Nearly a year into the Joe Biden presidency, enthusiasm has reached such a nadir that former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) has suggested the aging politician may not seek reelection come 2024. Speaking with the New York Times about the Biden administration’s efforts to bolster Vice President Kamala Harris’s approval, Dodd, who worked alongside Joe Biden in the Senate for 28 years and who served as a member of the Biden campaign vice-presidential search committee, said that the president “might not” seek reelection. “I’m hoping the president runs for re-election,” Dodd said.

Former Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann – who famously settled a defamation suit against CNN – thinks Kyle Rittenhouse should sue news outlets to "hold the media accountable" after liberal pundits rushed to judgment on his case.

Twelve jurors on Tuesday began deliberations in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in a Kenosha, Wisconsin, courtroom after hearing final arguments on Monday.
The 18-person jury is made up of 10 women and eight men, including one male person of color; the 12 jurors selected to decide on the final verdict include seven women and five men, including the male person of color. Forty-five minutes into deliberations the jury asked for 11 copies of jury instructions, particularly pages 1-6 pertaining to self-defense.
The outcome of the state’s charges against Kyle Rittenhouse is now in the hands of the jury, and ahead of a possible verdict, authorities in Kenosha are asserting they are prepared.
“The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department and Kenosha Police Department understand and recognize the anxiety surrounding the Kyle Rittenhouse trial,” said a statement released Tuesday by the agencies. Authorities added that they currently have no reason to close roads, enact curfews or ask the community to modify daily routines.

Earlier this year, the Texas Health and Human Services department (HHS) made monoclonal antibody treatments available to COVID patients following its Emergency Use Authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in February.

U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz said this week that Anibal "Tony" A. Perez died Nov. 5. The exact cause of death was withheld for privacy reasons.
