NYC Mayor Eric Adams apologizes for calling
white police officers 'crackers' and bragging
about outperforming them in 2019 video

Original Article

Mayor Eric Adams apologized for a 2019 video where he called white police officers 'crackers.' Adams, 61, was caught bragging about being an 'unbelievably' good police officer compared to his white colleagues at a 2019 event in East Harlem where he was announcing he was going to run for mayor. 'Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ a**,' he said in the recently resurfaced video. 'Man, I was unbelievable in the police department with 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement.'

Comments:

After viewing the video, Eric Adams should step down. It is disgusting and racist to hear the new Mayor of NYC calling white people "crackers."

A real legend in his own mind, who thought it was a good idea to announce a non-cracker as his police commissioner in front of a mural depicting cop killer Joanne Chesimard.

The word cracker originally referred to a native born Floridian, especially one who worked with cattle. If you read some of the work of the Harlem Renaissance, you will find all kinds of derogatory words that refer to whites, and a lot of the BLM members come up with new ones. But they never get called on it. I had hoped for better things from Mayor Adams.

I’m a “sticks and stones” kind of person but I do wonder what would happen if white people reacted to a racist slur from a major political figure the same way that black people do. We make up 60% of the population vs their 13%. Just imagine it.

Regardless of their color, scratch a democrat and you will uncover a racist. Thankfully, I am an adult and when I am called a cracker, I laugh at the ignorance. I will admit the double standard is annoying, but it is what I expect from democrats. They are the racist party. Thankfully, most adults in the country have moved on but dealing with those who believe everyone who doesn’t look like them are racists, is proof that this party is not fit to lead a three car parade. Until they drop their racist cudgel, nothing changes. How can you even have a conversation with someone so utterly unserious? I don’t care what color you are but your values matter to me. If you believe that you are entitled to burn, loot and riot we have no common ground upon which to have a conversation. We all have issues in life, hard knocks and trials, but they cannot define us or we will be imprisoned in a perpetual state of victimhood. When you do down that dark road, nothing will ever be good enough for you. Go away and grow up. Then we may be able to have a dialog. Until then, your words mean nothing.

As if we needed another example of the Left's double standard where they are concerned. Imagine a White former police captain, who is now the mayor, saying he was better than all the blacks he worked with ... only the White guy used the word-that-must-not-be-pronounced-or-spoken! Yup ... he'd be toast ... or have to go on his knees over to the Rev-rum Not-so-Sharpton and pay a few million in apologies. Trust me, this is how Adams speaks in private. Racist scum.

A couple of points were made here in the remarks. Let me be clear in 74 years of life growing up in the deep south I had black playmates and friends. My relatives employed many giving good jobs in their business. We never spoke in racist terms of anyone. Then in about 2008 a president brought race, a certain race, to the forefront. I paid attention and was shocked how division crept into our nation. I didn't know I was hated by so many blacks that don't even know me. Oh well, I'm a white cracker racist now I dislike them all right back. Two can play that but I can say I'll never vote for a democrat with a black face just for the reason the NYC mayor displayed they all think like he does. This redneck, honky, cracker is signing off let the mayor of NYC deal with his fellow tribesmen.

As much as I respect most of our police officers, being one does not prepare you to be Mayor of New York City. Mumbling platitudes at campaign appearances about lowering crime is predictably not leading to results. The guy is in way over his head and is compounding the problem by surrounding himself with his unqualified friends and relatives. Surfacing his racist remarks after the election is meaningless. New Yorkers would have elected him anyway. He checked all the right boxes and they hadn’t gotten enough misery from his predecessor and were eager for more. The “public health” response to COVID has been awful. Ever since cases first appeared in Wuhan, the reaction has been marked by mistakes, reversals, outright lying and even political manipulation. We need a thorough accounting. And in a fast-moving situation with imperfect information, mistakes are inevitable and hence forgivable. Nobody’s perfect. But lies and political manipulation are different. Those are a betrayal of trust, and they’re especially serious because trust is the public-health community’s greatest asset. The record here has been terrible, and we need investigation and accountability.

The number of so-called breakthrough COVID-19 cases is not a cause for concern, a top U.S. medical official said Friday. “I think the important thing is to look at what the denominator of vaccinated people is, because it is very likely—and what we’re hearing at least indirectly, and we’re certainly going to be confirming that—that that number of individuals who were breakthrough infections is not at all incompatible with a 90-plus percent vaccine efficacy. So, I don’t think that there needs to be concern about any shift or change in the efficacy of the vaccine,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told reporters

Karl Rove is, once again, beating the war drums. He is ready to send 18-year-olds like my son to fight nuclear Russia over Ukraine’s border so that he and the other neocons can talk like tough guys on TV. On Jan. 28, Karl Rove shared an article on his Twitter page written by Noah Rothman attacking American populists who are opposed to sending our troops to war with Russia. My view is that Mr. Rove despises “America First.” He loves war and the global economy that all these wars prop up.

Aspen is hosting the National Brotherhood of Skiers, which is advertised to be “the largest black ski group in the United States.” That’s nice. Welcome to Aspen, my friends. A hearty welcome was not enough, however, for Mike Kaplan, the liberal white CEO of Aspen Skiing Company. He found it necessary to issue a memo to all employees instructing them how to behave around black people. Kaplan instructed employees to greet the black guests “lovingly and intentionally.” He says employees ordinarily treat all guests this way but instructed them “to make an even greater effort” with the black ones. He goes on to tell employees the reason for this special effort for blacks.
