Revealed: A third of America's 43 Omicron
COVID cases had their booster shots as
Fauci says he's 'continuing to evaluate'
whether two shots are sufficient to qualify
as 'fully vaccinated'

Top U.S. infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci has said that authorities are 'continuing to evaluate' whether a booster shot will be required to be considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as new CDC figures show that a third of Omicron cases had booster shots. 'For official requirements, it's still two shots of the mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) and one shot of the J&J for the official determination of what's required or not,' Fauci told ABC News on Sunday. 'But I think if you look at the data, the more and more it becomes clear that if you want to be optimally protected you really should get a booster,'

Comments:

The shots don't prevent people from catching or spreading the disease, but we also know that we need an ongoing series of boosters, limited only by the greed of Big Shot, to prevent people from catching or spreading the disease. "Omnicron" (as Biden calls it) is very mild, but the media hypes it, and so we need even more shots to ease the stress they cause.

But, then again, the pharms wouldn't have made a fortune. fauci blew the AIDS epidemic and now he's blowing this one. In each one people needlessly died. Time for fauci to retire and let brilliant people have their say.

If a third of the population had their booster, then if it did nothing, one would expect a third of the cases to be boosted. I doubt a third of the population has had a 3rd jab which means the booster makes it more likely you will get it not less.

President Biden's Build Back Better bill contains provisions to make child care more affordable, but could have the opposite effect for middle class families, according to a new study. 'The new program would act like a $20,000 to $30,000 annual tax on middle-income families,' Casey Mulligan, economics professor at University of Chicago and Trump-era economic adviser writes in a piece on the study for the Wall Street Journal. Mulligan estimates that by removing financial incentives to offer low-cost care and increasing regulations, the cost of daycare for a middle families could surge 102 to 122 percent.

The Pentagon said Monday that no action would be taken against military personnel involved in the botched drone strike that killed 10 civilians in Kabul as American forces withdrew in August. Seven children were among the dead when a Hellfire missile hit a saloon car mistakenly identified as being packed with explosives in the Afghan capital. U.S. nerves were on edge three days after an ISIS-K suicide bomber killed 170 Afghans and 13 American service members at Hamid Karzai International Airport. At a briefing, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said senior commanders had made recommendations to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin - none of which included holding any officers accountable.

Thousands of migrants clashed with Mexican police Sunday as they approached Mexico City on their northward trek through the Central American country. Approximately 550 police officers were deployed to lead the migrants through the Mexican capital, government officials told BBC News. The migrants were planning to walk to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a well-known pilgrimage site in the city. However, police reportedly blocked the group, telling them they should spend the night at a hostel before moving on. Authorities alleged the migrants attacked first, saying they threw stones and grabbed police shields. Some migrants claimed they felt threatened after being surrounded by the riot gear-clad officers

Two Covid jabs should still slash the risk of dying from Omicron by up to 84 per cent but a booster is twice as good at preventing someone from falling ill, according to official estimates. SAGE modelling published over the weekend worked off the assumption that two Pfizer doses give 83.7 per cent protection against hospitalisation and death from the highly-evolved strain. A two-dose course of AstraZeneca's vaccine was estimated to reduce the risk of severe disease from Omicron by 77.1 per cent. However, both vaccine brands were assumed to wane within three to six months.(Snip)The estimates were presented in modelling by the London School of Hygiene

Pfizer and AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccines are not as effective in fighting off the Omicron variant compared to other strains, according to a new study published Monday. Researchers from the University of Oxford said in the pre-print paper that they had discovered a “substantial fall” in neutralizing antibodies when the Omicron variant was introduced to blood samples 28 days after participants received their second dose of either Pfizer or AstraZeneca’s vaccine. The study, which has yet to be peer-reviewed, discovered that some of the participants “failed to neutralize [the virus] at all.” “This will likely lead to increased breakthrough infections in previously infected or double vaccinated individuals,
