Two Minnesota teens received a settlement for $80,000 from the federal government because of their treatment at Texas Border Patrol facilities in 2019. FIVE EYEWITNESS NEWS sat down with the sisters who say they’re still healing from the abuse and mistreatment. (snip) In June of 2019, the girls, who were 14 and 16 at the time, crossed the Mexico border seeking asylum, hoping to reach their mom in Minnesota. They were arrested by border patrol. In the Texas border facility, the sisters say they did not have access to water or enough food. In some cases, they say they were forced to play games to be fed.

They are not Minnesota teens. They are illegal trespassers and should be deported with their mother.

So mom was okay with two very young girls making the trip alone? Why did she leave them and who did she leave them with? That should have been the focus of this onslaught of illegals from the beginning.

Doesn't look like these two illegal aliens have missed any meals in their lives. Deport these illegal aliens, take back the 80k and don't forget to deport their illegal alien Mom as well. As for the commie democrat so-called reporter well deport her as well so she can be with her beloved Illegal Aliens. That's our 80k by the way that was given to these two beasts. Rude treatment if true but they should not have crossed the border. They committed the crime. I can see where the frustration of the Border Patrol caused by dealing with thousands of these people might cause them to become irritable. Maybe mom moved all the way up to Minnesota because she could not afford to feed them any longer.

So the two girls are abandoned by their mother and left in Mexico. Then, they are taken illegally into the US where they end up in a facility for unaccompanied minors. Then, they are reunited with their mother, who is living in Minnesota, illegally, so they too can live in the US, illegally. Because of this, they sue the US for $80,000 each for their pain and suffering and actually get the money? I'm sure their pain and suffering was immediately cured once the checks cleared. Welcome to the USA where you can become fat and rich (literally in the girls case) overnight by doing all of the wrong things but having a good sob story and the rich activist group fight for you. No deport the girls and their mother along with their $160,000 back to where they came from where they can live like princesses for a long time with their found money.

All indications now are that the Democrats are finally about to pay for using Trump hate as a substitute for governing for two years, just as for four years prior to that they used Trump hate as a substitute for normal opposition. The entire fabric of myths, frauds, and defamations that the national political media have conveniently held up as a safety net for the Democratic Party and this terribly incompetent administration is about to disappear, and the Democrats will finally carry the can for 14 years of incompetence and venality—

At this point, it would save everyone time if Democrats could simply point to a policy agenda item that isn’t going to save democracy — if such a thing exists. If Republicans vote, they are killing democracy. If they don’t vote, they are killing democracy. The only way to “save democracy,” writes The Washington Post’s Max Boot, is to empower one-party rule — a position that probably sounds counterintuitive to anyone with a middle-school education. “Now you need to vote to literally save democracy again,” contends President Joe Biden, or we will lose our “fundamental rights and freedoms like the right to choose, the right to privacy, the right to vote

Nearly half of all vote-by-mail ballots in Pennsylvania had already been cast before Tuesday night’s U.S. Senate debate, which was judged a disaster — even by Democrats — after Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D), recovering from a stroke, struggled to form coherent sentences. Fetterman had sought to avoid a debate, and his campaign has restricted his public appearances.. When he finally agreed to one, Democrats sought to delay the debate until ballots were already being cast by mail, since Democrats are more likely to use that method and more of the party’s vote would already be cast.
