New research suggests COVID was less deadly
than thought in first year of pandemic

COVID-19 was less lethal across nearly every age group in its first full year than previously thought, according to an updated review of global research from Stanford University's Meta-Research Innovation Center (METRIC). Between summer and Christmas 2021, METRIC's estimates of deaths from infection fell by half in multiple age groups, including young people, and less sharply in others. The international estimates, which have not been peer-reviewed, are not substantially different from the CDC's own "best estimate" of COVID mortality in the U.S., last updated in March.

God help us! This research reveals that only 99.99% of people who get the wuhan flu survive it! At that rate - - we'll all be dead in 47,509 years! Oh the horror!

We knew that. We also knew that the virus was used for political reasons. The dems don't care who they destroy, kill and maim in their lust for power. I'll never forget walking through a park Apr 2020 and the playground was completely empty, the park was empty. It was like a ghost town. It didn't have to happen. Have no idea who could actually call themselves a democrat today.

The sound scientific research was available before the lockdowns. Anything not agreeing with the Marxist/Fascist message was aggressively suppressed. "Follow the science", "You're not a doctor", "You'll be killing people", "What if you're wrong", etc. The government message never followed the data. A fearful population is easy to control. They fear most those who are not afraid.

Very disappointed that Fox News (kind of to be expected) and Newsmax are still hyping stories about the surge in Omicron cases, etc. This is and never was The Black Death. Will someone (host or guest) please on these news shows just stay matter-of-factly that covid is not a death sentence - it's like the flu which is actually deadlier to children than covid...

I thought it obvious from the beginning that the "pandemic" was an attack on our economy, freedom, and health. Several things (SARS, N1H1, swine flu, bird flu, etc) had been tried... and our enemies (both foreign & domestic) finally found one that resounded. They wanted to stop America's greatness and its heroic promoter, President Donald J. Trump... though they had to use criminal election fraud to finish the job. Now they are busily setting our leaders against each other... pray they will hold strong against this onslaught.

While the initial propaganda out of Italy generated the initial wave of fear, American democrats quickly realized this was their ticket to nationalize paper ballots and box-stuffing...and enable them to steal the POTUS election, and also institutionalize election fraud in future elections.

That was knowable to anyone who did a good look at the raw data. I spent a few months doing a careful look at the data provided by my county in the first year. They have now "corrected" that problem of reporting accurate raw data, and now only limited, digested-to-confound-understanding charts and mostly meaningless stuff that takes a lot more work to figure out what it really means, or if it means anything at all. And, I was certain that the CDC and hospitals were cooking the books when they redefined how a death certificate was arranged, with the intent of fraudulently pushing Wuhan virus deaths. Then they started paying a bounty to hospitals for Wuhan flu deaths....and THAT really pushed up the fake death toll. Check a box on the death certificate, get a 5 figure check from Dr. Fraud. Finally, somebody, probably now fired, at CDC let out the truth that 96% of the deaths were "with" Wuhan virus and only 4% were "from" Wuhan virus. I was fortunate enough to have a nurse who worked in a hospital in a southern Colorado hospital point out that difference to me in July of 2020. She said that, at that point, they had two "COVID deaths", but that both were really deaths from other things in the very elderly who had been close to death before they got the ChiCom virus, and they really died of their other chronic illnesses. THAT put me on the right path for this whole thing, better understanding the CDC/hospital scam.

Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo.) has added his name to the already-expansive list of Democrats who have announced that they will be retiring ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. Most of these retirements have thus far come from the House, where Republicans are expected to put on a real challenge to Democrats who are looking to keep their majority. In the Senate, where Democrats have a more favorable election map, there has only been one retirement, that of Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), president pro tempore of the Senate.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy is considering banning lawmakers from trading individual stocks if his party wins control of the chamber in the November midterms and he becomes speaker, a person familiar with the matter said. The plan could be put into effect in the package of House rules voted on at the beginning of the next Congress. Government officials’ personal financial dealings are receiving fresh scrutiny following Federal Reserve Vice Chair Richard Clarida’s announcement Monday that he will resign before his term expires amid revelations about his own stock trading on the eve of a major central bank announcement.CORRECTIONS*

This issue has always been at the heart of the internal data that was never turned over for review. For two years people have wanted to know the distinction and general health position of the people who were categorized as dying from COVID. What was their previous health status? For reasons that can only be reconciled by admitting it was purposeful to their objectives, the CDC never released any information showing the background health status of those who were categorized as dying from COVID. However, recently the CDC said they were going to assemble those various subsets of key data for the public.  CORRECTION*

I’m not sure what Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) thought he was going to get by pushing a vote on the Democratic effort to federalize elections (which they call ‘voting rights’) and on the filibuster. Schumer knew that he was likely to get a “no” on the filibuster from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). They’ve only been holding fast on the subject for months. Both also were very firm on the subject in speeches — Sinema earlier in the week and Manchin earlier on Wednesday. It wasn’t happening, they said.
