Not the kind of accident left on the rug in front of the Resolute Desk on a regular basis by the untrained, rowdy dogs the Biden's sicced on the unwitting White House staff and Secret Service. I'm talking about the man who sits behind the resolute desk for his daily naps. Joe Biden is the accidental president. He is the result of an accident of American politics. His presidency will not be remembered with an asterisk, as my friend and fellow Townhall columnist Kurt Schlichter would say. No, it will be remembered... reviled...

Some guy named Jared Schmeck recently mocked the senile old pervert who is masquerading as our president by getting His Crustiness to affirm “Let’s go, Brandon!” This humiliation of the regime figurehead, piled upon the myriad other humiliations he has brought upon himself – failing to pass infrastructure, Afghanistan, putting the “can” in “Vatican” – is intolerable to the establishment. When I wrote my end of the year column last year I thought there was nowhere to go but up. I was wrong. While 2020 sucked in more ways than I care to remember, 2021 out-sucked it by a mile. The only thing bad about it ending is the same clowns who ruined this year will still be in power in 2022 (though hopefully for the last time).
Where to start with the sucking? Might as well start at the top – the Biden administration’s retreat from Afghanistan.

It may surprise you to learn that the most common type of case federal prosecutors bring is not for drugs or fraud, as many think. One of the best things about having Trump in the White House was knowing we had a president who is a brawler. He never backed down from a fight. We all knew Trump wasn’t afraid to throw a punch. It was like going drinking with a friend who teaches Krav Maga (get it Maga!), if there is trouble, Trump is happy to whack a mole.
Trump is now on the sidelines but still making moves. He continues his sold-out live appearances. Most importantly, he endorses people he will need in politics should he return. Trump’s endorsement record is astounding. In 2020, Trump’s endorsement record was 120-2. This year it was 17-1.
Between Joe Biden’s poor poll numbers and his party being increasingly out of touch with the American public, the Democratic Party is widely expected to suffer devastating losses in the 2022 midterms.
But prominent Democrat lawyer Marc Elias is predicting that Democrats will try to use litigation to prevent some duly elected Republicans from serving.
“My prediction for 2022: Before the midterm election, we will have a serious discussion about whether individual Republican House Members are disqualified by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment from serving in Congress,” Elias tweeted last week. “We may even see litigation.” [Tweet]

When running against Donald Trump for president, Joe Biden often made the now-ironic charge that any president who has allowed so many deaths from COVID-19 should never be in the White House. Today, there are more deaths from COVID under Biden than under Trump -- and that is even with the vaccine.
