How Biden’s Vow to Name a Black Woman
to the Supreme Court Backfired

Original Article

Americans seem to be turned off by Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nomination strategy. In a new ABC News/Ipsos poll of U.S. adults, more than three-quarters of respondents said Biden should “consider all possible nominees” to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, rather than “consider only nominees who are Black women, as he has pledged to do.” Even 54 percent of Democrats said they’d prefer Biden take the wide-net approach. This may come as an unwelcome surprise to the White House, but it makes perfect sense to those of us who’ve been following Biden’s blundering attempts to discuss race and gender in politics over the past two years.

Not-my-president Senile Joe biden is so senile that he doesn't have a clue what he is saying. He didn't decide to appoint a black female -- his handlers made that decision. And that is the bigger problem. His handlers are unelected Communists who are so far removed from reality that they honestly believe all of the far-left garbage they want to force on this country is what the strong majority of people in this country actually want. Nothing -- and I do mean nothing -- could be further from the truth. They are of that mindset that, because nobody they know would ever vote for a Republican, therefore nobody in this country would vote for a Republican. Yet these handlers are holding the strings of our puppet president. If that doesn't scare you, I don't know what will!!!!!

The SC does not exist to serve social justice based on someone’s race, gender or life experience. They are there to rule on the constitutionality of the law. Since liberals don’t consider the Constitution a legitimate document they do not understand the Court’s purpose nor are they concerned about following it. That’s why an affirmative action hire makes perfect sense to them.

If Biden can say that he will only select a Black woman for a position on the Supreme Court, why could Biden not set out the same exclusive racial and gender qualifications for all other federal positions that he intends to fill through his future nominations?

This is beyond Biden. The Slate article makes it clear that it is fine to make a choice for SCOTUS based on race and sex. In itself, that is true. Race or sex should not DISQUALIFY a SCOTUS candidate. However, the rest of the process, as described by Slate, is that "Diverse political institutions make more inclusive policies". That may be true for a legislature that MAKES laws. Is is absolutely NOT true for a court that INTERPRETS legislative intent when there is confusion about the meaning of a law. Therefore, what is REQUIRED of a SCOTUS justice is that they understand their place in the government and their place in the law. Their "diversity" of race or sexuality is largely irrelevant. They may see injustice in laws as written. They may speak to that injustice in their opinions. But they SHOULD NOT (one might say MUST NOT) create law to address that injustice. That is the job of the legislature, where diversity of experience IS significant so that laws may be fair to all. Of course liberal views, such as Slate's, REQUIRE a skewed SCOTUS that creates laws to achieve liberal goals. Why? Because liberal legislators are cowards. They KNOW if they act to push their true views, views that a majority of the public STILL do not support, they will lose elections. THIS is what is about to happen in the midterm elections. The arrogant Left is about to pay for their behavior in office. It is MUCH better to have SCOTUS justices, in office for life, to create law and be immune to popular heat for their decisions. It is the only way that some of the liberal agenda can be passed. The gift that President Trump gave us is a solidly Conservative SCOTUS, one that tries to interpret the law as intended, not make it as they would wish it to be. Breyer's replacement with a judicially weak liberal justice, like Sotomayor (who rants absurdly), won't make much difference in outcomes but it WILL remind the people WHY it is important that Conservative justices be appointed. That can be reflected in the midterm and 2024 votes as all of Biden's and the dems chickens come home to roost.

Biden's criteria for picking a Supreme Court Justice is undeniably raciest. The person would have dark skin and female body parts. Only after the small fire, the next day he added the third criteria that the person would be qualified. Looking at the three being considered, qualified means being a fervent Progressive politically. I have yet to hear having in depth knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.

To the extent that Democrats haven’t fully conceded Florida going into the November election, the latest polling out of the state may represent a breaking point. Suffolk University/USA Today released what I believe is the first credible, non-partisan survey of the races going on there, and the results are fire and brimstone for the Democrats involved. Gov. Ron DeSantis holds a commanding lead over both of his likely opponents, including Nikki Fried, who is fresh off trying to accuse the governor of not condemning white supremacy. On the Senate front, Sen. Marco Rubio is trouncing Rep. Val Demmings, who was framed as a strong candidate when she announced.

The Lancet, published since 1823, is universally recognized as one of the top medical publications in the world, though it damaged its reputation by publishing and then subsequently retracting a study attacking the use of hydroxychloroquine as a therapy for COVID. Still, the retraction was the right thing to do, and it is hardly unprecedented in the history of academic and medical publishing. In an article published January 19, The Lancet throws cold water on those merchants of panic who wish to use COVID as an excuse to rob people of their civil rights. At least 10 police officers in five states — mostly in big cities — have been attacked in the last eight days. What’s especially troubling is that several of the incidents appeared to target police officers specifically. Both criminal justice reform advocates and police unions blame the same thing: a violent crime crisis. Reformers think the violent crime spree is the result of inequality and police brutality. The cops think it’s due to lax prosecutors and spineless politicians. Whatever the reason, the number of lives lost is rising. Generally speaking, I am not a fan of polls. For one, I’ve never been polled by anyone. For another, the number of people being polled often strikes me as too small a sample from which to draw broad conclusions. Also, those samples more often than not tend to oversample one group, Democrats, let’s say, over another group, which again leads to questions of accuracy. Bottom line, I don’t trust ‘em and tend to ignore them in preference to the only poll that actually counts, the election itself. I’ve often asked myself, what would I do if I were to be contacted to participate in a poll.
