Democrat politicians are renewing their calls to pack the Supreme Court following the oral arguments in the Mississippi 15-week abortion ban case that has potential to unravel Roe v. Wade. The court is currently made up of six conservative justices and three liberals, after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg — and the liberals are not very happy about it.The court heard arguments in the Dobbs v. Just because Roberts was nominated by a Republican doesn't mean he's a conservative. Slightly off topic but why is it that only Republican presidents nominate justices who then turn on them after confirmation? Democrats always nominate and confirm loyalists.

The answer to your question, poster 1, is how things operate in Washington. You can be the most conservative upright, constitutionslist who has ever walked the Earth... But once you step into politics, you will be tempted, threatened, smeared, and you will discover enemies you never realized you had. That's a lot of pressure. On top of that, your life back to the womb will be investigated, documented and analyzed for weaknesses the Swamp can use to control you. But let's say you're squeaky clean. Your friends and extended family have been recieving the same treatment. Are they all squeaky clean? If not, you will be threatened with the DOJ bringing a HUGE hammer down on your wayward relatives unless you become a Swamp mouthpiece. If you love your family and friends, it's hard. But let's say you have the luck or character to retain your stance this far. Then you have the cadre of Swamp paid liars and actors CREATING evidence to condemn you. Constantly waiting to ounce on any action or remark they can twist to condemn you. If anything, it's surprising how many Pubbies don't turn and become Swamp critters.

We should reduce the number of Supreme Court Justices back to the original six. That way it will take a 2/3 majority to decide anything. If they can't reach a 2/3 consensus then they can send the question back to the Courts of Appeal to until they can.
