Chris Christie is wrong: Election integrity matters

Original Article

Elections have consequences. That is why we must have free, fair, and secure elections. In an effort to tee up another failed run for president, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie recently stated that everyone should move on from the 2020 election, criticizing former President Donald Trump.Christie is completely out of touch with voters. Trump is right to focus on election integrity. Election integrity is an important and winning issue for Republicans, especially after the sham election of 2020 and with the fast-approaching elections of 2022 and 2024. Without it, history will repeat itself, and we will lose our country as we once knew it.

Move on to where? If the elephant in the room is ignored you will surely move on to a dead end where the Republic handed to us by our founding fathers, preserved through blood sacrifice by our fathers and grandfathers is finished. Surely the Governor understands.

Fat Christie may be right on one point. The 2022 and 2024 elections won't be run on a campaign slogan of "Trump wuz robbed!" Republicans will have to present a solid case for why they should replace the Democrats and understand that any significant policy changes will have to wait for 2024 election success (and the ability to replace deep state saboteurs). I'm giving President Trump 2021 to rail against the phony election. Next year, his rallies need to focus on what can be done (and what he did) to Make America Great Again - Again (MAGA-A). But insisting on election integrity is an ongoing issue. Elections have been stolen in the past, present, and there are folks working on the future. Problem is, today's election fraudsters are trying to codify their theft into law. And it's the Democrats doing the theft.

Christie continues to grumble and rail against Trump out of the personal anger that he was dissed by Trump. While true, it isn't sufficient to excuse his behavior since Christie's own behavior and attitude even before the election was the root cause.

The #1 reason America is in chaos and corruption is because of sleazy politicians like Christy. Every possible violation to the rule of law and legislative edict happened in 2020. NO ONE has paid for the filthy debauched outright treason. Christy helps move it along.

Christie would be no better than Brandon. He would be in over his head--even without dementia. He will get no more than 5% of the vote in the primary.

Christie's problem is that he is a "go along, get along, Republican." He is perfectly content being in the minority as long as people stroke his "huge" ego. He fails to understand that the fraud of 2020 is the after burner for Trumpsters. Speaking for myself, I cannot wait to vote in 2022 and 2024 and I am giving/supporting more Congressional candiates (directly, not through the RNC) than ever before. Everything is a stake and I DO NOT want to just get along - those days are gone.

I'm glad to see this sentiment voiced somewhere other than my own rants on reddit. This needs a lot more noise from everyone, so much noise the republicans can't ignore it any more. This is a critical important issue and we are letting the psychopath party shout us down with the ridiculous notion that vote integrity is somehow racist. We are going to loose or retain this country base on this issue. Look at who won. The democrats don't even need to worry about issues or politics with this fix in place. Get angry people, get loud or start getting ready for the leftist gestapo.

does he mean move on from trying to decide who the President is, or does he mean move on from trying to understand what cheating occurred and how? Because as to the latter, not going to move on..... The Democrats are muddying the two issues because as to the conduct of elections their behavior is indefensible. So they are muddying the two issues so they can beat up the straw man: should Biden be deposed. Muddying the two issues is a rhetorical strategy and it helps the Democrats cheat again. Gee, Christie didn't know that.

Oral arguments are underway this week at the Supreme Court in the closely-watched case involving the pro-life bill passed in 2018 by the Mississippi state legislature and signed into law by then-Gov. Phil Bryant that – with exceptions – banned abortions after 15 weeks but which did not go into effect due to legal challenges. As Bonchie noted in his write-up, from the way things sound so far, it looks like a majority of the Justices are leaning in Mississippi’s favor. If so, it would effectively nuke Roe v. Wade, a situation which a panicked Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.) recently threatened would lead to a “revolution.”

It should be far too early to be talking about the next presidential election, but between President Biden’s advanced age, his sagging fortunes, and widespread worries about Vice President Kamala Harris’s political competence, the parlor games are already beginning. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who ran an impressive campaign for president as a political underdog, has emerged in the hearts and minds of some Democratic strategists as the favored successor. In reality, Buttigieg, the brainy former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, exemplifies the problems that Democrats are facing in the post-Trump political environment.

It is also the same lie that the abortion industry has built their case on in Dobbs vs. Jackson Women's Health Organization. Women, don't believe this lie. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), no cases of the Omicron variant have been detected in the United States, and the South African physician who first identified it says the variant’s symptoms are mild. Nonetheless, President Joe Biden has executed another of his trademark flip-flops by imposing a travel ban similar to that which he denounced as the “Africa ban” when Donald Trump was president. Meanwhile, the Democratic governor of New York has already used it as a pretext to declare a “disaster emergency” in the Empire State, and Dr. Anthony Fauci is doing his best to scare the bejabbers out of the electorate:

I was also astonished, and correspondingly disheartened, by the alacrity with which people the world over turned themselves into sheep

In the days after the Democratic Party’s collapse in the Virginia governor’s race, party strategists descended on the commonwealth to figure out what went wrong and understand just how bad the national outlook might be next year. What they discovered, largely through focus groups and polling, was even worse than expected. The problems cut far deeper than the failings of their gubernatorial nominee, Terry McAuliffe, or President Joe Biden’s flagging approval ratings. Rather, the Democratic Party’s entire brand was a wreck.

Less than 24 hours after the Congressional Budget Office announced that the “Build Back Better” (BBB) bill will increase the federal deficit by $367 billion, House Democrats passed the $1.75 trillion legislation with no GOP votes. This bill, essentially a far left wish list of climate and social spending boondoggles, will certainly exacerbate inflation if passed by the Senate. Thus the absence of public support for BBB. A new Harvard/Harris poll asked registered voters, “Do you think a $1.5 to $2 trillion dollar social spending bill will lead to more inflation, less inflation, or would it have no effect on inflation?” A majority (56%) answered, “More.”

Roughly 12 months ago President Joe Biden became the first Democratic nominee to win Arizona’s Electoral College votes since 1996. Today, his job approval rating in the state is cratering. In a fresh poll from Arizona polling firm OH Predictive Insights, Biden garnered a 42% job approval rating. The president is doing even worse — 35% — with independents, a key voting bloc in a Southwestern battleground that has evolved into a bona fide swing state. Overall, 55% of Arizona voters disapprove of the job Biden is doing as commander in chief. Biden’s political troubles have not translated into an improvement in the standing of former President Donald Trump.

The full acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse is now in. The result was hardly a surprise to many of us who watched the trial rather than the media coverage. The jury spent days carefully considering the evidence and could not find a single count that was supported beyond a reasonable doubt. In rendering its verdict, the jury fulfilled its core function in our legal system. The jury was designed to protect an individual from becoming the grist of a criminal justice system. As the Supreme Court noted in Duncan v. Louisiana (1968): "Providing an accused with the right to be tried by a jury of his peers gave him an inestimable safeguard

The famous philosopher and mathematician Blaise Pascal once declared that "the only shame is to have none." The problem with shame is it assumes a sense of guilt over one's actions. In the age of rage, there appear fewer and fewer actions that are beyond the pale for politics. Take Adam Schiff and the Steele dossier. While even the Washington Post has admitted that it got the Russian collusion story wrong in light of the findings of Special Counsel John Durham, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is still insisting that he was absolutely right to promote the discredited Steele dossier.

The only human remains found in the La Brea Tar Pits of Los Angeles belonged to a young woman who seems to have been a homicide victim 9000 years ago, again, long before guns were invented.
