Vaccine Update: Why ‘The Party of Science’

No, the Democrats—aka “The Party of Science”—did not flunk high school biology. Between grade inflation and “woke” stupidity, nobody flunks much of anything in high school these days. But there is another explanation why they—and even the vaunted Dr. Anthony Fauci—act as if natural immunity is not the best immunity against COVID-19 as it is against so many other illnesses, including childhood ones. In case you did miss high school biology and have been living under an Everest-size pile of rocks, natural immunity is what you have via antibodies after an illness ends that prevents you from getting that illness again.

Comments:

The article includes a conversation with Tennessee Rep. Diana Harshbarger who was a compounding pharmacist for decades and has some good insights. She is fighting the Biden administration on several medical fronts including introducing a bill to force the federal government to acknowledge natural immunity

The "Party of Science" disdains natural immunity because they are the Party of Money, and there is zero profit in natural immunity. - no record profits for Big Pharma, - no lobbying payoffs for congressmen, - no medicare rebates for hospitals, - no research grants for medical researchers.

An Everest sized pile of pay wall fell on me so I couldn't get through the article. But my opinion (everyone has one, just like...) is that there's something in the GTA that we are supposed to have in our bodies, and it has NOTHING to do with immunity. A poison, a marker, a tracer, an on/off switch, who knows. But every last person has to have the shot no matter what. Personally, I think Bill Gates will get his dream of world depopulation so he won't have to put up with is much longer. Have y'all noticed how a lotta people are dying lately? 82% of British covid deaths are fully vaxxed. Our CDC doesn't collect that stat.

In response to Vaccine Karen… if it was actually a vaccine there might be numbers showing that, but it’s not a vaccine. It’s a death jab, killing and maiming people left and right as the government, people like you, and the media work full time to cover it up. I now have multiple friends in various states of dying, who were vital and healthy prior to this jab. So, crawl back in your hole.

Something nefarious about The Shot, and they want whatever harm it will cause to be inflicted on the maximum possible number of humans. I suspect infertility is their goal. The leftists and ecocrazies have been telling us that humans "are the biggest world problem" for decades. I am afraid that they have decided to take direct action to prevent humans from reproducing.

Beware of the "Natural Immunity" plea. The narrow definition of natural immunity being touted as people who've had active cases of COVID. This can be cynically used in the same manner that "Not FDA approved" was used. Remember how jab resistance was justified by many by the 'Not FDA approved!' argument. That argument was used against resistors by shortcutting and politicizing FDA approval (admittedly of a vaccine that's not being used) and immediately imposing mandates after the FDA caved. If the VAX brownshirts concede that naturally immune people are protected and don't need the jab, then they will conclude that they have the authority to demand that you prove you are naturally immune by showing documentation that you had the disease, or by demonstrating by an antibody test that you have antibodies. If you can't, then they will declare themselves justified in mandating the jab. Antibodies are transient and only detectable for a few months. Someone who had a mild case of the disease months ago will probably not have detectable antibodies in their system. Therefore they are incapable of proving they had the disease and therefore must succumb to 'scientific' moral authority. Don't settle on a narrow definition of 'natural immunity' as another hill to die on. The only valid argument for not getting the jab must be "I am a free American and I have a right to weigh the risks and take appropriate actions regarding my health and well being!"

Natural immunity is the body's expression of the principle of learning from history so as not to repeat its mistakes. And rejecting that whole dynamic as White Supremacist led the Woke Yoke to tear down Western Culture's monuments and REVISE our history, to avoid learning from it in hopes that when we do make the same mistakes, they can steer towards their own benefit and emerge on top. In short, from the Woke viewpoint, natural immunity is racist. (And that realization would make me laugh my ass off if it weren't so tragically idiotic.

Dems do not believe in actual science. They have a bludgeon with the word "Science" written on it that they use to beat and punish anyone who disagrees with their totalitarian leftist policies. THAT is their "Science", just a tool to hammer opposition, never an actual way to discover new truths, by discarding old ideas found to be wanting.

In medieval days, before there were secular dramas, there were roving bands of semi-professional actors performing morality plays. The plays were often short and sometimes even farcical. Plots were designed to encourage moral choices or illustrate Biblical stories. (Snip) Today, we have criminal trials as national entertainment. They usually take days and too often devolve into farce, as did the Kenosha trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, fumbled by the prosecutors (looking so much like Laurel and Hardy) trying the 17-year-old hero for shooting two felons to death and wounding a third man during a days’ long riot, arson and looting.

After years of steadily accumulating power, 2021 is the year that Big Tech well and truly flexed its muscle. (Snip) Yet with all the focus on censorship of big names, conservatives risk forgetting about an all-important right in today’s tech-dominated age: The right to anonymous speech. Revolver readers don’t need to be told that it’s more dangerous than ever in America and the West more broadly to voice an opinion at odds with the official, regime-sanctioned one mandated in Washington. In one of the bluest states in the nation, voters soundly rejected proposed changes to election law that congressional Democrats are trying to impose nationally. New York state voters voted “no” on Democrat-supported amendments to the state Constitution, pitched as “voting rights” measures, that would have expanded absentee voting, allowed same-day voter registration, and changed the rules on drawing legislative districts.

As they learn more about social and emotional learning (SEL) with its data-mining, parents are in an uproar. They're demanding an opt-out and deletion of all stored data. Some believe that if we can stop the leftward lurch of America, we can "turn our schools around" and use SEL as it was "initially intended." But was the initial purpose of SEL really to teach appropriate social behavior and support "mental wellness" and "management of emotions," or is there a sinister underside?

The banning of Native American (American Indian) depictions for sports teams gets a lot of press, most famously the Washington Redskins renaming themselves the Washington Football Team. There’s a side to this issue that I had not thought of, but is argued in a lawsuit just filed in Colorado. That when the government is involved in such name bans, it is discrimination against American Indians because it deprives them of the ability to have things named after them. It is, according to the argument, the worst form of cultural appropriation, more like cultural depravation. In Colorado in 2021, legislation was passed banning the use of American Indian mascots, broadly defined.

The leading U.S. manufacturer of xylitol-based products says the federal government is deliberately trying to conceal a nasal spray it developed that it says has been scientifically proven to be effective in treating and preventing COVID-19. The U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit in federal court against Utah-based company Xlear on Oct. 28, saying it has deceptively advertised its nasal spray as a treatment and preventative of COVID-19. The lawsuit asks a federal court to permanently ban the company from promoting the nasal spray as a treatment for COVID-19 and also asks that monetary penalties be levied against it.

Congressional Democrats have released a third version of their big government socialist Build Back Better Act. Compared to the previous draft, the newest version adds another 450 pages, resulting in a 2,135-page plan for a reckless tax and spending spree. We asked analysts from The Heritage Foundation to examine what is in the updated bill text. Here are their responses: Version 3 Updates • A federal takeover of family leave policies, which would provide the highest benefits to those with the highest incomes. • Imposing government price controls that would allow for less access and fewer choices to life-saving treatments.
