FBI Director Christopher Wray said Tuesday on NBC’s “Nightly News” that when he learned how widespread Chinese spying in the U.S. was, it blew him away.
Reporter Pete Williams said, “Christopher Wray said when he became FBI director, the sheer amount of Chinese spying to steal American technology was a huge surprise.”
Wray said, “This one blew me away. And I’m not the kind of guy that uses words like ‘blown away’ easily. We are opening a new China-related counterintelligence investigation about every 12 hours. We probably have over 2,000 of those investigations.”
He continued, “There is no country that presents a broader, more severe threat

Most likely every one of the "China-related counterintelligence investigations" has a secret CCP agent closely involved in carrying it out.

Kind of scary how little he claims to know. I don’t believe a word he says. He’s fully apprised of everything, not that that means a thing for the protection of America or it’s citizens. Useless protoplasm.

When your agency is spending all its time trying to bring down a sitting president, and covering up for pedophile politicians, there just isn't a lot of time left for boring things like spying.
Shut them down completely. They are a carbuncle on the butt of our republic.

Heads of law enforcement and intelligence agencies should not be surprised. That's a sure sign of incompetence. We have a president for that.

And what encourages Chinese spying? The demonrats led by Joey himself who has been richly rewarded. All demonrats just love the Chinese for the amount of money they get from them.

Why spy, when you can simply bribe a democrat to give it away.

I'm extremely interested in learning the name of the asshat who recommended the Bevy of incompetence that Trump appointed to positions of power. Whoever it was needs "chastising" in the Roman sense! Wray is not competent to serve in any capacity let alone "Director of the FBI"

Wray blown away doesn't mean he did anything to stop Di-Spy Feinswine's 20-year Chinese spy operation, nor did Wray do anything to stop Biden/China Incorporated. Wray and his FBI are too busy oppressing patriots.

Thank you, Mr. Wray, for confirming what we all knew .. that you are nothing more than a political animal with little to no curiosity or knowledge of world affairs.

Fortunately for Wray, the money he received was enough to look the other way for a while. You are as corrupt as the Biden's.

When you have your head up your butt, it's tough to see anything. Anyone who has been paying attention knows damn well China copies everything from stolen material. The advancements the Chinese have made over the last 25 years wasn't because of an increase in research efforts, they've stolen everything. I think it was 60 minutes who did a story about the Chinese copying western items at least fifteen years ago. The Chinese copied a BMW vehicle and called it something else. The copy looked just like a German BMW except the name plate, and it was made with cheaper materials.

Since he has been involved in covering it all up, along with other misdeeds of the Bureau, I am not surprised he claims to be surprised. They might open cases, but I can guarantee those cases languish in file cabinets somewhere in the basement.

And nothing new, either. In the first episodes of "Big Bag Theory", Leonard was in trouble when they found out his girlfriend was a Chinese spy. That was 2007 and already "Chinese spies" were so prevalent that they were a meme in a comedy show.

Washington insiders have become adept at generating news stories intended to cover up other news concerning their despicable perfidy in separate actions. The Trump-Russia investigation and all that Schiff is one example, the January 6th Congressional committee is another. There are many more. One wonders what shoe is about to drop that motivates Wray to leap from the silent shadows with this "news" item. Could Durham be ready to announce another indictment--perhaps of Comey? Hope springs eternal.
