This week’s decision on who to select as our top knucklehead was not an easy one, as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) provided stiff competition (pun intended, and more to follow) for this week’s honoree. But Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Binger – who has led the prosecution’s murder case against Kyle Rittenhouse – has made the trial look more like an episode from the 1980s sitcom “Night Court” than a high-profile trial receiving national attention. And speaking of TV lawyers, do you suppose Binger graduated from The University of America Samoa Law School like Jimmy McGill from “Better Call Saul?”

This week, the Kyle Rittenhouse trial heated up as more and more details came out about exactly what happened that night.
In true Tucker Carlson fashion, he had a hilarious and sarcastic take on the trial, especially when it comes to Joseph Rosenbaum, a chid rapist who attacked Rittenhouse that night last summer.
“The trial confirmed exactly what happened, and here are the facts about it. A convicted child rapist called Joseph Rosenbaum was released from a mental hospital and then went directly to join the mob that was burning downtown Kenosha. Once he got to the riot, Rosenbaum saw Kyle Rittenhouse and immediately threatened to kill him,” Tucker explained.
Newly released footage of the Ashli Babbitt shooting has been obtained and released by Judicial Watch. The footage is part of the 14,000 hours of documented surveillance video that the FBI and Capitol Police have refused to release to the public.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has quietly acknowledged that far more people have natural immunity than was earlier reported. The CDC quietly acknowledged that a staggering 146.6 million people have been infected by the Sars-CoV-2 virus and have survived it.

On Wednesday, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) who two months ago survived his recall election, extended the COVID state of emergency yet again. It will now extend until March 31, 2022, which is a full four and a half months from now, and a little over two years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic.

As it is with “medical expert” commentary, the state of legal analysis in the media is absolutely dire, as we’ve noted here previously.
One big reason why is thanks to the strong political biases of legal analysts like CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin. While it’s not necessarily a bad thing to be a politically opinionated legal analyst, what is wrong is allowing your biases to cloud your judgment as to the specific facts of the cases/trials on which you’re being asked to provide comment and analysis.

Biotechnology company Moderna Therapeutics has officially begun large-scale testing of its experimental COVID-19 vaccine on America’s youngest children.
As of “late October,” Moderna’s clinical trial – dubbed KidCOVE – kicked off phase III, which tests the controversial mRNA vaccine technology on children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old. It will be conducted across 79 locations in 13 states and involve about ~13,250 participants in total.
Phases I and II of the trial, which tested on 12-17-year-olds and 5-11-year-olds – respectively, were completed over the past several months.

Watching the news, one sees constant stories about COVID numbers rising, yet again, now almost two years into this pandemic, with COVID hospitalizations in some states higher than they have ever been except for the spike last December. In my state of Colorado, the test positivity rate is almost 10 percent, with 1 in 48 infected and if the current trend continues, this will be the worst COVID spike the state has seen.
