Pictures of Normandale Elementary School in Edina show students eating their lunch outside with hats, coats and mittens on. "Since the beginning of school, I learned that essentially if you brought a lunch from home, you were eating outside," said Carissa Palm, the mother of a third-grader at the school. (snip) Edina Public Schools says outdoor lunch is an element of its COVID-19 mitigation strategy and says it is optional. But 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS found it is not optional at all schools.

Comments:

Edina is the wealthiest suburb in Minnesota.. looks like their publik skoolz and their administrators need a 500 million dollar lawsuit..

My god the stupid runs wide and deep up there. Covid sandwiches. Jeez. We have been in full swing, no masks. I am not aware of one student who has contracted the bug. Adults have had it (me included) and all have recovered.

Absolutely no way this should be allowed. It sickens me the abuse heaped on our children lately, even infants. They should never have been made to wear a mask nor should they be given those destructive vaccines.

No concerns about pneumonia, flu, bronchitis, colds or frostbite. Edina used to be conservative as can be. But not anymore. They went full commie years ago. So, that explains their insane behavior.

I grew up in Edina. Something tells me there is more to this but whatever. My experience was that Edina kids generally were tough, smart, squared away, hard working, no-nonsense, generous and resilient. Our teachers were the same way. The “cake eater” reference is and has always been obnoxious and Every Day I Need Attention is true of a mass of the young generation today. Probably because so many future leaders are groomed there Edina schools have been under Marxist attack since 1969. I know because I was there and experienced their “reset” which consisted of new young teachers brow-beating us about our wealth and leftists coming into school assemblies to tell us how to breed (two kids at most) how to think and to despise ourselves for our privilege. It was the top of the spear and we didn’t know enough to resist.

So what's the real story? Does the school receive more cash from the district if all students buy a school lunch? Is that why they are punishing the kids who bring a lunch from home?

I'd bet a Brass Figlagee that they want to force kids to eat the school provided lunch because it's more $$$ in their budget, AND they get one of Moochell's healthy school lunches.

Researchers with Boston University have developed a strain of COVID-19 that killed 80 percent of mice infected with it, according to a preprint study released last week, prompting concern and condemnation. The team of researchers extracted the Omicron variant’s spike protein, which they noted has “an unusually large number of mutations.” The researchers then attached Omicron’s spike protein, which is a structure that allows a virus to bind and invade human cells, to the original Wuhan COVID-19 variant that reportedly emerged in late 2019. They dubbed it “Omicron S.”

Researchers at Boston University say they have developed a new COVID strain that has an 80% kill rate following a series of similar experiments first thought to have started the global pandemic that began in China. The variant, a combination of Omicron and the original virus in Wuhan, killed 80% of the mice infected with it, the university said. When mice were only exposed to Omicron, they experienced mild symptoms. The research was conducted by a team of scientists from Florida and Boston at the school's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories.
