The Trump Economic Record Looks Better

When running against Donald Trump for president, Joe Biden often made the now-ironic charge that any president who has allowed so many deaths from COVID-19 should never be in the White House. Today, there are more deaths from COVID under Biden than under Trump -- and that is even with the vaccine. But it isn't just on health issues that Trump's presidency is looking so much better and competent in hindsight. Everywhere I go these days, people come up to me and say something like this: "I didn't like some of the things Trump said or the way he acted,

Comments:

I've missed having President Trump in office every day since the election was stolen from him and this country!! BRING BACK #45!!!

Trump was successful (when allowed by bureaucrats and Congressional Republicans) precisely BECAUSE of his brash, in-your-face, rude, and impolite New York style. He ran the country exactly as he did his businesses. Yes, I wished he would have done it all with a little less 3AM thin-skinned Twitter crap because Biden (even cwith cheating) wouldn't have had a chance if Trump hadn't turned off the suburban mommy independents with his style.

I think that as Biden is "forced" to acknowledge even tangentially that he is failing at everything (except the importation of aliens ---) it is possible, even very likely, that his cognitive decline will accelerate, making his decision-making (such as it is) less and less coherent and imperiling us all. No-one really knows what to do now, other than Amendment Twenty-five, should Biden begin to really spin out of control.

Yes #2 but look who is lurking in the background if we go 25th amendment, which IMHO applied to the mentally addled criminal before he raised his right hand to give the presidential oath of office. Yes folks there’s no one and nothing on the bench to help us at the present time.

I believe a lot of DJT’s push-back defensiveness was because he was immediately attacked and labeled “illegitimate” as soon as he was elected. Remember “the resistance” movement? Then he was labeled a Russian agent and falsely accused of the horrible things in the Steele dossier. Investigation after investigation followed. Constantly ridiculed on TV, his SOTU speech ripped up on national tv by that hostile woman, and on and on. He was constantly fighting back. No wonder he was “thin-skinned.” It’s absolutely remarkable to me how much he achieved through it all. Imagine if he had had a normal presidency with the normal bi-partisanship rather than the hyper partisanship that actually occurred?

All the good economic conditions Trump caused are obviously not important to the democrat party, and the democrat party should acknowledge that to the American people.

The only hope is that we have a massive wave in 2020 and get a super majority in the Senate. Then we can undo some of the damage. If we just take the house an senate then the best we can do is keep them from some damage. We have to hang in there until 24. In the meantime there is not much we can do. If you get rid of Biden you get Harris. If you get rid of her you get Pelosi. Boy, wouldn’t that be fun. If you get rid of Pelosi it only gets worse from there. I looked up the sussesion chain and it ain’t pretty.

What you have is one President, Trump, working on behalf of America’s interests and for its people and you have another one, Biden, working on behalf of the far left radical communists and against its people. The difference is stark and it does not take an economist to confirm the country is much worse shape, every American feels it one way or another. I agree #1, President Trump’s personality and way of working did add to his effectiveness. Give me someone who shoots straight from the hip everyday rather than a liar who colors his words in diplomatic and politically correct speech. One thing I would like President Trump to do is remove the word “I” from his lexicon. We know who drove the winning agenda. No need to remind us it was he. Just compare the accomplishments of your administration with Joe’s anti-American focus and gross incompetency. The media was used to having every President kowtow to them and when President Trump didn’t do that and exposed their bias, that stung because they knew he did not respect them and for good reason. The also knew then, he was not afraid of them and that left them livid.

there was nothing, ever, wrong with our President's unforgettable 4 years in office and no future President will even begin to equal, or near, his achievements and I include his Twitter posts. no one, and I mean no one, has ever spoken so much truth to the American people as our President, Donald J. Trump and if you can't listen to, and accept, the truth in what he was saying and, continues to say, you will get exactly the kind of government that you deserve but the bad part about that is, if another diapers or hosingyou obama assumes the office then we all suffer and not just the vacuous brained people who voted for them if people who allow their senses of whatever, to influence their sense of right and wrong, especially in electing someone to the highest office in our country then they need to re-assess their level(s) of judgment and carefully examine the principles of the person seeking that office and not just listen to the words someone is speaking or, in diapers case, yelling at us or, whispering at us into a microphone, only liars yell and/or whisper at people, not someone who is telling us the truth.

