Donald Trump's new anti-censorship social-media site has attracted a further $1 billion in investments, the former president announced Saturday. Announcing the injection of cash into his upcoming site TRUTH Social, Trump said: '$1bn sends an important message to Big Tech that censorship and political discrimination must end.'As our balance sheet expands, Trump Media & Technology Group will be in a stronger position to fight back against the tyranny of Big Tech.'The 45th President of the United States previously explained that his plan for TRUTH was to allow users to post 'without discrimination on the basis of political ideology'.

Zuckerberg and the boys grabbed the Tiger by the tail and they really don't know what a very bad decision that was, until they have been totally "suspended"

I'll be there.
I've got 46 hours to go in the facebook can. Didn't say anything particularly incendiary this time but I've been a bad boy for many years and they hate me for it.
Which is funny; FB hates a significant percentage of its users -- not clients and there is a big difference with these sanctimonious hypocritical creeps -- and they nailed me for alleged "hate speech."
I hate some stuff out there, yes, and I'm always open about it. All I did this time is make a playful G-rated comment regarding the difference between women and men as related to cats and dogs.
Been banging on politicians for years and one off-the-cuff comment regarding gender and the FB gnats went into their act. I may never get back in.

As someone who has been in the technology business most of my life, it's been amazing to me that the "Big Left Tech" players have purposely and very publicly not just abandoned but actually made war against 50% of their market. They obviously feel that they have a near monopoly on that market and that those "enemy" customers have no place else to go. They also know how difficult it is to start up, sustain, and grow a company that can seriously threaten their monopoly.
Well, they are about to get their much-deserved comeuppance. Trump is a serious businessman and this looks like a serious business venture with major financial backing. It also has a massive abandoned market waiting to be served. A classic gold mine.
A country founded on the yearning for free and truthful speech cannot be suppressed indefinitely. Godspeed TRUTH Social...and die, Big Left Tech, die. Thank you for self-canceling yourselves.

We desperately need new social media platforms. The Maxwell case, involving wretched, unspeakable debauchery and crimes against children should be the story of the century. Instead, coverage of the Maxwell case is being censored and seems non-existent.
One one of the lead prosecutors is lying Comey's daughter. What are the odds? And I was encouraged when the FBI raided the island; there was tons of video evidence, but now I realize what they were really there for. The judge in the Maxwell case has previously ruled that some of the information could not be released because it was "too impure for public consumption." (?) Plus, Epstein and Maxwell were not the only ones. There were hundreds of other elite predator vipers on that island. And the Biden family owns an island next to Epstein's. Unbelievable. FJB and the FBI.

It will not be enough if all we do is sign on to Trump's social media platform. Nor will it do if we just pause our use of these platforms. We MUST close our Facebook and Twitter accounts. It will be painful - I can attest to the difficulty of the process and the gut wrenching stress of ending the addiction.

Good on you, #2. The fact that FB is so sensive about all types of sexual perversion says a lot about their management. I believe my privileges were removed when I made a Barry and Michelle comment somewhere along those lines.

Another critical thing all conservatives must do is get active in local politics to get America friendly people elected to office.

I dropped facebook last year when accurate quotes from Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly were white screen by some offshore foreigner claiming an editorial in a major newspaper was truth when it was not. Done with their fascism.

TRUTH Social? Pravda means truth. Bet there are some people in Russia with their shorts in a bunch. Unintended consequences. Go after Twitter, and Russia gets caught in the splash.
Gotta love Trump.

Really, TRUTH? Let me know when anyone under 60 uses it as "social media" to keep up with the family. I'm sure the kids will flock to share selfies with their friends. If this is at all based on "politics" it's a loser, soon to be overrun by ranting libs, as they all are.
Does anyone remember "Trud", the press organ of the Soviet All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions? Branding is also important.

If Trump can get this past the Biden SEC and other agencies baying for Trump's blood, I just might join social media for the first time in my life.

The TRUTH is that social media - or, rather, the maniacal obsession with it - is killing our souls.

Ive been posting here for years that we need our own truthful news networks to rival the state media lies of ABC/NBC/CBS and the cable liars CNN/FNC/MSNBC
Cant wait for THAT to happen!
