Herd Immunity Against COVID-19 ‘May
Not Be Possible’: CDC

Original Article

Herd immunity against the virus that causes COVID-19 may be impossible to reach, a federal health official said in little-noticed remarks earlier this month. “We would discourage a strict goal of a threshold where we think if we reach that, that community transmission will then cease,” Dr. Jefferson Jones, a medical officer on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 Epidemiology Task Force told a panel of the agency’s vaccine advisers. “I think thinking that we will be able to achieve some kind of threshold where there’ll be no more transmission of infections may not be possible,” Jones said.

Comments:

Throwing in the towel. Finally. After scads of noted doctors, epidemiologists, virologists and other noted -ists said that it would never be eradicated.

This thing would disappear if they made everything optional. And companies or businesses could not ask you or require any sort of vaccine. Same goes for local and state Governments. Then stock the hospitals with Ivermectin and HCQ. It would go away on it's own. It's time we move on with our lives.

As long as they keep jabbing the population with a leaking "vaccine" poster is right. We will never reach herd immunity with the vaccinated spreaders out there.

Herd immunity is impossible with their useless 'vaccine'. There is ample evidence that the 'vaccine' does not prevent a person from getting infected and transmitting the disease to others, vaccinated or unvaccinated. The data is unclear whether the 'vaccine' more commonly reduces symptoms or makes them worse (ADE), each seeming to occur in some patients, and CDC jiggering the data do confuse matters and cover up vaccine failures. It is perfectly possible to attain herd immunity if people 1) have pre-existing immunity to this coronavirus, probably from having had another similar coronavirus in their previous infection history or 2) get infected with this coronavirus and recover, thereby getting a long lasting, likely lifetime, immune system protection from this disease. Re item #1 above, don't scoff at natural immunity, it seems to be quite high: The data from the inadvertent experiment on the Diamond Princess cruise ship indicates that 80% of well over 3,000 people who were together on a cruise, dancing, drinking, dining, gambling, buffet lines, movie theaters, etc for just under two weeks with the infection on board and NO precautions at all (this was before the disease was even known to exist) did NOT get the disease. This event, in Feb-March 2020 is almost totally ignored, yet shows that there is a large swath of pre-existing immunity out there. This inadvertant experiment wasn't ideally set up, being an accident, so the age distributions are not uniform, few children, and lots of workers in the 20-40 age group and lots of passengers in the 55+ age group. But it was a lot of random people and overall 80% did not get the disease after two weeks of fairly intimate social contact in a relatively closed environment. Even in the 80+ age group, 75% did NOT get the disease. Interesting data look here. Break out by age groups, with bar charts. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2020/03/16/diamond-princess-mysteries/

The governement is changing the definition of herd immunity. The term, historically, meant a slowdown/rate of new infections of a particular disease. No one believed that the diseases would disappear forever. When it comes to the CDC, we are in Alice in Wonderland territory. We should call it Fauci in Blunderland territory,