Between Joe Biden’s poor poll numbers and his party being increasingly out of touch with the American public, the Democratic Party is widely expected to suffer devastating losses in the 2022 midterms. But prominent Democrat lawyer Marc Elias is predicting that Democrats will try to use litigation to prevent some duly elected Republicans from serving. “My prediction for 2022: Before the midterm election, we will have a serious discussion about whether individual Republican House Members are disqualified by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment from serving in Congress,” Elias tweeted last week. “We may even see litigation.” [Tweet] Dan Gainor of the Media Research Center scoffed at Elias’s absurd idea.

There's an accident in the Oval Office. Not the kind of accident left on the rug in front of the Resolute Desk on a regular basis by the untrained, rowdy dogs the Biden's sicced on the unwitting White House staff and Secret Service. I'm talking about the man who sits behind the resolute desk for his daily naps. Joe Biden is the accidental president. He is the result of an accident of American politics. His presidency will not be remembered with an asterisk, as my friend and fellow Townhall columnist Kurt Schlichter would say. No, it will be remembered... reviled...

Despite President Biden's assurances to the contrary, inflationary pressure is apparently here to stay as his administration looks toward the start of his second year in office and may hope for some relief from the negative "Democrats in disarray" narrative swirling around the White House. However badly Biden may want the economy to improve, Americans surely wish so more fervently. With the most expensive Thanksgiving and Christmas in memory in the rear-view mirror, there are unfortunately more price hikes to come as manufacturers and producers pass the costs of lasting inflation on to consumers. As The Wall Street Journal announced, "Everything from coffee to mustard is getting more expensive next year."

We’ve done a fair amount of coverage on the story of Jared Schmeck — how he managed to troll Joe Biden during a NORAD Santa-tracking call that he and his kids had with Joe and Jill Biden on Christmas Eve by slipping in a “Let’s go, Brandon” at the end of the call. [Video] This caused a meltdown from folks on the left claiming it was somehow so offensive, with many of these folks being the very same folks who, for years, had called President Donald Trump every name under the sun and uttered all types of calumny against him. They weren’t disturbed by “Let’s go, Brandon.”

In this episode of “Republicans Are Racist”… Let’s begin with a basic premise that should be supported by every loyal citizen of every country on the planet: Non-citizens should not be allowed to vote in elections. Period. That should not even be a question. Unless you’re a Congressional Democrat, that is. In that case, undocumented Democrats are your thing. As reported by John Solomon’s Just the News, the issue of “non-citizen” voting first came to a boil big-time at the end of the 2018 Georgia governor’s race, when Democrat Stacey Abrams suggested the “blue wave” of voters she hoped would put in her office included the “documented and undocumented,”

It’s been more than 70 years since this actress has appeared in a movie’s credits — for a good reason. Karolyn Grimes starred in the Christmas classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” as James Stewart’s precocious 6-year-old daughter Zuzu Bailey. The part in the 1946 Frank Capra-directed film changed Grimes’ life, but not necessarily for the better. The now-81-year-old has revealed the tragic reason why she decided to leave Tinseltown. Her departure from the limelight began with the loss of both her parents when she was about 12 years old, she told Fox News. Following her parents’ death, Grimes moved from Hollywood to a small town in Kansas. “At first, I thought I’d died,”

Leaving California for Texas is such a conformist thing to do these days, but I did for a short vacation to America. In Houston, I went into an H.E.B. and was talking about California to someone who was giving away free samples of beef – having conversations with random people is a huge difference from LA – and I had to reassure the guy I was going home. He seemed relieved. I’ve been coming to Texas intermittently for about 30 years, and it’s never seemed more crowded. The place is packed – the roads, the stores, the airport. Back home in LA, it’s empty and depressing

Through December 21, 2021, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported a total of 5,779 unruly passenger incidents this year. Of these incidents, the FAA has launched 1,054 investigations, which is approximately a 600% increase from the annual average of the previous twenty-five years. Historically, factors such as overcrowding, cancellations, and narrow seats cause in-flight incidents. However, this year, the mask mandate, which the FAA instituted on February 1, has been the major factor causing the massive increase in incidents. Despite a multitude of studies showing the ineffectiveness of masks and the potential negative health effects, some airlines are now increasing their restrictions and forcing passengers to wear masks while eating and drinking.
