Eighty looters ransacked a Nordstrom store in California's Bay Area on Saturday night, injuring at least three employees in a raid that lasted less than a minute. The large group, wearing ski masks and carrying crowbars, rushed the Walnut Creek store, stole an undetermined amount of merchandise and fled in their vehicles. During the theft, two Nordstrom workers were punched and kicked, while another was sprayed with pepper spray.(Snip)The brazen robbery comes as Bay Area businesses reduce their hours due to a spate of brazen shoplifting incidents. Locals are also slamming woke San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin over his failure to prosecute thefts.

This kind of thing can ONLY be organized online/whatsap/Insta...get a warrant and track all people involved in the conversations that originated and planned it. Max penalties for all. INCLUDING confiscation of all vehicles used in commission of this crime. Many are high dollar, caddies, Mustangs, Chargers, SUVs...prolly not a single Prius or Volt. Ask the leftist and socialist Democrats and they will tell you that such organized theft is just the “community” calling out for “equity”. A poster above asked, once the real Communists take over such out of control US inner cities, will they continue to allow such mass crime to continue? The answer to that is to look at Communist China, do they allow such lawless in their cities. The answer to that is of course no. So what would occur in the dark age inner city communities is that the perpetrators of such crimes, that is if they were not shot by the Communist police would probably have two choices, either become a voluntary organ donor, or accept transportation to some place in darkest Africa where there are no stores for them to loot. Of course the high end companies who own and operate the stores being targeted have a way out, close their brink and mortar stores near inner-city “communities” and go 100% mail order as the vast majority of their legitimate customers with money would have no problem in making mail order purchases from them.

A "Looters will be shot" directive would stop looting instantly. But Progressive (communist) sheep regard breaking the law with impunity as reparations. So, let's see what happens if all supermarkets and drug stores close up shop in any particular city due to theft of merchandise. Will looters then expand their purview into the suburbs where homeowners have guns to protect themselves and their families and property?

I lived in San Francisco my entire adult life. Left three years ago for the better weather in Palm Springs. I’m ashamed that an English newspaper appears to be better at covering the local news than does the Bay Area media. This article mistakes one thing. The $950 amount needed to make a theft a felony is not a local San Francisco law. It is a state statute voted into law by the weak minded people of California. Still, these brazen thefts only happen in the big urban areas that have elected radicals as Distinct Attorneys.

These communist looters are here to seek and destroy! They do not help anyone but themselves. They run in mobs to intimidate and overpower the innocent, unimpeded by self control, much less by the law. If they really cared for others as themselves, they would devote their efforts to helping others, such as those devastated this very minute by the historic flooding which has overwhelmed the Great Northwest! The alphabets have ignored the plight of those vast areas changed by the floods forever! .....Apparently these lefty mobs and the beltway pols only get their 'news' reports from the sifting/spinning media political propaganda, as they all lust for their own publicity. Thieves are the ones who should be accountable to the law, where ever they ply their lawless acts! 'Divide,' crooks from peaceful society.

For those who do not know this, Walnut Creek is a very posh and expensive city. I do not even think there is a low income area there at all. We bought our first house there. Approximately 168,000 of the 800,000 U.S. COVID-19 deaths could have been prevented by the Covid vaccines, a new analysis finds. The Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) analyzed Covid death data in the U.S., and found that tens-of-thousands of deaths over the past six months could have been prevented if people had gotten vaccinated. They used the death rate among fully vaccinated people—who do occasionally die from the virus despite the overall rarity—and calculated how many unvaccinated people would have lived if they had received the jab. September and October were especially brutal, with a combined 92,800 deaths deemed preventable.

Lawmakers can't agree on how to save college students from years of stifling loan debt. It's an ideological tug-of-war that can't end soon enough for millions of Americans. It's also a fight that's personal for many congressional staffers who work under those members, and who are still paying off the bills for their own educations — with some having paid over decades. An Insider analysis of congressional financial disclosures for 2020 and 2021 found that Congress itself was profoundly affected: About 360 high-ranking staffers owed money on student loans. Dozens of these staffers either work for House or Senate leadership,

A recent survey finds that 67% of vaccinated Americans believe the unvaccinated should pay a “COVID tax” to cover businesses’ pandemic safety expenses, but most business owners and the unvaccinated themselves don’t believe in such fees. Skynova, an invoicing software for small businesses, conducted the digital survey of 1,075 Americans. The firm’s project manager, Joe Mercurio, said the survey reflects a “consensus among people … that unvaccinated people should have to pay precautionary COVID-19 fees when visiting a business” to help cover the costs of personal protective equipment and other materials.(Snip)Higher prices for unvaccinated consumers would amount to “a new tax” to help business owners cover the $132

With Brandon being so terrible, there’s already starting to be some speculation over which Republican will defeat him in 2024. While most Republicans prefer Trump, a substantial number would like to see DeSantis run. That has led to some worries over if the MAGA base will be deleteriously affected by primary in which the two champions of the MAGA agenda are pitted against each other, something Trump has indicated he doubts will happen.Still, however, if the two do decide to run and end up fighting, that could have some serious negative consequences and splinter the most enthusiastic members of the MAGA coalition.

Mayor-elect Eric Adams has tapped Nassau County Chief of Detectives Keechant Sewell as the first female police commissioner of the NYPD — a stunning, close-to-home pick from a field of seasoned top women cops across the country, The Post has learned.“I’m here to meet the moment,” Sewell told The Post in an exclusive interview Tuesday, just a couple of weeks before she becomes the city’s 45th top cop. At a time when the NYPD and the city its officers are sworn to protect are at a crossroads over a sharp rise in street violence and years of anti-cop reforms, her name will join the fabled ranks

President Joe Biden's nominee for the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told the Senate "gender advisers" for combat troops are critical to the United States' success, a position some veterans say is nothing more than a left-wing initiative that distracts from the military's core duties. The revelation came during a Dec. 8 exchange with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D., N.H.), who asked how Adm. Christopher Grady intends to implement "women, peace, and security" legislation within the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "The role of a gender adviser is a way to attack a very significant issue, and if confirmed

More than 1,500 previously classified JFK assassination files have today been made public, including documents about killer Lee Harvey Oswald's contact with a KGB agent two months before the shooting. The files were released at noon on Wednesday by the National Archives, after months of delays by Biden who had promised to make them public but then stalled, claiming COVID backlogs was the reason. Not all of them are now public - some are still being held back for further review by the NSA until next December, a move that has been slammed by members of Kennedy's family.

President Joe Biden headlined the Democratic National Committee's glamorous holiday party on Tuesday night, giving a speech in which he touted his administration's agenda and railed against Republican objection to Democrats' voting rights legislation. He said the GOP was following Donald Trump 'into the abyss' by fueling baseless claims the 2020 election was rigged.'As Democrats, we stand for the people,' his VP Kamala Harris said in her own speech. 'And we will fight for the people.' Hours after speaking to a 400-person audience full of top Democrats and DNC donors the president struck a more somber tone in a statement memorializing the 800,000 Americans who have died of COVID-19 so far.

Experts have pushed back against claims that this weekend’s tragic tornadoes in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee can be clearly linked to manmade climate change. (snip) professor and climate economist Richard S.J. Tol of the University of Sussex explained why it is so difficult to connect weather events on the scale of a tornado to shifts in the Earth’s climate. “Tornadoes are small, rarely more than 3 kilometers in diameter. The most advanced climate models, however, cannot see things that are smaller than 9 by 9 km. Climate models can therefore tell us very little about tornadoes,” (snip) “Data are not great, but suggest that there is no upward or downward trend
