President Joe Biden will address the nation following the US withdrawal from a 20-year war in Afghanistan, after the last American troops departed from Kabul on Monday night. The nation’s longest war – in which nearly 50,000 Afghan civilians, 2,500 US service members, and thousands of Afghan military, police and Taliban fighters were killed – “has ended,” the president said in a statement on 30 August.

REMINDER: Joe Biden is the type of leader preferred by Liz & Dick Cheney, GWB and many Republicans in the US Senate. They are equally responsible for the events of the last two weeks. May they all die in shame.

He left his mask at the podium, turned, grabbed and actually put it on to walk down an empty hallway.

Anyone else as struck by his defensiveness as I am? And for the umpteenth time, what in blazes does the death of his son have to do with our troops being blown into pieces because of his feckless decisions? Damn his soul…he’s unleashed hell on the world and we’ll all pay a heavy price.

Lies and omissions along with cowardly blame shifting. Yeah blame Trump but don’t say anything about Obama failing to end the war or accept responsibility for failing to follow your commanders advice. Lie like a Biden.

" $333 Million per Day! for 20 Years!!!!, $2 TRILLION over 20 YEARS!!!-Resident Joe Buy-Dem
ya doood, that is $1Trillion every ten years and YOU now want to spend $TEN Trillion this year alone...much of it on infrastructure and social programs EXACTLY the same as you and your Dem friends insisted get implemented in Afghanistan, creating much/most of that expenditure there. "Nation Building/Build Back Better"
your "Pullout" from a mostly secure Afghanistan was of 1/10th the number of US Military you deployed to Wash DC, that took and held the city for 6 full months. What did THAT cost per day???
"CLICK! off goes the TV, I'm going to go out and mow the disabled Vet across the streets lawn instead of watching this scheist"

Punched in the Hannity affiliate on the car radio and heard the part about the primary duty of the President being protection and defense of the country. (Southern border?). Quickly switched to FM and some music.

Afghanistan was not the longest "war" in US history. As Rush used to point out the longest and most expensive IS the war on povetty.
Began in 1964 with a cost of over $20 Trillion and increasing.

Bizzaro World called, they are missing their leader.
Description: Demented, delusional, dried up, imbecilic swamp rat.
This has all the stink of Obama all over it.
They cannot, cannot be allowed to escape this time. No more "Move on" and "What difference does it make now?" We owe it to the memory of those who were abandoned in Benghazi and all who served and died in Iraq and Afghanistan, especially the young kids who were betrayed and died just last week. Justice must be done.

Who do they think they're fooling with their false arguments? They framed his talking points as based on two choices: get out or stay and escalate. Almost nobody thinks we should be staying. Everyone pretty much supported President Trump's plan to leave. It's a completely false argument.
The entire issue is HOW we should leave. And everybody knows it.
The way in which we left was disgraceful! It was completely contrary to our basic American character to never abandon ANY Americans behind. This was cowardly and disgusting And it will forever be a stain on our national character in general and our previously great military.
And as far as I'm concerned, even impeaching Biden and relieving our military commanders wouldn't be sufficient accountability here. Use your own imagination what real American leaders and military heroes from an earlier era would do to adequately address this disgusting situation.

Donald Trump made med do it, blah blah blah, my son Beau was in the military and died, blah blah blah, I ended the forever war, I had to do it, blah blah blah..... Beau... Donald Trump. Best airlift ever in history..... Blah blah blah.... Where are all of those fact checkers who used to check every word that Donald Trump uttered and dispute them no matter what. They all seem to be awfully silent lately.

Bolshevik Biden being 'tough' and 'feisty'.
Just remember the moto of every incompetent everywhere is "Its not my fault!". Its what they whine when they get into trouble. Biden is clearly in trouble, and he knows it. Hence the belligerence and bully tactics.
Reporters need to start asking what meds he is taking, and who is administering them. His 'handlers' had him hyped up. He was high.
The jerk needs to be removed from office. He is clearly unfit, and has failed to uphold his Oath of Office.

I don't think Obama is behind this. This is the same Joe we came to know and hate when he was in the Senate. Obnoxious, stubborn, belligerent. No wonder he hid in his basement during the campaign. He never made it out of Iowa when he campaigned in the past.

Biden congratulates himself on the largest airlift in history. It s almost as big as the airlift to a January Bowl game. Typically, within minutes of hearing that our team has accepted an invitation to a bowl game, we get an email inviting us to purchase an airline ticket. hotel for three nights, a team dinner event, and game tickets. This year I expect to get QR codes sent to our phones for all these events. All well planned, and (usually) very well executed. Maybe the US military needs some football travel agents?
