Corporal Charles Galloway was brutally murdered during a traffic stop in Harris County (Houston) on January 23. This week the behavior of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo at Galloway’s memorial service is being called “disruptive and disgraceful.” Sgt. Roy Guinn’s account of her behavior has been made into a YouTube video by a local radio show host.Galloway is one of several law enforcement officers who have been shot in the line of duty in recent weeks in Houston. Crime has escalated and thanks to soft-on-crime Democrat leadership in Houston and Harris County, criminals are emboldened.

Comments:

She's supposed to be an adjudicator of the law, and this is what she thinks of law enforcement. She should be fired and disbarred.

OP, County Judge in Texas is not a judicial position (as pointed out in the article) but an administrative position. I do not believe she is a lawyer, so therefore, can not be disbarred.

HOW DISGRACEFUL. She got EXACTLY what she wanted. Every time anyone, including the family remembers his service they will remember her actions, they will never have peace from it. Sadly, shamefully, this will ALWAYS be about her. Sorry to get off topic, but this line in that article needs to be addressed: "This week he sent a memo out to all sheriff’s office employees instructing them to share preferred pronouns in introductions." A little humility goes a long way. Her behavior and lack of decorum reflects a person who is probably not qualified to be either a judge or who should have been in attendance at the funeral service of a person who paid the ultimate sacrifice. What a terrible person.

On February 4, a car plowed through a group of demonstrators against Covid restrictions in Winnipeg, Canada. The driver fled the scene, leaving four adult males injured. Videos taken by surveillance cameras and bystanders show the moment of impact. The white Jeep Patriot speeds up past the trail of cars and aims directly at a group of protesters. One of the victims can clearly be seen being driven over, as the Jeep’s operator indiscriminately steers into others. Thankfully, no one was killed in the incident. Winnipeg police apprehended the suspect, a 42-year-old man from Headingley, this past Sunday.

A three-year battle in Vermont is coming to a head over Proposal 5, an amendment to the state constitution that would enshrine existing Vermont abortion “liberties” to terminate pregnancies up until birth. Roe v. Wade established “viability” as the determinant of when state governments hold a “compelling” interest to protect children. The current challenge to Roe in the Supreme Court concerns a Mississippi law that would ban abortions after 15 weeks. Vermont’s Proposal 5 essentially defines fetal viability at 40 weeks (birth), ignoring both Roe and the science of human development.

It must be nice to be a Democrat in 2022. Think about it: You don’t have to be constrained by truth, reality, or the consequences of ignoring them. Isn’t postmodernism great?! Nothing – and I mean that literally – that a Democrat politician says or their clueless voters believe is rooted in objective truth. Pick a position of theirs. Any position. Jen Psaki recently made a spiteful, idiotic comment that highlights this phenomenon. The soft-on-crime approach that she scoffed at is resulting in record-breaking carjackings, murders, and retail theft. When Chicago DAs refuse to prosecute witnessed murders in broad daylight or when California passes legislation

Here’s Kershnar on video saying that an adult male having sex with a 12-year-old girl is not obviously wrong, and that calling it wrong is a “mistake.” In the same clip, he refers to pedophilic rape as “adult-child sex,” another euphemism that, just like “minor-attracted person,”

Over last weekend, attorneys for Carter Page filed responses to motions to dismiss filed by the FBI and eight agents involved in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation that led to the government illegally obtaining four surveillance warrants to spy on Page. In November 2020, Page, who had briefly served as a volunteer advisor to the Trump campaign, sued the defendants in a D.C. federal court alleging violations of the Fourth Amendment, the Patriot Act, and the Privacy Act. In response, the government and the individual defendants argued Page’s claims were time-barred or that Page had no legal grounds on which to sue. Page’s responses counter those arguments while providing five key take-aways.

Australia has rightfully been criticized for its ‘COVID zero’ policy. It’s locked down the country. The borders were closed, and concentration-like camps were built. All of this to contain a virus with a 99-plus percent survival rate. The nation is now super-vaccinated as well, with every state having an 80 percent rate among those who are 16 years of age or older. That was the ticket to loosening the regulations. Still, ‘Australia has fallen’ still manages to make it into the trending topics on social media, with various clips showing how this nation has descended rapidly into authoritarianism to contain COVID.
