Ulta may be regretting whatever marketing “genius” came up with this idea. In a recent post on Twitter, Ulta highlighted a podcast with two grown men in makeup and wigs chatting about what it’s like to be a “girl.” The makeup giant’s target audience is obviously women. It’s probably a safe bet that over 90% of Ulta’s customers are women. The choice to put men in drag in the marketing material for a company geared toward women is backfiring big time. #Womanface and #BoycottUlta are trending on Twitter, and the ratio of angry women telling Ulta they’re taking their business elsewhere is off the charts. It is true that I wasn’t particularly impressed with Lake’s recent response to repeated questions about whether she would accept the election results if she loses her election — especially considering how well she handles this subject other times.
When Lake has been asked about being an “election denier,” she quickly makes the reporter regret it. It’s actually amazing that the media hasn’t learned to stop asking that question. But alas, they still think they’ve found the ultimate gotcha question. They simply don’t count on Lake having the receipts to prove that, when it comes to denying election results, Republicans can’t hold a candle to Democrats, who routinely question election results

Utah Senate incumbent Republican Mike Lee took on independent challenger Evan McMullin on Monday night. Some in the local media were touting the event as McMullin’s last chance to make an impression on voters and were calling the debate for Lee two hours before the event. Lee was forecasted to have an information advantage, but there was some speculation that, since he tends to be loquacious, this would act in McMullin’s favor if he was able to utilize sound-bite answers that could have audience appeal.

Two more people have pleaded guilty in the narcissistic soap opera that is January 6, this time a Utah father and his son. Salt Lake City’s Fox affiliate, KSTU is reporting that Eagle Mountain, Utah, resident Bradley Bokoski and his son, Matthew R. Bokoski, of Chicago, both pled guilty to the misdemeanor of, and I quote: “parading, demonstrating or picketing on the Capitol grounds.”
Sentencing is set for January 17.
Parading? Is that really a thing? Are the navel-gazers in the Rotunda so hard up for convictions that they are tapping people for the misdemeanor of “parading?”

A jury on Tuesday found Russian national Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source of the anti-Trump dossier, not guilty on all four counts of making false statements to the FBI.
The charges had been brought by Special Counsel John Durham, who is investigating the origins of the FBI's original Trump-Russia investigation.

According to a recent report in ClickOrlando, two robbers were shot and killed when they tried to rob a jewelry store in the Magin Mall in Orlando, Florida.
The attempted robbery, which happened at around 11:45 in the morning, was conducted by four attempted robbers, so the police are still searching for the remaining two.
Of the two suspects who were shot, one was killed at the scene of the attempted robbery and so police had to do no searching for him.
The other one who was shot got in the car with the two other surviving suspects and drove off but, according to ClickOrlando, he was found in the abandoned vehicle
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Tuesday that the Jan. 6 committee's subpoena of former President Donald Trump is imminent.
Speaking at a forum at Harvard University, Cheney stressed the subpoena, which the House select committee approved unanimously last week, is for Trump's testimony and for documents related to events surrounding the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
"So we'll be issuing a subpoena shortly, both for his testimony under oath as well as for documents. And we'll take whatever next steps we have to take assuming that he will fulfill his legal obligation and honor the subpoena, but if that doesn't happen, we'll take the steps after that," Cheney said.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that she dismissed a poll saying Americans’ top concerns going into the November midterm that Americans are most concerned about inflation and crime.
Mitchell said, “Let’s talk about rising inflation concerns along with crime, giving momentum, new momentum to Republicans after the Democrats were closing the gap, the historic gap. I’ll bet they are. The problem for Democrats, however, won’t just revolve around their deeply unpopular Demagogue in Chief and the albatross he’s hung around their necks. After the smoke from the midterm referendum on Joe Biden clears, the party will have the same problem they had in 2020, 2016, and every midterm in the past dozen years except 2018.

FBI whistleblowers have revealed that the bureau has “voluminous evidence” of possible criminal conduct by President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, according to a top senator.
“Based on recent protected disclosures to my office, the FBI has within its possession significant, impactful and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) told FBI Director Christopher Wray and other officials in a letter dated Oct. 13.
James Biden is the president’s brother.
Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, has been approached by a number of whistleblowers in recent months about how the bureau has handled its investigation of Hunter Biden
