When some has-been hippies decided to see if they could leverage themselves into renewed fame by attacking Joe Rogan for daring to post interviews countering Anthony Fauci, Rogan groveled. He apologized and agreed to have warnings posted on his content. Once you start down that road, you’ve already lost. Alert people have noticed that 70 of Rogan’s podcasts have mysteriously vanished. It seems that they’ve done so because in older podcasts he offended today’s racial sensibilities. One wonders what will go next. Apparently, nobody told Chris Wallace that rats are supposed to jump from sinking ships, not onto them. After leaving Fox News for the nascent CNN+ streaming service (and watching ratings soar for his old show, Fox News Sunday, once he was gone), Wallace now finds himself abandoned by the person who lured him away, Jeff Zucker. Homeless encampments in Austin, Texas, were legalized in 2021, but the people of this fast-growing tech mecca have had second and third thoughts about what looked like a good idea on paper but turned out to be an eyesore under bridges.
Austin politicos have just finished removing virtually all remaining visible homeless camps. Other cities are taking notice.
The journey to this current outcome was far from a straight path.
Put bluntly, it was a dizzying display of waffling “wokeness.” In 2019, the city council of Austin had the bright idea to legalize homeless camps. Unfortunately, they took the vote in the middle of the night -- 2:00 am to be exact

By her accent, it’s apparent that she grew up in Eastern Europe, and by her age, it’s clear that she grew up when Eastern Europe was under Soviet control. She understands totalitarianism firsthand. Gina gently chides the reporter, telling him to report honestly about the thousands of people who gathered to greet the convoy as it entered Ottawa. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. recently came under fire for referencing the Holocaust in a speech he gave on January 23rd at the Defeat the Mandates March in D.C. After being slammed and shamed by his fellow travelers on the left -- including his liberal wife Cheryl Hines who called his comments “reprehensible and insensitive” -- Kennedy was forced into multiple apologies.
But what did he actually say that was so offensive? Like the boy who shouted that the emperor had no clothes, he exposed the Biden administration for its pernicious COVID policies -- and, in the process, risked losing everything

More than three quarters of students at one Baltimore high school are reading at an elementary level, with many reading at a kindergarten level.
