The omicron variant could give fully vaccinated
people ‘super immunity’

Fully vaccinated people infected with the omicron variant of the novel coronavirus could end up with super immunity to the coronavirus, according to new research from Oregon Health & Science University. The research — published online in the Journal of the American Medical Association — found that breakthrough infections create “a robust immune response against the delta variant.” Researchers said the findings indicate that “the immune response is likely to be highly effective against other variants as the SARS-CoV-2 virus continues to mutate.”

Comments:

Great news if true (which it might be!), provided omicron doesn't make you dead before you develop useful immunity, and provided that that immunity works against other variants.

Or, you could join at least 20,244 people who died because of the shots that don't work, according to federal VAERS data through Dec. 10. Or join the 106,129 people hospitalized, or the 33,675 permanently disabled, or the 10,299 who had heart attacks thanks to the shots that do not work against the virus, but that generate billions of dollars for the manufacturers. https://openvaers.com/covid-data

Total BS. ANY variant which infects a person with a normal, healthy immune system will provide them with immunity that is superior to whatever minor, short term immunity these mRNA shots have provided. Injected or not injected, anyone with a normal immune system gets immunity.just like ANY OTHER virus in all of history. They really do think we are all stupid. Of course, a large enough portion of people ARE, so that kinda works for them.

OP: considering exactly one morbidly obese, other serious health problems, person has died from omicron in the USA, I’d be willing to take my chances. More to the point, there is zero difference between natural immunity acquired after the useless vax and natural immunity acquired after just getting over Covid. My wife just recovered from omicron, and I took care of her and business (kind of, she was really fine and did almost everything). I relied on my previous Covid infection and was just fine.

Jake West was a seemingly healthy 17-year-old when he collapsed during high school football practice in Indiana and died of sudden cardiac arrest. A video widely shared online falsely suggests COVID-19 vaccination is to blame, weaving headlines about him into a rapid-fire compilation of news coverage about athletes collapsing. The vaccine played no role in West’s death — he died from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2013, seven years before the pandemic began. The video is just one example of many similar compilations circulating on the internet that use deceptive tactics to link vaccines to a supposed wave of deaths,

Seven anti-vaccine doctors fell sick after gathering earlier this month for a Florida “summit” at which alternative treatments for Covid-19 were discussed. “I have been on ivermectin for 16 months, my wife and I,” Dr Bruce Boros told the audience at the event held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, adding: “I have never felt healthier in my life". The 71-year-old cardiologist and staunch anti-vaccine advocate contracted Covid-19 two days later, according to the head event organizer, Dr John Littell. Littell, an Ocala family physician, also told the Daily Beast six other doctors among 800 to 900 participants at the event also tested positive or developed Covid-19 symptoms.

Speaking on SiriusXM’s “Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers said: “I’m not an anti-vax, flat-earther. I have an allergy to an ingredient that’s in the mRNA vaccines. I found a long-term immunization protocol to protect myself and I’m very proud of the research that went into that.” Rodgers, who turns 38 on Dec. 2, did not say what ingredient he was allergic to, or how he knows he is allergic.

NEW YORK — Health officials on Friday offered more evidence that vaccinations offer better protection against COVID-19 than immunity from a prior infection. Unvaccinated people who had been infected months earlier were 5 times more likely to get COVID-19 than fully vaccinated people who didn’t have a prior infection, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concluded in a new study. “These data show, pretty strongly, that the vaccines are more protective against symptomatic COVID,” said Dr. Mike Saag, an infectious disease expert at the University of Alabama. Newsom cruised to victory in the recall election Tuesday, boosted by healthy turnout among an overwhelmingly Democratic electorate, ensuring the nation’s most populous state will remain a laboratory for progressive policies. With an estimated two-thirds of ballots counted, the “no” response to the question of whether to recall Newsom was ahead by a 30-point margin.

This Sept. 11, a diminished president will preside over a diminished nation. [Snip] Joe Biden was supposed to be the man of the hour: a calming presence exuding decency, moderation and trust. As a candidate, he sold himself as a transitional president, a fatherly figure in the mold of George H.W. Bush who would restore dignity and prudence to the Oval Office after the mendacity and chaos that came before. It’s why I voted for him, as did so many others who once tipped red. Instead, Biden has become the emblem of the hour: headstrong but shaky, ambitious but inept.
