During his marathon annual year-end press conference Q&A, which this year lasted about four hours, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again vowed to defend Russian society against the intrusion of the corrupted values of the West, in particular blasting the “gender obscurantism” pushed by the United States and Europe. “I am a proponent of the traditional approach that a woman is a woman and a man is a man,” Putin laid out, which it goes without saying also reflects basic Biology 101 and humans’ self-understanding for thousands upon thousands of years. He continued in the remarks on gender: “A mother is a mother, a father is a father. And I hope

We are still in that early stage of the Communist take over where the nation needs to be crippled and punished and enslaved and entombed and jailed and starved. A more mature totalitarian regime can resume lobbying in favor of itself once again. Trump pooped in the punch bowl by advocating for liberty and limited government.

Four hours? Boy Joey couldn't last 4 minutes. Also, Russia shrugged off Marxism while Failed USA embraces it in full; who could have imagined this just a few decades ago. FTA: "As Putin’s comments suggested, the whole trans and LGBTQ++ movement seems to be bound up with US foreign policy abroad. In prior months, Kremlin officials have accused US-based NGOs of intentionally trying to influence Russian society with these “new ethics” – resulting in a crackdown on the degree which they can freely operate. This as Russia has laws on the books that make it illegal to propagandize children on these issues outside of parental consent."

Good luck holding back the woke tidal wave, Vlad. The harder we try to squash it, the more it divides and spreads... kind of the way a religion reacts. Pleased to see my parish is pushing back, and openly -- not trying to finesse acceptance and rejection of wokenness, the way everybody seems to have been doing with LGBTQ+ before it became completely incoherent.

Preach it, Bro. Vlad! Certain prominent people in the US have been watching too many Saturday morning cartoons. You know the kind: gunfire chops character in half in one scene. In the next scene the 'victim' is inexplicably whole, or back to full feathers, or horns or whatever. Characters are often seen in drag, to fool an opponent. Next scene they are back to their original design -- all by the magic of the ink and paint department.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court announced that it will hold a special session in roughly two weeks to hear oral arguments regarding the Biden Administration’s ongoing efforts to force vaccinations on private employees, federal contractors, and healthcare workers, according to Politico. The special session will begin on January 7th, 2022, just several days ahead of the regularly-scheduled session set to begin on January 10th. The decision comes after several high-profile rulings that have produced mixed results with regards to the constitutionality of the vaccine mandates. Biden has ordered three different nationwide vaccine mandates:

Most people, I believe, think that the age of myth-making lies in the past. (snip)Nevertheless, in school, if we went to an artsy one, we learned that myths were important. They told us not about what happened in the world, precisely. Rather, they told us interesting stories about character, motivation, and the dialectic of hubris and nemesis, crime and punishment. All of that is true, but I submit that the impulse to myth-making, if atavistic in origin, remains a potent force and one, moreover, that has been folded into the metabolism of partisan politics.

Joe Manchin has cited inflation as one of his foremost concerns about the bill, while Americans have watched November’s inflation numbers jump to the worst in nearly 40 years. Manchin says he worries BBB’s huge spending provisions could cause America’s already serious inflation problem to worsen substantially. Manchin’s opposition to the act effectively destroys any hope of the bill passing in the near future in the evenly split U.S. Senate. The act is President Biden’s signature policy proposal, and it could prove to be congressional Democrats’ last chance of making good on their promise to impose

COVELO, Calif. — Mexican drug cartels are muscling in on America's burgeoning multi-billion-dollar marijuana industry, illegally growing large crops in the hills and valleys of Northern California. The state legalized marijuana in 2016 for adult recreational use, yet the black market continues to thrive with thousands of illegal grows. Criminal syndicates, in turn, are cashing in across the U.S. on the "green gold rush." They're undercutting prices of legalized products offered by permitted farmers who follow the rules and pay taxes.

The conviction of former Minnesota police officer Kim Potter for manslaughter brought closure for the family of Duante Wright and many in our society. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its top officials are doubling down on criticism of the Great Barrington Declaration after emails showed they quickly moved last year to oppose it. The declaration, penned last year, said lockdowns were producing negative short- and long-term effects on public health, such as lower childhood vaccination rates, fewer cancer screenings, and worsening mental health. The experts who signed on called for focusing COVID-19 prevention efforts on the most vulnerable, particularly the elderly, while loosening restrictions on the young and healthy, who are at little risk of developing severe COVID-19.
