Buttigieg’s star rises as $1T Biden agenda shifts

WASHINGTON — Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary who holds the purse strings to much of President Joe Biden’s $1 trillion infrastructure package, was holding forth with reporters on its impact — the promise of more electric cars, intercity train routes, bigger airports — when a pointed question came. How would he go about building racial equity into infrastructure? The 39-year-old former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate laid out his argument that highway design can reflect racism, noting that at least $1 billion in the bill will help reconnect cities and neighborhoods that had been racially segregated or divided by road projects. CORRECTIONS*

Of all the incompetent, obnoxious dumpster fires populating this national nightmare of an Administration, Buttigieg tops the list. Hopefully, Jesus will return first and we'll be spared.

Yes, please build your campaign platform on racist roads, $150K electric vehicles, white supremacy, and global warming (sorry, climate change). Even Chris Christie would poll better.

I have a friend, who is gay, who expressed high hopes for "Mayor Pete" as a potential future President. I pointed out to him that "Mayor Pete" had never done anything more than run a small city, and had failed miserably in the primaries. Out of respect for my friend, and because there were no solid facts available about whether or not "Mayor Pete" had any competence or not, I told my friend that he should wait to see what "Mayor Pete" does going forward before getting excited about him. I suspect that the Democratic establishment feels the way my friend did (and probably still does) and hopes to make him their candidate in 2024. I think that they are making a serious mistake in bringing him forward so far before 2024. I think he will prove to be no more competent than Kamala, and bringing him into the spotlight now will reveal that.

Buttigieg has already gone supernova by being awol in a major transportation crisis so he could help his husband take care of a baby. There is no putting that cloud of cosmic dust back together. Gushing like this has not been seen since the glorious reign of the Obamas, who were also worthless and inept - but I consider the source.

The ONLY thing that Buttigieg has going for himself is that he is gay. Something that he brought up at every opportunity. I said it in 2020, and I'll say it again...............Black American men will not vote for this pillow biter. He's also not going to get the Gay Republican vote. ...... which is a much larger group than many would believe.

There were two horrifying mass shootings recently, but our media are fixated on only one — the one in El Paso, Texas — because the shooter, Patrick Crusius, issued a “manifesto” that contained some of the same arguments made by Trump about illegal immigration.
