Beto O’Rourke is running for governor, challenging Republican Greg Abbott in a clash of two of Texas’ biggest politicians. “I’m running to serve the people of Texas, and I want to make sure that we have a governor that serves everyone, helps to bring this state together to do the really big things before us and get past the small, divisive politics and policies of Greg Abbott,” O’Rourke said in an interview with The Texas Tribune. “It is time for change.” The former El Paso congressman, 2018 U.S. Senate nominee and 2020 presidential contender said he was running for governor to improve public schools, health care and jobs in Texas.

He probably envies Mayor Pete who checks a box he can't. Poor Beto simply reeks of desperation, doesn't he?

Dumb move 2022 is going to be a Red Tsunami. This whatever his real name is’ second statewide loss. He will become permanently damaged goods. Of course he is not even guaranteed the nomination- the prospects in the Democratic Party are not good for White Males - you will start to see less and less of them in office.

#6, the governor of Oregon presented herself as bisexual, based on her having once dated a lesbian in college. She is, however, married to a man. Perhaps the fake Mexican can do the same. But what happened to Dementia Jo's promise that Beto would be his gun control czar?? Was that an empty campaign promise, or the forgotten ramblings of a confused old man?

Wait, "two of Texas’ biggest politicians"? The Governor and a previous, (one of 36) Representative who failed to even become a Senator or hold statewide office? My, the bar for "biggest politicians" is low for a faied Democrat. I doubt the 'journalist' fanboy is even aware of how absurd he sounds.

Since August, when the debacle in Afghanistan ripped away the veil and enabled many to see the real Joe Biden — not through an approving media filter — we’ve seen a cratering of his approval across the board on all major issues. Media may have been able to spin up until that point but once Americans saw how incompetent he was, how he lied about everything, and most importantly, left Americans and Afghan allies behind — many of whom are still there — it wasn’t something they could unsee and it opened many eyes about the “experience” of Joe Biden. That may be behind the reason

he nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has effectively declared that President Joe Biden, Co-President Ron Klain, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi are liars. Coincidentally avoiding discussion of catastrophes in the Middle East and along our southern border, Biden, Klain, and Pelosi have long insisted their Build Back Better social welfare boondoggle “costs nothing.” Sane counter-arguments from sentient conservatives, explaining how the bill costs way more than nothing, have proven correct. “The White House has begun bracing lawmakers for a disappointing estimate from the budget office, which is likely to find that the cost of the overall package will not be fully paid for with new tax revenue over the coming decade.

Rarely does anything in the news surprise me anymore, but consider today’s happenings an exception. In an explosive development, a whistleblower has delivered an email to Congress proving that Attorney General Merrick Garland lied under oath while testifying on Capitol Hill some weeks ago. As RedState reported at the time, Garland’s statements surrounding the targeting of parents as “domestic terrorists” simply did not add up, with his mix of denialism and unwillingness to address the issue only adding to the suspicion that the DOJ had and continued to act improperly. Now, these new documents deliver a decisive blow to Garland’s previous assertion

For two months, I have argued that Joe Biden’s disgraceful abandonment of Afghanistan and several thousand Americans provided the catalyst for a confidence-crisis cascade. The Hill’s Alexander Bolton reports that the Democratic mood on Capitol Hill has grown gloomier about their midterm prospects, which contributed in part to Patrick Leahy’s decision to retire: Democrats are growing gloomier in their outlook for the midterms next year amid President Biden’s poor approval ratings, nagging economic issues and GOP advantages in the redistricting process. We noted here a WaPo/ABC poll that showed Republicans with a 10-point lead among registered voters on the generic Congressional question. That was the widest GOP lead in the 40-year history of that poll, and one might have suspected that it was an outlier. But today, Rasmussen Reports released even more remarkable results. Rasmussen finds the GOP up by 13 points, 51%-38%, on the generic Congressional ballot, among likely voters. Republicans lead by 22 points among independents. With 17% of independents undecided, that lead could grow. Also notable is that 30% of blacks say they would vote Republican if the election were held today.

The FBI’s “Counterterrorism and Criminal Divisions created a threat tag, EDUOFFICIALS, to track instances of related threats,” according to the email. “The purpose of the threat tag is to help scope this threat on a national level and provide an opportunity for comprehensive analysis of the threat picture for effective engagement with law enforcement.”
