Another Failed Presidency at Hand

Original Article

Posted By: IowaDad, 9/8/2021 6:45:42 AM

This Sept. 11, a diminished president will preside over a diminished nation. [Snip] Joe Biden was supposed to be the man of the hour: a calming presence exuding decency, moderation and trust. As a candidate, he sold himself as a transitional president, a fatherly figure in the mold of George H.W. Bush who would restore dignity and prudence to the Oval Office after the mendacity and chaos that came before. It’s why I voted for him, as did so many others who once tipped red. Instead, Biden has become the emblem of the hour: headstrong but shaky, ambitious but inept.

Anyone who thought Old Demented would be "the man of the hour: a calming presence exuding decency, moderation and trust." had his head jammed so far up his backside orifice that he had lost all touch with reality. Bite-me as President is being the same as he always ever was as a Senator - a massive screw up. Let’s be clear, Stephens voted for him because he hated President Trump. No sane reasonable person could have watched a moment of Biden’s appearances and believe he could have handled the job. Fools like the author, who actually believed Biden would be a calming spirit exuding decency, moderation and trust are laughable. Biden was a proven plagiarist, liar, racist, pervert, and moron and Stephens knew it. Someone so dishonest deserves nothing but contempt which pretty much defines you both.

Why do these people think that Biden was any different than the dolt he always was? Now he’s worse because he is going Alzheimer’s. They call Trump a demagogue because he demanded that his appointments and Congress do some work and get results, and get them now. Washington wasn’t used to producing quickly but Trump changed that. If anyone noticed, you never heard a Trump employee criticize the man. Biden was doomed to fail from the beginning because he is dumb as a rock to go along with his rigid personality, and his appointments and advisors are just as bad.

Bush's Presidency as "who would restore dignity and prudence to the Oval Office after the mendacity and chaos that came before"---meaning President Reagan. Stephens is so warped that he still has to attack the finest US President in the last 100 years, Ronald Reagan, even after 30 years.

If you could not hide Biden, you sure as heck will be unable to hide Harris. You guys got exactly what you want, and it now hangs around your necks in all its ugliness. You got an anti-American President with anti-American policies, but for some inexplicable reason thought most American voters would love it, and now you find out you are WRONG. The efficacy of ivermectin in preventing hospitalization [SNIP] is unclear. We conducted a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, adaptive platform trial involving symptomatic SARS-CoV-2–positive adults. A total of 3515 patients were randomly assigned to receive ivermectin (679 patients), placebo (679), or another intervention (2157). Treatment with ivermectin did not result in a lower incidence of medical admission to a hospital due to progression of Covid-19.

Russia's Black Sea flagship has been sunk, Moscow's defence ministry finally admitted tonight, after Kyiv officially claimed earlier to have been behind a double-missile strike late on Wednesday off the coast of Ukraine. The Moskva - a huge Soviet-era missile cruiser - sank as it was towed back to port in stormy weather following an explosion and fire, Russian news agencies reported on Thursday. Kyiv said earlier that it was behind an attack that it claimed caused the warship to 'start sinking', as naval analysts said the vessel and its 510-strong crew were left sitting ducks after sailing in predictable patterns within range of Ukraine's coastal missile batteries.

But in addition to giving conservative students migraines because of their constant caterwauling, the frothing radicals want to toss the Constitution tooThey don’t say what we should replace it with. Because that would require actual thought — something the radicals are unfamiliar with. They do a great job emoting and wailing and gnashing their teeth, but when it comes to thinking, it’s as mysterious as Oak Island.

For those who scoff that Florida’s new education law bans “non-existent” gender indoctrination, let the tale of Fairfax County, Virginia serve as a wake-up call. Fairfax County’s school board has long prided itself on leading the way for the nation in cutting-edge education policy and curriculum. As the tenth-largest district in the nation, it holds disproportionate sway over other school boards. In 2015, the Fairfax school board blindsided parents with changes to its non-discrimination policy, followed by a sweeping expansion of the sex-ed curriculum and new rules governing student offenses and penalties.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Sunday that the Biden administration is not to blame for baby formula shortages experienced by American families nationwide. “This is a capitalist country. The government does not make baby formula, nor should it,” Mr. Buttigieg said on CBS’ ‘Face the Nation.’ “Companies make formula. And one of those companies, a company which by the way seems to have 40% market share, messed up and is unable to confirm that a plant, a major plant, is safe and free of contamination.”(Snip)“Gas prices—highest-ever price in the country, [$4.45] a gallon national average. Are you asking Americans to drive less?” Ms. Brennan said.

New Yorkers will have to pay “hundreds of billions of dollars” in higher utility bills due to the state’s “Green New Deal”-inspired plan, according to a top energy regulatory official—who accused lawmakers of hiding the true cost of the bill. John Howard, former chairman and current member of the state Public Service Commission, claimed former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the Democratic-run legislature never leveled with the public on the costs associated with the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act approved in 2019. Howard, during a PSC session Thursday, said local pols “totally obfuscated” the costs of the plan because the sticker shock would have made the initiative unpopular.

White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said on CNN Sunday that he would not serve in that capacity should Donald Trump regain the White House in 2024. Note to Dr. Fauci: Trump would not ask you to serve and would, in fact, probably kick you to the curb his first minute back in office. The top doc, interviewed by Trump-hater Jim Acosta, simply laughed and said, “well, no” when asked if he would work for the Don again. He added: “If you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think, you know, at best, you can say it wasn’t

Should the projections of a Republican tsunami at the midterms prove true, there are so many things that a Republican Congress must prioritize. Not the least of which is revising the civil-service laws to permit removing incompetent and corrupt bureaucrats, cutting drastically the federal bureaucracy and reforming, among other agencies, the CDC, NIH, FBI, and the IRS. I’m focusing now on the IRS, which first hit my radar screen when with no consequences whatsoever. Loretta Lynch’s Department of Justice declined to press criminal charges against Lois Lerner, whose outfit delayed and denied the Tea Party reform groups the tax-exempt status to which they were entitled, hamstringing them against the very
