An armed robbery took place overnight Friday into Saturday at a holiday party in a private home in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles — the latest robbery in a city that his shuddering from a wave of violent crime in recent weeks.A man posted on the Nextdoor app. Had a holiday party last night on upper Rimmer. 2 guys entered my home and held 2 of my guests at gunpoint and stole their jewelry and phones. Fortunately no one was hurt. Police report was filed. Supposedly they were driving a grey sedan with one tail light out. Be aware and be safe.

CA is lost. Your only hope is to move to a red state. But if you do, don't vote for Dems.

You voted for it. Had a chance to "recall" and blew it. So sad. Too bad. You get what you vote for. Don't come complaining to me when bad things happen.

Things aren't going so well in Garcettiland. The people you make fun of out here in flyover country never seem to get robbed. Why is that?

You CA clowns couldn’t even fight shy of a useless governor, how in hell do you expect to get crime under cotrol?

It's OK! As long as no one was hurt!

Hey! You anti-California commenters have plenty of crime in your states too! We voted to get rid of Governor Hair-gel, but the democrat vote-counters saved his sorry azz. We Cal conservatives do our best to change the state back, but we’re just swarmed with illegals and Dems here. FYI; I voted straight Republican since ‘67. Now, I see my vote made no difference in last November’s election and in this futile recall. Right now, I just sit tight in my quiet desert domain, and exercise good situational awareness.

This happened in the cultural wasteland of Los Angeles. Expect it to spread to San Francisco before long, thanks to another Soros-funded District Attorney's pro-crime program, and the the three-way attack on law enforcement orgs, of woke policies, vaxx mandates, and defund-the-police politics.

No, California is not lost. That stuff belongs with the wishful earthquake remarks. I have a hunch that this party was posted on Nextdoor, which I would never join. Intended to be a community network, it is an open window into a person’s residence, situation (how many in family? private info), and gabby fools like this guy probably tell all when he’s having a party or going away.
The parties that have resulted in criminal activity on the West Side of LA have so far been thrown by black hiphop types, with plenty of notice to the world that they were happening.
Only the very provincial types believe that this represents California.

An interesting read for the smug. Not a favorite writer, but he hits some nails squarely in this piece:

Great link #11. I wish the woke crowd were forced to articulate their stupid reasoning, 24/7. I am not conceding one inch of this country to slobs who can't figure out what sex they are. I want THEM on the defensive and if it means upsetting a lot of stupid boomer women who are upset that their best days are behind them, so be it. Same goes for the moronic union boys who still think being a union member means their industry won't go offshore overnight. The rest are hysterical children who think they are going to change human nature and share everything, but not the few things THEY have.

Chickens coming home to roost.
Vote for 'free the criminals' type of prosecutors, judges and politicians long enough and all the criminals will be free.
They opened the prisons, and they don't indict anyone any more. And people are sjurprised at this result? Only the very, very stupid are surprised. Anyone with even half a brain saw it coming.

In our town, some folks went into one of the local stores and stole $700 each. The cops couldn't take them to jail because of the law that the city idiots voted for after what a bunch of air head celebrities told them to do.
However, they did have probable cause to search the car. It was summer, early evening, and the parking lot was nice and roasty. The police searched the suspects and the car. Very thoroughly. Everything was removed from the car. The detainees remained standing on the hot asphalt. The deputies took turns sitting in their air conditioned cruiser "checking" on things they found in the car. The spare came out of the trunk. The back seats had to be removed to facilitate the search. Once the deputies had finished the lengthy and thorough search, the suspects were invited to go ahead and re-assemble the vehicle and depart.
This is the part of the state that voted 70% for Trump and against Newsom. The part that wants to leave and elect two conservative senator.
