System strained as military personnel
seek religious waivers from COVID vaccine

The military’s system of implementing a COVID-19 vaccination order for all those in the ranks is facing unprecedented stress as a historic number of soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines say their faith should allow them to skip getting the shot. The result so far has been a massive logistical headache for Pentagon leaders and an unenviable task for the chaplains who find themselves in the crosshairs. It’s a dilemma that shows no signs of easing as the services’ vaccine deadlines come and go. With the Defense Department mounting an aggressive push to get service members vaccinated and force out those who refuse, sources across military branches said the sheer volume

Comments:

The Pentagon is actively weakening our military so as to embolden our supposed enemies, the Treasury Department is encouraging spending levels guaranteed to destroy us financially, Homeland Security has thrown open the borders to illegal aliens, the State Department is importing as many refugees as possible, the EPA is legislating like mad so we can freeze in the dark, the Department of Education openly teaches a brand of Marxism that reviles White people, the EEOC wants to stick needles in our arms so we may keep making money to pay out taxes, and on and on. Were Russia to invade and overthrow our government, I'm not sure how much I'd care. If anything, that would give people reason to oust the junta and start anew.

A message from your Deep State owners: Dear American people. We need about 30 million (or more!) of you to die...to decrease the surplus population, as Scrooge taught us. Yes, 30 million! Or is it 25? Note to self: text Bill Ayres. Now, we are very disappointed at the progress we are making. Those stinking Chinese! They said this would kill MILLIONS! Anyhow, please line up to bite down on the cyanide capsule, i.e. the Vax. We thank you, and have a nice day!

How can they fairly and legitimately decide that my religious beliefs are not deeply held, or that the basis of my refusal is not legitimate? They are not following anyone's spiritual path except their own, and it is probably very different than someone else's. The entire exercise is bogus, and criminally stacked against the applicant.

It is a constitutional right to declare a religious spiritual exemption and for them to deny it is Unconstitutional. You do not have to prove anything and they can’t investigate you over it.

Read somewhere every human on earth would fit in two Hawaiian islands. I think the scope of the earth, the size, is not fully realized by most of us. If it were up to me, I'd ask China to be more responsible for the billions in their population. They have as many as the rest of the world combined, I think.

Re #8. China's population is about 1.4 billion. The world population is just under 8 billion, so China has about 1/6th of the world's people. As to fitting everyone in Hawaii.....easily, if just standing there. If you have each person get an 18" square plot to stand on, you could fit 136 billion on Hawaii. So, even with a three foot by three foot standing spot, it would be easy. Sleeping, eating and 'other bodily functions' would be hopeless.

Thomas Jefferson is no longer in the room where it happens. Art handlers packed up an 884-pound statue of Jefferson in a wooden crate Monday after a mayoral commission voted to banish the likeness of the nation’s third president from City Hall where its resided for nearly two centuries—because he owned slaves. About a dozen workers with Marshall Fine Arts spent several hours carefully removing the painted plaster monument from its pedestal inside the City Council chambers and surrounding it with sections of foam and wooden boards. They then lowered the massive structure down the stairs leading to the building’s first-floor rotunda with a pulley system

President Biden on Monday will nominate Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell for a second term. The decision, which was announced by Mr. Biden, ended a months-long guessing game about whether he would bow to pressure from his party’s progressive wing and replace Mr. Powell as the head of the nation’s most influential economic body. The president will also nominate Lael Brainard, who was the far-left’s pick to be the Fed’s next chairman, to serve as vice chair. Mr. Biden said he didn’t want to change course from the “remarkable progress” of the economic recovery in the last 10 months.

As RedState previously reported, the vice president and her camp have complained about being abandoned, even blaming racism as a possible factor, while the White House has fretted at Harris’ sheer incompetence and inability to garner support on her own. Harris is clearly a terrible candidate, something she showed during the 2020 presidential primary, but she’s also the heir apparent until Democrats forcibly remove her from that position.
