedy wrote.
Part of the book describes how Fauci manipulated the AIDS crisis during the 1980s to

Apparently, nobody told Chris Wallace that rats are supposed to jump from sinking ships, not onto them. After leaving Fox News for the nascent CNN+ streaming service (and watching ratings soar for his old show, Fox News Sunday, once he was gone), Wallace now finds himself abandoned by the person who lured him away, Jeff Zucker. Radar reports:
Chris Wallace is “irate” at the ousting of CNN president Jeff Zucker and his future at the news network is uncertain, Radar has been told. (snip) Wallace has got to be worried about the long knives and his ample back at his new employer that looks like it is about to clean house.

If you want to feed on fake news, be bombarded by endless praise-filled coverage of scoundrels whose fame is undeserved, and listen to just plain idiocy, keep watching television news. With the latest conviction of former media star Michael Avenatti, I’ve made my case. Not only does the story of his rise and fall illustrate my point, but the failure of the media that gave him so much praise and coverage is not the end of it. Their lack of curiosity about his funding, even to this day, further condemns them as mere propagandists for the Left.
At present he’s facing a number of charges for extortion and fraud.

Do you trust the U.S. government? I don’t recommend it.
Consider what John Kirby, a spokesman for the Pentagon, said a couple of days ago at a press briefing. “We believe,” Kirby said, that Russia is planning to stage a fake attack by Ukrainian military or intelligence forces against Russian sovereign territory, or against Russian speaking people,” in order to justify an invasion of Ukraine. Kirby had lots of details: “We believe that Russia would produce a very graphic propaganda video, which would include corpses and actors that would be depicting mourners, and images of destroyed locations, as well as military equipment,

Tucker Carlson famously labeled Michael Avenatti, the lawyer of Stormy Daniels, as the “creepy porn lawyer.” He was the one that helped her slander President Trump in the media, acted horribly the whole time, and generally made a fool of himself. Plus, he became known as the “creepy porn lawyer,” so that probably wasn’t ideal for him.
Well, now he’s not even that. Why? Because a court just found him guilty of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the book proceeds of Stormy Daniels, his former client.
The two crimes he was charged with in connection with the money he stole were wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

The interesting about people is their innate ability to control what attributes and personality traits they are comfortable presenting to the world.
Some are very open in their expression while others are more guarded. Those harboring racist views are expected to not express them in the public square but sometimes their hated slips out “accidentally.”
Caryn Johnson, better known as Whoopi Goldberg has been in the public square for decades. In 2007 she became a co-host on the daytime television talk show The View. While noted for her liberal views, Goldberg originally served as the moderator during the program’s frequent debates.

How is possible that a monster, a man who claimed that he has killed three boys and molested more than 200 others, was released with no parole monitoring system and is not required to register as a sex offender which means he is free to move around.
The man, Cary Jay Smith, 61, was convicted of a misdemeanor sexual offense involving a child and had to register as a sex offender in 1985, however that requirement expired and he was removed from the sex offender registry by the state of California in 2005.
Smith has repeatedly testified to having fantasies about raping and killing young boys

Johns Hopkins university this week dropped a quiet bombshell of an article that went widely ignored in the mainstream media.
Dr. Marty Makary, spearheading a team at Johns Hopkins to do the work that the CDC and NIH refuse to do, showed that 99% of unvaccinated people known to have Covid infections had robust “natural immunity” that did not diminish for at least 650 days.
Results
Of 1580 individuals invited to undergo serologic testing, 816 (52%) did so between September 24, 2021, and November 5, 2021. Participants had a mean age of 48.0 years, 421 (52%) were women, and 669 (82%) were White (Table). Fourteen percent reported routine mask use in public.
